On 9 April 2025, we purchased a Kettler Mini Corner Sofa Set, and paid £2,135 for the set plus the covers. At the time of purchase we were specifically told by the Sales Assistant that it came with an adjustable table; we queried this as it was a key selling point for us due to my husband's disability. We took delivery of the furniture on 20 May 2025. When constructing it, we noticed that the table was not the adjustable table we had ordered. I telephoned Leekes that afternoon and they said that the Sales Assistant we had dealt with would ring me first thing the following morning. I was not telephoned as promised, but received an email stating : "I have been made aware that you believed you would be receiving the adjustable table. The adjustable table is only available with the larger corner group which costs £2199. The set you chose for £1799 is the set that has the slatted top table, hence why it is slightly cheaper." The cost quoted in the email was incorrect. I telephoned the store to find out what was going on, at which time it was acknowledged that an error had been made. The Sales Assistant stated that ‘mistakes happen’ and if I wanted the adjustable table, I had to pay an extra (circa) £200. I said I was not prepared to do this as I had specifically been told that the adjustable table was included in the original price. Consequently, I asked that Leekes collect the furniture and the covers and issue a refund. The Sales Assistant stated that this was not an option and if I wanted the adjustable table, I had to pay the extra. This was not an acceptable resolution. Following a conversation with Trading Standards, I submitted a complaint to the Customer Services Department on 21 May 2025. I suggested that somebody other than the Sales Assistant we had dealt with check exactly what was ordered as the invoice and the costs quoted in the email did not tally. It then transpired that the wrong sofa, as well as the wrong table had been ordered and sent to us, so a new delivery had to be made the following week. We requested that Leekes arrange for someone to put the furniture together for us, as my husband had already struggled to do this once, and due to his disability this would be difficult for him to do again. The fact this had to be done a second time was solely because of errors made by Leekes. We were told this was not possible, and it was suggested that we use a handy man at our own cost. We are extremely disappointed with the service received by Leekes. In our experience, they have been wholly incompetent. While we realise that 'mistakes happen' the calibre of the company is determined by the way in which it deals with those mistakes. Leekes has fallen sadly short in this regard.

unable to get reply on phone , unable to find a way to query the quality of my purchase online .I bought a handbag reduced to half price labeled Nova Leather ,I foolishly expected it to be leather but the inside label says polyurethane ! Nobody answers phone but that to me looks like misrepresentation -perhaps Trading standards might show more interest than Leekes .

I was continually messed around regarding the delivery of a new bed I ordered. Having been given three different delivery dates, I was told a definite date and that I would not have to do anything because payment would be taken out of my account automatically. That proved not to be the case and, because of the inconvenience and lack of professional courtesy I told Leekes I would be cancelling the order. I then received a very nasty and intimidating phone call from a senior member of the company saying I could not cancel and that they would be considering instigating court proceedings. Not only was I dissatisfied by the very poor customer service I received but I was deeply sickened by the bombastic manner of the senior member of staff who showed a serious lack of empathy and, in my opinion, a lack of of understanding of consumer law..

Refused to give a refund after cancelling a kitchen the following day, before anything was even ordered. It’s called a cooling off period, Leeks are refusing to refund. They have taken over £1200 of my money.

Job number CN-07-1162046 Ordered new conservatory build and kitchen and bathroom conversion in Sept 2020 .It is now 25 Oct 2021 and conservatory not yet finished .Kitchen not yet installed and bathroom not yet plumbed in or anything fitted .This was caused by a 6 month delay by Leekes Surveyor not forgetting to send plans for planning permission to Newport Borough Council. This has had knock on effects on the whole build . I have emailed board member and General manager without reply. It unacceptable once paid for plans for them not to be submitted as promised . We are now in winter without cooker facilities. Conservatory or kitchen unusable. Yet Leekes are still asking for further stage payments when the stages haven't been completed. Also measurements by surveyor on build are incorrect resulting in not able to have 60cms dishwasher or double sink as planned .Other problems also too numerous to mention Please can somebody help

Came to quote provided quote and signed on day paying deposit. Salesman advised would start work in 8 weeks. 10 weeks later after multiple calls to their customer care team and email to the CEO to finally get a response that the quote had now gone up by £6000 as they apparently hadn’t allowed for some work however as I advised them this was absolute lies as the salesman had called the are manager whilst stood next to me to get the cost for what they had advised they hadn’t allowed for. I would not recommend as they will mess you around and waste your time and the customer service is non existent including from Peter Martin the director of the department.

Appalling Customer service. Paid £1400 for this dining set and it was faulty. Leekes refused to pay the restauration costs as I couldn't provide a detailed report. Even though the upholsterer sent the following feedback and photo. Most reputable stores would have honoured the refurbishment costs. Not Leekes Casa-petra corner dining set. The back rail had failed, very poor quality timber and not substantial enough to provide support for the springs. We had to glue and screw an additional support timber to the broken twisted back rail and added additional cross members and metal brackets to make the bench safe. The overall quality and construction was very poor and we were shocked to see the quality from a reputable company as Leekes.

Caused me an injury and not intersted If I could leave no stars I would. Ordered fragile dinner service from Leekes, had to chase to see where my order was, after not hearing from them for nearly 4 weeks, but they quickly took my money. They do not even let you know if they have received your order, or if its being delayed, dispatched etc. When said service arrived it was packed in bubble wrap, and chucked in a box which meant it was free to move around, I could not believe the state of this delivery. Put my hand in to retreive plates which were not to my knowledge broken so therefore cut my finger and it was bleeding for some time. I contacted Leekes about this, it took over a week for someone to ring me with a reply to my problem. I sent them pictures if my injury and over a week later and its still hurting. No items sent to customers should harm them due to irresponsible people packing them and not giving a damn. This is the response ' 'Customers should be careful', no offer of compensation, apology that this happened'. Leekes you should be ashamed of this companies reputation, used to be professional but not anymore. This negligent packing of items caused me an injury and your not interested, for shame on you.

Bathroom suite: only ONE item fit for purpose! I ordered a full bathroom suite from Leekes, including all accessories and other fittings, so a substantial number of items. Out of all the items ordered from Leekes, ONLY ONE was correct! Everything else was either damaged, missing, or was the wrong colour or finish. Strangely, they also managed to send two toilet seats . . . maybe because you can never have enough?!? It’s hard to imagine how useless you have to be to get things this wrong!

A Staggering Mix of Incompetence and Arrogance! I used to be a very loyal customer of Leekes, but not any more . . . here’s why . . . (make yourself a cup of tea, this is a LONG list of serious problems!) Having spent around £10,000 in Leekes for a mix of furnishings, including delivery and assembly of all items, the following problems occurred: 1. Leekes forgot to deliver and fit the internal mirror for the wardrobe, then refused to return to fit it, leading me to have to fit it myself. Initially, they also refused to deliver the mirror, expecting me to collect it, even though I’d paid for delivery and fitting. 2. Delivered a damaged dining table twice, and then refused to return to assemble the third one. Once again I had to disassemble (because they had the cheek to ask for the damaged bits back!) and then reassemble the table myself at a time to suit their delivery drivers. It took 5 months after delivery of the first damaged table to get an undamaged one. 3. I pointed out the damage to the first dining table to the delivery driver, who refused to accept it was damaged despite it being plainly obvious, refused my rejection of the table, and just continued to assemble it. 4. Delivered an obviously damaged sideboard, then took 4 months to replace it. 5. Sold me curtains that turned out to be discontinued, and having taken full payment, then kept my money for 9 months without being honest about the curtains being discontinued. Despite me repeatedly asking what was going on, and Leekes making statements about a refund being available, they didn’t actually provide one until a Senior Manager became involved. Leekes then blamed me for not contacting them (which was untrue), and then claimed I was on holiday so they couldn’t give me a refund (holiday for 9 months??? Also untrue!). 6. Were late by over 2 hours for the first delivery, providing no update calls and no explanation. Leekes have still not provided any response whatsoever to this. 7. Were late by over 5 hours for the second delivery, eventually arriving after 10pm (yes, that 10:00 at night!), proceeded to disturb my neighbours, shouted and sounded the vehicle’s horn in the street in their attempts to find my house, and then further shouted in the street as they unloaded the van. I had to tell them to be quiet to avoid disturbing my neighbours (more than they already had!). Leekes have still not provided any response whatsoever to this. 8. Damaged all 6 dining chairs while assembling them, such that they all had to be replaced. On one of them, they somehow managed to twist off the end of an Allen key and leave it embedded in the bolt head! It left a sharp point on the underside of the chair base right where you’d put your hands to lift the chair, and would have easily cut a hand or finger that came into contact with it. Took 3 months to provide undamaged replacements. 9. Left my home and front garden littered with bits of cardboard, tape, and polystyrene. Trod mud into my light-coloured carpet that I had to scrub out. Leekes then disputed that this happened or was a problem despite being presented with photographic evidence. 10. Leekes also tried to blame ME for the time taken for THEM to provide replacements, saying I should have told them I wanted the replacements more quickly! Are they serious?!?!? As if all this wasn’t enough, the Store Manager repeatedly did not respond to telephone calls, messages left, or emails, and then claimed that he had, even when presented with the emails that had gone unresponded to! When I then escalated the complaint to the Managing Director, I received a very angry call from the Store Manager (clearly upset that I’d gone over his head), where he falsely accused me of dishonesty, did not even attempt to present any evidence to support his claims, refused to apologise, and refused to discuss any aspect of the complaint further. It seemed rather pointless of him to phone me, other than to have an angry rant to a customer about how he disliked me making a fully justified complaint and escalating it when he didn’t respond! It ended up being dealt with by the Financial Controller, who made the stunning statement that “we’ve spent too long on this already”, seemingly being clouded by arrogance and forgetting that Leekes had caused all the problems to start with! All I can say is that Leekes leadership seem to exist in some sort of parallel universe where they think their service is perfectly fine. It’s hard to understand how this level of blind arrogance is possible in the face of such plainly evident problems as described above. As I said at the start, I used to be a loyal Leekes customer, but never again, and I’d advise anyone thinking of buying anything from Leekes to think again . . . you could very easily end up regretting it and giving yourself a whole load of hassle! Note to Leekes: Please don’t bother adding the sort of pathetic pithy image-covering reply to this review that you usually do, offering “help” – it’s too late for that. Nothing you can add to this review excuses anything I’ve described above, and I’m confident that any reasonable person would see that, and would see straight through any response you provide.

I placed an order for a Denby set. The first parcel was Apparently delivered by Parcelforce and left in a safe location (my front garden In view of everyone) I go to check and it’s not there. (This is not Leekes fault) However!!! I make contact with Leekes via email as unfortunately they don’t have anyone covering Their phone lines. I get a reply 48 hours after sending my first email from a lady called Karen, telling me that they will send a replacement set out . But then felt the need to say in the email ( I’m Surprised that leaving it on the front garden is not a safe place) I feel like Karen was trying to get a dig in. Karen’s job isn’t to advice or give an opinion on what is and what isn’t a safe place when I never asked for her opinion. So the second parcel arrives from Parcelforce 3 days after they had it (again not Leekes fault) it wasn’t for a friend who works at Parcelforce I’d still be waiting on my parcel) So I open the box to find one of the bowls chipped !! I have emailed Karen twice now to raise this and I’ve yet to receive a response!! This is possibly one of the worst experience I have had as a customer both with Leekes and Parcelforce. All I want is my replacement bowl or my money back so I can shop else where ! Please tell Karen to email me back . Andrew prime

Shocking customer service. An online order over a week late (nothing to do with the virus). The website doesn't communicate to the store, which don't communicate to customer teams, who don't communicate with their customer. Absolute shambles. Keep being told an order has been sent. Wait another 24 hours, nothing arrives. No one returns emails. Only call you back after you've called them. I guess this is why people use amazon prime!

It took over a year of turmoil before Leekes offered a mere £50 gesture of goodwill for the unacceptable customer service provided at the Cross Hands store. It is a myth that you pay extra at Leekes for good quality products and excellent customer service. -A number of patched up scuff marks were noticed on the kitchen cupboards following kitchen installation by a Leekes approved fitter. It then took over five months for the fitter to undertake a substandard correction of one of the panels which left the work surface splattered with paint. -We were left to insert all of the internal cupboard fittings ourselves and dispose of all the rubbish. -No protective covering was used during the kitchen installation. This led to our newly purchased vinyl flooring being scratched and damaged beyond repair. Please! Please! Please can everyone learn from our mistake. Save your money and avoid Leekes at all cost.
