Maybe it's me, but I always find the signposting of Luton airport to be appalling. It's fine for a bit, and then, at the last moment, disappears. That never helps my experience of parking at Luton Airport. However, the online booking worked fine, and the cameras recognised my car on entry and exit. The shuttle bus was acceptably frequent, clean and quick. Unfortunately for me, there seemed to be very, very little space in the car park (partly due to a lot of spectacularly bad/selfish parking) , and I ended up parked at the far, far end beyond bus stop C, so it was a bit of a schlep with the bags, especially as out on the frontier there's a lot of gravel, which doesn't mix well with wheelie bags. Overall, fine for the money, but a couple of little details could vastly improve the experience, IMHO.

Very few parking spaces, took 10 minutes to find a space. The signs saying SPACES not only guided you up a no entry but there were no spaces.

It was normal. Efficient because all the bays were well marked. Buses could have been more frequent and the outbound was very over full. I found the parking cost a little too steep too.

Some cars were parked in such a way that they were straddling across more than one spaces

There were very few spaces when I parked and we got stuck waiting for a long time behind the shuttle bus, meaning we had to wait for a LONG time to get the next one after we had parked - certainly WELL OVER the promised 15 minutes. Not nice when you're waiting in the cold, albeit in a shelter. On our return the bus took quite some time to arrive and I was lucky to get onto it with my little daughters as there was hardly any space. We had to stand all the way with our bags. Apart from the bus, it was a good parking experience mostly, although we did have to drive around for ages to find a space and the best bit was that we got to put our card into the machine and just leave afterwards.

PARKED IN SHORT TERM CAR PARK AND EASY WALK TO TERMINAL. MY CAR REGISTRATION WAS NOT PRINTED ON THE TICKET AS IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN SINCE I BOOKED AND PAID IN ADVANCE SO THERE WAS A LITTLE DELAY IN LEAVING THE CAR PARK AS I HAD TO SPEAK WITH THE ATTENDANT AT THE BARRIER. A LITTLE ANNOYING, BUT OVERALL THE CAR PARK PROVIDED WHAT I WANTED. WOULD USE THE FACILITY AGAIN

Queuing to clear security was the worst I have ever seen it. In fairness, the place was well staffed and had every section open. It took 40 minutes to get through security , which is the longest it has ever taken me in 45 years of travelling across multiple airports. Not sure how you fix this, but needs looking at

Getting in and booking is easy, it was annoying that there was no short term space left when I booked, but I guess I left it too late. The bus service is reliable and regular. Large sections could really do with be re-paved though as they're quite rough.

The booking is very easy, and entering the car park was simple, with plenty of parking available. However the transfer to the airport was unreliable and definitely doesn't run as often as advertised.

Parked in middle car park, waited at bus stop to catch bus and 3busses past me because they were full,so had to walk which took 20minuetes. I feel this needs to be looked at , I will think twice on where to park in future as I will be using the airport a lot more this year

Short stay parking at Luton is convenient because you can walk to the terminal in less then five minutes. Finding a space isn't the easiest - each long row has the end blocked off so if there isn't a space you have to reverse back! Prices are in line with other short / medium stay car parks at regional airports.

Stayed in short stay car park at Luton. Price was OK, and car park is fairly close to the terminal. However, the car park itself resembles a building site (the surface is terrible - rutted with pot holes) and it's hard to find a space because the ends of each row are blocked off - so twice I had to drive to the end of a row and then reverse all the way back because there were no spaces.

Location was fantastic - easy walking distance to the terminal. It was however, not a great car park in terms of - potholes and huge puddles - dead ends e.g. if you think there is a space down a row, and there isn't, you have to reverse back out because the cars are parked up to the end - walkway to terminal - this was blocked at the bottom end because of building work but only found this out after traipsing down there with my case.

All great save for when leaving. It was late and having packed three children and the luggage into the car we just wanted to get home. However, on putting the ticket into the machine, we were told we owed a further £37. We then had to ask for help from an attendant in the car park and were told that, as we had pre-booked, we had to press for assistance having dug out our booking reference number. The exit was therefore more complicated than it needed to be.

Not as near as I was led to believe. Parking was very busy and hectic, had to use a space in the very back of the car park next to the fence of one of the airports taxiways, my wife has a bad ankle and this was a long walk, considering this it would have been better to use the mid stay car park For half the price and use the shuttle bus.

When leaving the car park was asked to pay £150 although had already pre paid, had to discuss this through intercom so pre paying dosent work

On the positive side, I really liked pre-registering for parking, enabling me to drive right in and drive right out. Compared to most London airports, Luton is fairly convenient to get to. On the downside, for a smaller airport it took forever waiting for a shuttle bus. I regret I didn't time the wait but it certainly was more than 10 mins. And on our return, we stood for a long time in a hail storm waiting for the return bus.
