“I live in Canada and count on Lion Country Supply to help me train my Brittany. I have purchased everything thing from whistle lanyards a electronic pigeon release. My latest purchase was the book: Training Tips Your Bird Dog Will Love by Martha Greenlee. It is a slender book that I treasure. “Although I am thrilled with the addition of a beep/tone feature in addition to the buzzer, the handheld is definitely a step backwards from the older ProSport model. The concave shape of the face makes it difficult with larger hands. And the labeling of the settings wheel, in addition to the buttons, is very hard to see without cheater glasses. All they needed to do was keep the old setup then add a tone button. I’m quite disappointed, but this was the only unit offering Buzz(I use for recall) and Tone ( replacing the whistle for sit). Hey Garmin, sometimes reinventing the wheel really isn’t necessary….”
