We've had our Loaf sofa for just coming up to 1 year. We paid over £2k for this sofa, direct from Loaf. Design-wise: very cute. Love the design and the fabric (clever velvet). But ohhh wow...the shape of the cushions is SO BAD. You have to literally fluff them every single day and they just flatten out and look AWFUL within the same day. Honestly would not recommend. For the price we paid, I feel pretty sick.

Our 3.5k sofa arrived last night at 5.30pm. It was just left in our front room all wrapped no instructions on connecting it together. I now know they can’t put it together because of covid but they took our money. Covid didn’t stop that. We both have bad backs and it weighs a ton especially the sofa bed bit which by the way they didn’t tell us it was still wired up. Not good service. We were going to get another for one of the bedrooms but think we will look elsewhere

We bought a crumpet sofa over two years ago. The cushions contained no foam which was stated in the marketing, just feathers which clumped together making it very unomfortable and ugly and a huge effort to plump up several times a day. To their credit, Loaf did replace the cushions, but one was slightly smaller than the other and the clumping problem still occured. In the end we measured up and bought good quality foam ourselves. It cost us about £150 to do this and we were nervous about getting the size right. The sofa doesn't have the nice comfy look of the advertising but it is now firm and useable.

I thought the style looked really cool when buying back in June but the sofa looses its shape so easily and looks dented every time you sit on it! It’s also slanted when you sit on it and not that comfy! Wish I could of seen it in the flesh before purchasing as it was so expensive you’d at least expect it to keep its shape :(

Nothing wrong. We have two pudding sofas one in fabric and one in leatherand (a love seat) The cushions loose their shape and have no spring in them, thou they are comfy, but you have to buff them up all the time as they have goose feathers in them, and the feathers keep coming out and can prick you as you sit on them. Have had these for about a year and you really do get fed up with having to buff them up all the time as the cushions are heavy and require beating in shape.

Sat here crying. It’s everything I EVER wanted … huge, looks incredible and the colour is to die for BUT ITS BEYOND UNCOMFORTABLE!!! I just don’t understand? It wasn’t this uncomfortable in the showroom ? I would have never in my life spent over 7k on an uncomfortable sofa! So tomorrow I will be contacting them to collect and refund - I took delivery yesterday ! Absolutely heartbroken. Arrived marked too on one of the cushions but that’s nothing compared to the pain in my body from sitting on it. Oh Loaf I’m so so disappointed. I just hope your return and refund process is a more comfortable process as you have no idea the stress you has now caused me!

I chose the easy peasy sofa because I didn't want the faff of rearranging cushions. It's the most uncomfortable sofa I have ever owned. No lumber support and we get up off both the sofa and the snug chair moaning and aching like old people. It's fine in the showroom for 5 minutes but you literally can't sit on it for more than 30 minutes without being uncomfortable. Everyone who sits on it says the same. I saved up to buy it, and I'm gutted about my choice. I will have to replace it. What a waste of money and more landfill... I cant sell it... its that bad that I won't put anyone else through it. I won't buy from loaf again. Good marketing but better value for money elsewhere. Save yourself the disappointment.

Just a fantastically uncomfortable sofa. Keeping with the Loaf twee nomenclature, we call ours the "Numb Bum". After half an hour on it, you lose all sensation in your posterior. I got the Jonesy but I think they're all much of a muchness. All style, and definitely no substance as the seat cushions are woefully underfilled. Avoid.

This is a review I left for The Cushion Guys. I didn’t contact Loaf as the reviews published clearly show this to be a waste of time. Your sofa frame is lovely but as a complete unit, fails miserably as you cannot sit on it without being super uncomfortable or, using several back support cushions to stop you reclining to a prone position. If you would like to discuss compensation for my costs in rectifying your cushions I would be only to happy to discuss this with you. We have two loaf dawdler sofa’s. Loaf appear to send out their sofa’s with different cushion filling to the one in the showroom. The cushions on the delivered product ‘fail’ almost immediately requiring the need to ‘plump’ up the cushions four or five times a day. After 8 months, the interior begins to degrade and breakdown causing white residue to leak out. So, enough about Loaf, now onto The Cushion Guys. First class service and cushions we can now sit on and not sink into a reclining position immediately after sitting down. Makes the sofa’s (which are good save the rubbish cushions) great again. Turn around from us sending off the covers to return 7-10 working days. All be it not cheap, cost reflects quality of customer service and the actual product itself so good value. As Benjamin Franklin once said, “The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of a low price is forgotten”. Shame Loaf wasn’t a lower price to reflect the poor quality of their cushion inserts. It’s a shame I didn’t keep the old Loaf cushions to show pictures of the quality, or lack of. Well done Cushion Guys for solving this for us.

Same issue as everyone else. Only had it a few months (Squisharoo) - love the shape, colour, fabric but the massive cushions are heavy, need constant plumping and become hard. The design means that the two back cushions and two seat cushions are over a metre in length each! Cumbersome! You don’t sit right up to the arm nor to the middle (if there’s only two of you) so there are already dents in our regular sitting spaces which we can’t swap around because they are shaped to the ends, rather than smaller, squared off cushions which could be swapped around for even wear.

Beware - I would advise you look elsewhere for expensive furniture. My bed is made of the linen and you can not clean it.....with anything. I actually do not think this material is suitable for beds, sofas etc....but they appear to be still selling it. Also dreadful customer service

Horrendous, very long story but the short version is I ordered a rug, after 3 months waiting was told it was coming on a particular day. Didn’t arrive and now the truth is it was oversold so was never going to arrive, so I was lied to. Company still has my money despite requests to refund me - falling in deaf ears. Will be getting my credit card company to begin recover the money.

I ordered a bed in December, the delivery originally stated in March. My online order status then said delivery in January and I chased serveral times to be told the website dates were incorrect and the product was stuck in the red sea and it would be delayed but no timescale could be given. Fast forward 4 months after no other updates but from the delivery company to say to book the delivery and the bed has arrived damaged. It's a wooden bed which is scratched and scuffed and there is a stain on the headboard which looks like glue and then dirt on it. Contacted loaf straight away, spoke to a Ffion who was lovely and said she would get it sorted and apologised for the way the delivery was handled too but then since then I've asked someone to contact me and been ingored for 6 days. Paid £1700 for a bed which has come damaged and they don't care? Not what I expect from a company of there size. Disappointed doesn't cut it.

Not upholstery fabric I bought two very expensive Jonesy sofas and after a couple of years the fabric which I don’t believe is upholstery fabric , began to wear and holes actually appeared in the weave. I have written many, many letters to loaf who have refused compensation and said as the fabric is out of its year’s warranty, there is nothing can be done. One year! So all that money for one year only. I am writing to the press about this as I really do not want other customers to be taken in by their fluffy , persuasive marketing talk , and need to let others know that they are wasting their money as the quality of their sofas is shoddy. My old sofas had no sign of wear after 30 years of the whole family sitting on them. The Loaf sofas are hardly used in comparison and are an embarrassing feature of the house due to the holes!

Shocking delivery, left covers in van, they returned them 3 months later. Excuses at every call. But they gave us a mug for the inconvenience…. The sofa is soooo uncomfortable. What can we do? Dealing with them would be a nightmare we can’t handle again.

I bought the Bumpster Sofa, looks good but is so uncomfortable, you slide off it even though it has deep cushions to sit on, so so uncomfortable!

I would give 0 stars if I could. I’ve been waiting 4 months for a rug. Numerous emails (and 2 free mugs) later, it was arriving on Thursday. It didn’t. So disappointed, rug looked beautiful. Suspecting it’ll never arrive.

If I can deter one person from buying from this company I will be happy. Lots of glossy advertising and style over substance. The products look beautiful in the brochures and advertisements and the colours look vibrant but in reality in my case a serious disappointment. We purchased a Brontë chaise longue in August 2021 within a year the colour had started to fade from an Olive Green to a very unpleasant mustard yellow. It also left marks if any pressure was put on it which were impossible to brush out. Even putting a pillow on it left a mark! The company eventually after much persistence sent a technician round to inspect it . He put it down to exposure to light ( not sunlight!) and thought this was perfectly acceptable. We had another chaise longue in the same position for 10 years with no visible sun damage whatsoever prior to purchasing the new one. It was also a fraction of the price. The chaise longue set us back £1,300 The complaint unfortunately was placed outside the 1 year fabric warranty when the item was around 2 years old. The company placed no responsibility at all for this issue which to me is one of poor fabric quality as you would expect a product at this price to last many years. For a company that prides itself on its quality and service this is a serious misrepresentation. I would strongly advice anyone of thinking of buying one of their products to think again. Unless you have no windows and don’t plan to sit on it! I have attached a photo of the chaise longue with a swatch showing the original colour on it.
