About Le Chameau:

Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“I bought these for my daughter. I have had Le Chameau wellies myself for over 20 yes, I wear them every day, some days for 8hrs. Would consider them an investment, but they definitely do return!!! I believe I have had only 3 pairs in that time, I still wear 2 of those... neoprene lined in winter, jersey in Summer. My kids have had other well known brands, which cracked around the ankles after only months....so now, I'm afraid there's only one brand worth buying, for us, comfort and value in the long run...Le Chameau.”
