“The half side of salmon was received thawed. There was no dry ice included in the order; just one tiny frozen packet of ice. I called customer service and was told someone would contact me to correct the issue. No one ever did. Mackenzie is usually very good about their customer service but I have to give you a two on this one.”
“I ordered the turkey gravy. First of all last year's gravy was wonderful, plenty of taste and just the right consistency.
However this year's gravy was horrible, tasteless and thin, so thin it didn't even coat the turkey!”
“I ordered three stuffed turkey breasts. The turkey tasted artificial, and the stuffing was unidentifiable. I will not be ordering from you again thank you.”
“So I am sore the product was good as it normally is but one of my recipients did not receive as the delivery company indicated could not deliver but did not leave any notices of try to delivery and when I contacted them the delivery company they indicated my recipient would have to come to their location which was a non starter!!
Very disappointing at best. I had grandchildren who did not receive.”
“We were contemplating buying our Thanksgiving meal through Mackenzie. I told my husband that it is the pictures that tempt you but that I doubt things taste like you hope or expect. We purchased lobster cakes as a "trial" of Mackenzie products. Ordering was simple, it came quickly and was packed exceptionally well to keep it frozen. However, as I expected, the taste was subpar and you had to look really, really hard to find any lobster meat.”
