About Le Chameau:

Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“Ordered 2 pairs of boots and neither size fitted. My feet are not wide nor fat but I could not get feet through the ankle opening and into the foot bed. Really poor sizing for such a lot of money”

We would recommend looking into our Chasseur range, these boots have a full length side zip which when used allows the boots to be slipped on with ease. “Le Chameau sent my order promptly and with very clear information about delivery. However, delivery by DPD was horrendous! I waited in my kitchen during the 2hour delivery slot....then when no delivery arrived I checked the DPD site and it said that they were running late. I left my kitchen at approx. 8pm...the original slot was 3.35 - 4.35pm. I received a DPD report that they had "missed me" at 8.03pm...which was utter rubbish! I have 3 windows to my kitchen and NO delivery driver even attempted to deliver my Le Chameau package. My daughter was there at that time! They then said they would deliver on the Monday but they turned up unexpectedly the next day, Saturday! I am disabled. This experience concerns me that future purchases will leave me waiting for 5 hours but with no actual delivery by DPD...just lies from them about their supposed "attempt" to deliver. It was upsetting.”
