I have previously purchased two tickets with Etihad for my sister and mother. At the time they had contacted covid and were therefore covid positive making them unable to attend that flight. I contacted etihad at the time and they confirmed to me I will be able to get a refund for this however, because it is an agency purchase, the agency will need to process this for me. The agency in this case is lycafly. After multiple tries and back and forth emails and after 1.5 years, I have not received my refund for both tickets after this was confirmed to me by email from an agent named Jonathon monga that this has gone through on the 11th of august . The agent on email asked me to send the evidence on multiple occasions in which I did for BOTH passengers. I was emailed a response by the agent named Jonathon claimed a refund has been processed for my mothers ticket. I sent tons of emails after that with no response. Fast forward now, refund still hasn’t gone through. Lycafly agents advised Jonathon has left the company. No hand over was completed with no regards to my complaint. I am now dealing with another agent named Mark Jones for the last month. The response was this: Upon checking the records with Etihad Airlines – they have informed us that the ticket / reservation in question has been terminated / expired on their system. Due to this – we are currently unable to make any change / refund request with the airline. With regards to the commitment made to you by one of our representatives – I have made a special exception request through my management team – in order to obtain a waiver from the airline to authorize and claim the refund on the booking. And this was received 10 days ago. I will never book with this company again. Agents cut the call on you and that seems to be a norm as it’s happened about 15 times so far. Not professional, false promised and a waste of time is what you get with this agency. I don’t like to write negative reviews however I have given chance and chance.

Something dishonest is going on .... My card details were compromised. Luckily I put a stop on my credit card, because the next day a charge for £ 1765.90 was attempted to be put through by Lycafly.com. The credit card company declined the payment. I have never ever contacted Lycafly.com about anything, so how is it that they tried to get this money off me? T.C.

Basically experiencing the same issue as the rest of the 1-star reviews on here. Qatar Airways confirmed they had issued the refund I was after to Lyca in January...contacted Lyca to follow up... told me it would take 6-8 weeks for Qatar to issue the refund (note, Qatar confirmed they had already refunded the full amount of my unused voucher)... 8 weeks later, still no refund... another 3 months and I'm still waiting - I just got told today that it would take another 2 weeks for the next "batch processing" of refunds. How is it even acceptable for them to "bulk" collect people's bank details and process the refund weeks after they've received the full amounts from Airlines? Do. Not. Book. With. These. People.

DO NOT BOOK WITH LYCAFLY if your booking is cancelled by the flight they do not help you instead make you keep calling the flightline only to be told you need to call lycafly they do not help you they laugh and say its not their fault the flight is cancelled booked with them for the first time and most definatley the last just spoke to a guy called rangit only for him to cut the call on me and to have the decency to not even apologise as they did not even tell me the flights are cancelled british airways did disgusting service

This company is a SCAM! Simple way to describe this company is a SCAM. Do not deal with this company worse give them your personal details. Booked a flight with them and had the worse nightmare of my life. Booked a premium Economy ticket and got a standard economy ticket with wrong dates, they didn’t take any responsibility, extremely rude and even their head of staff advised they were rude to me because I was asking for something that is not possible, ask me what’s not possible? Cancelling the reservation after they wouldn’t correct their own error instead they started milking me for money from that point because their policy is no refund or cancellation even when they are the ones at fault. Someone calls himself Mark Jones (When clearly he’s not, giving themselves different English names to deceive people) and begged to delete my review for a resolution, but has completely ignored all my emails and hangs up on every call without the courtesy of even giving a response to the disrespectful way I have been treated. Worse if them is Mr. Ranjit Gangly who scammed me of almost £300 for no fault of mine, extremely rude and condescending, even telling me to go do my worse, how a company like this can operate and deal with the UK population beats me, they should be shut down… I am seeking chargeback from my bank and hope my worse enemy do not experience this kind of scam under the guise of travel agents. Please stay away from this con artists, you will save yourself a nightmare and painful trauma.

The most terrible experience I have ever had. Booked a ticket with them and got a different date, called to cancel just 5mins after and was told cancellation and refund isn't possible. Now left at their mercy, paid an extra £150 and £102 for a date change only to be given the same date I had paid money to change and left with emotional trauma due to bullying from their senior bully Mr. Ranjit Ganguly. How this company still trade beats me. What a shame!

This is a fraud agency 2 months ago Confirmed flight ticket Saying flight is canceled Now your ticket is open You can book any time up to a year 4 4Tickets £3004 Looks like no more travel as per your wish I have to go wherever and whenever this agency tells me to go, I request everyone not to buy any ticket through this, stay away from these fraudulent agencies, take tickets from southall travel

They straight up lie to you about situations and what certain airlines are doing around covid. They literally called me up about flexible booking and then continued to put me on hold and switch me around to different workers so they could SCAM me out of my money!!

Misleading and not trustworthy. Booked a flight to Colombo. They charged 704 pounds. 644pounds for flight and 60pounds to make it flexible. But qatar airways all flights are fkexible. There were flights cheaper on other sites. Still booked through them as their staff spoke and believed talking to a human being is safe. So he said to pay 60 pounds extra to make the flight fkexible. Qatar airways says no charge for chsnges or cancellation on any of their flights incl on super saver . But lyca fly asked to pay 700 extra to chsnge the flight. Which means over 1400 Same flight you can book for 659 on their own site. They said wait and waster another 3 hours then Later asked to 269 extra to change one segment. Later when requested to cancel they advised to wait because they want to check with qatar airways for tyeir panalty. Then asked to pay 120 as panaly thst QAhas asked. To cancel. When I called qatar airways ssying no we dont charge its free. Lycafly asked was lying. Then later agreed to take 60 pounds which they asked to pay to make the flight fkexible its so wrong these people cheats. Ultimately it gave us no choice but to sgree to pay 60 pounds and book a flight on qatar airways site. Which is less than what they quote. But more than what we could have got if they havent wasted our time. This is innocent peoples hard earn money. Collecting and booking to see the family. This is wrong. Not ethical. Disappinting. You think online you dont know and if you talk to someone its safe. Not with lyca misselling .. because they took a long time the whole process made us pay more money for the ticket. Because they took a long time for their respond. No i wont recommed.

British Airways has refunded. Lycafly promised to refund my bank account at the end of November but still did not receive it. Call the customer service to ask about the refund process of my ticket, and the customer service directly hangs up on my phone.

I booked a ticket just before the first covid lockdown with lycafly. I was advised that i would get a full return and was asked to complete a form for this. I was told it would be up to 8 weeks. it has now been over 2 years and im still being yold to wait because apparently the airline hasn't given the money yet. Customer service agents are rude and abrupt and its impossible to get through to anyone on the phone. Unfortunately going through aviation authorities has done nothing for me. Avoid this scam company AT ALL COSTS

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Weekly i have been asking for my refund for my cancelled flight on June 2021. Endless weekly calls but i just keep getting fobbed off. Told me last week my refund was issued on 12th October but STILL not in my bank. Disgusting company.

I have booked a ticket in march 2021after it was canceled twice, paying modifications fee no communication from their end to help customer if he is in abroad and my ticket was cancelled where I bought 2 legs ticket with 10 days stay over in Istanbul. Calling from Pakistan to make changes and paid them extra admin charges and ad the end it was cancelled because of the non communication no help from their site. Apply refund in April and it's the end of September several emails I send no one bother to reply or call back and when I call today give ridiculous the excuse of admin stuff, its minor money but the way they treat when you need more help they become monster and play company tactics. From my side I will.sujjest all you in future want to buy ticked from them think before you buy. Absolutely rediculas customer service and costly. Stay away from them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did not inform me when flight was cancelled, took four separate phonecalls to them for them to provide me with this information over the course of 2 weeks after I had noticed an issue. Then on requesting a refund, they charge a £30 admin fee and state a timescale of 12-15 weeks. Stear well clear and book directly with the airline, might cost a little extra but well worth it for a much better customer service, much easier to claim refunds etc. and no sneaky fees chucked in when they can't provide the service.

I booked a flight to Islamabad and paid £456.11 to fly out on 26/03/2021. They advised me to travel even though it was illegal to do so but I opted to get a voucher instead which BA issued to them. I then rebooked my flight again for travel in September however this time they charged me an additional £186.52 which I paid, come September I used BA Avios points to choose a seat and Lycafly told me that BA don’t include seat allocation fees in the voucher (total lie) I was unable to travel due to my destination being on the red list, I then took a voucher again and on 04/09/2021 I rang again to rebook for October expecting my voucher value to be £456.11 + £186.52, their sales rep advised me that the new flight price is £588 and charged me a further £85 and then told me that the voucher sent to them was by BA in September is for £503, I didn’t believe them so I rang BA and they told me that the voucher sent to Lycafly was in fact £603.27 and included the £93 I paid for seat allocation. They are skimming off the top of vouchers in this pandemic time, total crooks. I will be righting to ABTA, BA, ATOL and the Trading Standards agency. Complete fraudsters and thieves. You’re better off avoiding these crooks and disgusting company and better off booking direct. Avoid this company like a bargepole. So far they have stolen £240.63 by skimming vouchers. Avoid this unprofessional evil scammer company. BA and all airlines should remove these crooks from their list of panels.

1 star is too much . Had flights cancelled in Feb , they say they will refund in 16-18 weeks which is total rubbish Stiil waiting for my money, Even though i had also booked the exact same Ba flight for my son though British airways this was refunded within 24 hours of being cancelled. Worst travel company i have ever dealt with. They should not even be trading and investigated by a travel industry governing body. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
