I ordered the May box, was told it had been dispatched but what I received was the 'free mystery box' which turned out to be an old December box. I have emailed to chase the order I have paid for and no response. Terrible customer service!!!!

After wasting my time for a month and me keeping receiving messages that the courier was attempting delivery for a period of 3 weeks, the order was returned and the money was refunded. Communication with lookfantastic in the meanwhile was horrible. I was touch with at least 6 different customer reps. They where all requesting me different type of information. A truly confused sorry bunch of time wasters!

This review is about Lookfantasic customer service. It's the worst I have ever seen. IN April I have ordered a beauty box, after seeing what was inside and being interested in those products. In MAY I did NOT receive the April box but I received the CHRISTMAS one! I complained it was not what I ordered and they say there is no mistakes from their side. Really??? I order in April something (you probably did not sell) from December?? And for their mistake, they are asking ME to go to the post office and spend money to send it back to UK. R U kidding guys??? #WORKSTCUSTOMERSERVICEEVER

I had put items in my basket and didnt have enough funds in my bank...so i thought no more about it but today they took an unauthorised 100 pound from my bank...these items were sitting in my basket a month my bank told me they have tried 5 times to take payment..im now left 90 overdrawn and had to cancel my bank card...sure they dont have the right to check out items in a basket without my permission

Terrible customer service. I took a reaction to foundation that I had never tried before and contacted LF team. They have been using delaying tactics for at least a month and allege that their quality control team need to review matter. It is appalling that they sell cosmetics and have no policy in place for customer taking allergic reaction. Will never use this company again!

Worst customer service, EVER. Placed an order and the Royal Mail seemingly never received it - this is the second time this has happened to me with orders. Contacted LF after 4 days and let them know i'd like the order replaced but could they send next day as I had ordered ahead of a holiday. Was told explicitly no they wouldn't do it, but they would place the order. Contacted them again after 2 days as I'd had no confirmation of the replacement order. Apparently they just could not be arsed to send it out when I contacted previously. Again, communicated I needed the order urgently for my impending holiday, and could they possibly send next day delivery as a gesture of good will due to the issues their end - again was told in no uncertain terms, no they would not do this. Received a message from the team an hour later saying the first order had mysteriously been returned to them (after being lost...) and that they had now cancelled and refunded my order. Except I have to wait for FIVE days to get my cash back and cannot actually afford to replace the items I need before my holiday. Just a generic "sorry" message - honestly, the lack of GAF in their messaging is so minimal. OH, and the real kick in the teeth. We're sorry we messed up, here's a £5 voucher to apologies, but you have to spend more money in order to use it, and it doesn't work on about 40% of our brands so.... Do not use, EVER. Unless you just really fancy wasting your time chasing their customer service team up to do their bloody job.

I ordered my daughter a 12 months beauty box subscription. Her first box arrived and she loved it and asked me to order her friend the same box as a one off for a birthday gift. I made sure I ordered it as a 1 month subscription got the confirmation email and saved it. The gift was greatly received. The next month an additional payment came out for the 1 month subscription. As you can’t talk to anyone in customer service because they make it so difficult even though they advertise it, turns out it’s set up for auto renewal. Why? If you wanted more than a 1 month box you would of clicked on the option for the 3,6,9 or 12 months. Please note these all auto renew just like ya car insurance who new.

They have wrongly marked my package as gift. The customs is holding it as it has been misdeclared and undervalued. I need to submit invoice for them to release the package, and I have been in touch with the so called 'customer service team' since over 2 months, all they say is that the invoice would be sent in 3-5 days, and it's been more than 60 days and they still give the same reply.

Customer service is non-existent in this company. I have waited for almost a month for a delivery that has not arrived even though Hermes (surprise, surprise) has said it was delivered. I have been told to fill out two ‘non-receipt of goods’ disclosure forms and told that I would be notified when Hermes has invested the delivery… almost a month later and I am tired of waiting. I just want my money back. I will contact my bank and raise a dispute with them which should hopefully resolve this whole debacle. Avoid!

Order 2 Clinique moisture surge received one plus a sachet sample.£26 ridiculous. Moisture Surge pot was tiny. Would never recommend you such a con.

Bought the mother's Day scent gift box which is essentially a box of sample size perfumes for £55. The box was advertised with a £55 discount code for the perfumes in the box which wasn't included but to me justified the purchase as my partner could choose a full size version of a fragrance that she liked. I have been on online chat, sent emails and no one seems to be interested (live chat just mysteriously disconnects) and get holding emails but no contact can't help but feel that I have been ripped off.

Made an order and paid using Laybuy. They cancelled my order but never refunded my original payment or inform Laybuy that they cancelled the order. And they are still collecting payments each week which will total £95! I have contacted them 8 times in 2 weeks with no help whatesover. No customer phone number so you are at the mercy of their text messaging service which is appalling as you have to wait potentially hours between replies and I keep getting told the same thing. They’ve supposedly escalated it to the finance desoartneby but yet I’ve heard nothing from them and had no refund either. Supposed to be a live chat but it’s not, it’s no different to sending an email. I’ve literally and no exaggerating, waited a full day for a reply between messages with an agent.

I linked my Glossybox account to my lookfantastic account and used my credit from GB to pay for my first subscription order on LF. My order was for a subscription box, a free mystery box and a free dry shampoo (also with next day delivery) on 1/4/22. I received my free box the next day, albeit AWFULLY delivered by Evri, thankfully I saw the delivery email. I asked customer service on 4/4/22 about my order and that it had not arrived. I asked to cancel my subscription as I only wanted the April box as well. I have contacted customer service every day for the past week to find out when I am getting my box. I have been told I will receive a refund, I was also told they have none left in stock, I have received an email saying my box is delayed and I have also been told my subscription was cancelled so I won’t be getting it (yet I paid 3 days prior with next day delivery…). Honestly it’s been the worst experience and will be my last with LF. None of the customer service have a clue, every reply is generic and nobody seems to be looking into my issue. I’m appalled with how I have been treated and just hope nobody else has the same experience. I would definitely not recommend buying anything from LookFantastic.

Ordered 4 items and it took weeks to get 2 items.I had to open a paypal case for the other 2 items that went on for weeks. I never received blusher or mascara but they said i did, even though i had a email saying they had no blushers due to supply issues. Hermes had no tracking record but they never answered my queries or questions. Finally after about 3 months...i went on chat button on website and they refunded the 2 items but i had to argue for it. Its was the principle not the cost. Dont buy from this company. The parent company, The hut.com also have very bad reviews. Avoid and save yourself the stress.

Do not order from look fantastic!!! Order never arrived and money was taken. Raised many enquires but all to no avail. All I got for 2 x months was generic automated responses.

I have been ordering through Look fantastic for a few years and I was satisfied most of the times. Until the recent order, which was placed on 28th of February and todays is 31st of March and I still haven't received one item (elemis face cream) from my order, the customer service team is useless, and there is no contact number or call center. every time I send my email the different person replies and I have to type details ever and ever again, they told me to wait till 10th of April. Yes one month and 10 days to wait in 21st century to get an order. I don't believe them, they are scammers and just want to warn people NOT TO ORDER through them, yes their discounts might be tempting, however there is no guarantee you receive your order.

Ordered a bunch of products on Black Friday (late November 2021), some came weeks later, some where cancelled months later, some just didn’t arrive. Chased up with the company. Same old shpiel. It took over 3 months to get my products. 3 months. And when I wanted compensation for loss I was told the matter was referred to customer relations who would be in contact within 48 hours. Unless Lookfantastic has a different understanding of what 48 hours is…I’m lost. It has been over 3 weeks since.

I ordered the Mother's Day Scent Edit box which included several good sized samples of fragrance. There was also meant to be a £55 discount voucher that was only redeemable against any of the sample fragrances included in the box. This was the major selling point of this product. There was also a Mother's Day Scent Edit 2 box for sale with a different, less desirable, (to me anyway), collection of fragrances which is why I purchased the first box. On receipt I checked the voucher and to my dismay it was for the second box with the rubbish perfumes and not for the one I had purchased. I have emailed Look fantastic 4 times in the last 7 days, only to be told that they'd passed my emails to Customer Support and would get back to me. The time frame given for a response to my query was 72 hours which they have not met. The whole selling point was this voucher which is useless to me as I don't like the fragrances I can redeem it agsinst. It's very frustrating not getting a resolution from the customer support and I feel very let down. You can tell a lot from a company with regards to how they deal with any issues and Look Fantastic has really not stepped up to the mark. I'm now wondering if I should just return the box but I don't trust them to process a refund if I do that. In conclusion, I've totally lost faith in them and will take my business elsewhere.
