“The quality of your yarn is very good - I particularly like the DK with wool @£1.50 and the ARAN with wool @ £5.95 . The Claret colour is not available in DK with wool and it is a popular request for me to knit, so I use the 100% Acrylic which is all I can do. However, I have found 2-3 knots in the ball that I have just used. I am pleased with the catalogue you sent me and suggestions to increase your range would be: ARAN with wool in CLARET DK with wool in CLARET, PEBBLE . Your Brown yarn was not dark enough for one of my projects. My parcel got lost and staff at your end gave me differing information. Now resolved, might renew my needles soon!”

“Order came very quick. Only trouble was, when I ordered a knitting pattern, I expected to receive one.I didn't expect to have to download it. I had to get me Grandson to do it for me. I think you should make it plain that you don't send the knitting pattern out.”

“I love Marriner yarns patterns, they are easy to download and clear to follow. I only use yarn which contains wool for my knitting and, as I have jumpers in most of the colours available, I would love to see more different colours in Marriners Dk with wool and Aran with wool. Marriner yarns are the best value and quality available so keep up the good workjust please make more colours. Thank you.”

“Was told when order was received and when it was dispatched. Was a bit disappointed that I had to wait 5 days for its delivery but not your fault. Good quality wool at a good price. Have used Marriner before and will do again.”

“I've only started crochet in last couple of years, I took it up as therapy really to help with my 30yr battle against anxiety and depression and what a gift it has become. However because yarn can be so expensive I was limited to the projects I could tackle but once I discovered Marniers yarn a whole world of colour and crochet has opened up to me. The yarns are so wonderfully dyed in a rainbow of strong vibrant and soft tones. The quality is good and selection of colours allows me to create some beautiful work which is greatly admired and appreciated by family and friends. Having two young grandchildren encourages me to continue my crochet which brings me such happiness. So thank you for the affordability and quality of your yarns I look forward to many years of happy crocheting to come.”

“I found your ordering and delivery service is good, as I live in the Highlands of Scotland. I would like to see more colours on your aran wool, that you use to have. Also one can get other items besides wool, which is very handy as well.”

“My first order with Marriner was swiftly sent. A mixed box of deliciousness. I haven't used any of it yet. The 4 ply cones are for a crochet along which hasn't started yet. The midget ones in almost every shade you do is to make projects unthought of yet. The red and claret are for a poppy project. Can't wait to start. That's why it's 4 stars as I'm waiting to start using the yarn”

“I must admit although i was absoloutley thrilled with my first order, i was very disapppointed with part of my second order. the main reason for placing the order was for the very very pale pink i had received in my first order, which is very difficult to get in the shops but perfect for dolls faces. I was so delighted to recieved in my first order that i ordered a further 5 balls. However what i received was a very different colour, more like a light dusky rose and totally unsuitable for my purposes. On speaking to the girl in the office I was told it was just a different dye lot, I explained it wasnt even close. I was told it was the palest they had and i could send it back for a refund. As that would cost almost as much as a refund I shall keep it, but will not place any further orders for colours which must be specific, such a shame as I must admit so far I have found their wool to be good quality and very good value”
