“Ordered £40 worth of make-up on the 15th Nov. I have almost given up hope of receiving this parcel. Just get fobbed off with automated responses or 'we're looking in to it'. This company is only interested in generating NEW SALES and could not give a damn about resolving any problems (of their making). I think they should be reported to Watchdog. I'd like to see that CEO of Hut Group try and justify their non-existent Customer services. I shall never order from this 'company' again and, as many have suggested, it is probably a scam. I feel my only hope is to try and pursue a refund through Paypal.”

“I have ordered from numerous websites during the Black Friday / Cyber Monday sales who all coped with the increased demand this year. None have provided a disastrous level of service quite like Look Fantastic have. Understandably, minor backlogs can be excused, however, it is clear they have been dishonest about how poorly equipped their staff and systems were in preparing for the sales and high demand. The blanket excuse of “COVID” and “increased safety measures” for the ridiculous delays doesn’t suffice when so many online retailers have managed to get it right, and have implemented the exact same safety precautions. I placed my order Cyber Monday and 5 days later the order still hasn't processed. LF claim their website advised 5-7 working days to process and despatch orders which is in-fact incorrect. Their website currently advises 24 hours to despatch and a DELIVERY window of 5-7 days. Meaning I should expect it within the next 2 days (highly unlikely as it hasn’t even left the warehouse shelf). They won't allow me to cancel it and failed to honour the free gift advertised at checkout when you spend £100. Once I placed the order, they took the offer down and it was tough luck as far as they were concerned! I was barely given an apology. Perhaps then, rather unsurprisingly, why TheHut.com (who own LF and other sites) have had numerous ASA cases against them, which they lost, regarding misleading advertising/sales tactics. No genuine effort was made to keep my custom and fulfil promises, so I will be returning the full order to shop elsewhere. Sadly, my first order with LF (which I placed to treat myself during lockdown) has completely put me off shopping again with this company.”

“Placed an order a week ago and still no despatch. Tried to cancel the whole order, they have cancelled 1 item from the order but not the other 4 which makes no sense. When I asked why they haven’t cancelled the whole order, they said they can’t cancel as it’s already being processed. Well why have they been able to cancel one item. Makes no sense. Either give me a dispatch date or a refund. I have now had to do all my Christmas shopping elsewhere as I’m worried they won’t arrive on time or at all. They are liars, scammers and I won’t be using them again. Avoid at all costs.”

“Terrible company I have placed an order on 25/11. Today i contacted the customer service thrugh live chat and they said that the items that i have ordered are out of stock! If i hadn't contact them they were just going to leave me waiting for my order forever, although is their job to contact and inform that my order is out of stock, even if when i ordered it was on stock. Absolutely unacceptable. Don't trust them!”

“DON’T buy from this website. Slow feedback and customer replied script is standard. NO track down number can provide but keep saying is shipped out. Delivery expectation date is fake, never delivered. CANNOT do refund!!! Never buy from this site again!!!!”

“AVOID. THE MOST UNRELIABLE PLACE TO SHOP. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY DONT EVEN HELP YOU ITS LIKE TALKING TO A ROBOT. IF I WAS YOU I WOULD SHOP ELSEWHERE”

“AVOID at all costs. Signed me up through my facebook account without my authorisation, therefore I have no access to the email on the account. I have made a monthly subscription and I have been trying to change the email for a month, have been charged for 2 months however never received anything, and all the staff says is that they cannot find the email and that there is nothing they can do. I guess is easy just to keep charging your customers. Staff unhelpful, live chat does not work, app does not work, they just take your money and do not care anymore. Avoid, avoid, avoid!”

“Is there 0 stars as 1 is too high? Is there 0 stars as 1 is too high for this company. This is the worse company I have ordered goods from and will never be doing it again, so please avoid! Just contacting the customer service is impossible so if you have a problem, good luck. I’ve contacted them through 4 different platforms (fb, tweeter, website and text message). Takes them hours/days to answer on every platform and each time you get a response it’s from someone different. Also one says one thing and another says something completely different. You tell them to read further up as their colleague has said something different but they just go with what they are saying. Still waiting for my goods too (been a week so far). So please shop somewhere else!”

“I buy an awful lot from them, and it's annoying that I have to write this review because before now I would have been very happy with them. I pre-ordered an Advent Calendar in September and was assured numerous times it would be delivered in November and now its December 2nd and there is still no sign of it. I raised a case with them in November and they closed it even though the issue wasn't resolved and I had to open another one yesterday. It is clear I am not going to get the calander but they have charged me for it and won't admit I am not going to get it. It's just very annoying to have to chase a company like this for answers. I hope I will be able to get a refund but even if I do the whole process has been pathetic and infuriating on their part.”
