Absolutely terrible customer service from management. Very impolite and unhelpful. Do not recommend using them

I recently had an extremely disappointing and distressing experience at Massage Envy. During my scheduled appointment, the staff, particularly Emily Freudeneer, displayed unprofessional and antagonistic behavior that escalated into outright harassment. Emily insisted on collecting payment for a prior cancellation due to a positive COVID-19 diagnosis, despite the fact that I had promptly communicated my situation. Her confrontational and dismissive tone led to an embarrassing, prolonged argument at the front desk, which delayed my appointment and created a hostile environment. Furthermore, the facility itself was shockingly unsanitary. The lack of cleanliness raises serious concerns about compliance with basic health standards, making the environment unsafe for customers and staff alike. The overall conditions suggest the need for an immediate health department inspection, as the premises are far from meeting acceptable hygiene requirements. This combination of harassment, antagonism, and unsanitary conditions reflects a severe lack of proper staff training, customer service standards, and operational oversight. After this experience, I have decided to cancel my membership entirely, as I can no longer trust this location to provide a safe or professional experience. I strongly urge Massage Envy to address these significant issues, including staff behavior, customer service training, and health compliance, to restore its reputation and ensure the well-being of its customer

“Kevin” from the Queen Creek location was completely unprofessional and inappropriate when my giving my wife a “massage” . She asked him to work on her stiff neck and did not listen and didn’t work on what she asked him to. Also, he thought it appropriate to try teach her about all of his knowledge of the body as he failed the simplest of tasks… then at the end of the day”massage” he tried to upsell her. When I called to discuss my frustration, “Miley” was unable to assist at the front desk. I highly recommend avoiding this business at ALL COST.

Had a good membership for quite a few years. A time in my life prevented me from having monthly massages so I built up several credits. They put a freeze on my account so I could use them up and then discontinue my membership. Charging me $20 each month for nothing. I was getting down to a couple of massages and I discussed with the staff, "Now I will no longer have charges out of my checking account, correct?" twice, on two different occasions I was told, "yes you are done" Well November and December I have Massage Envy charges . I call and go to the facility and I am told I have to fill out paperwork to discontinue membership. I had told the manager way back in April '24 that I was retiring would have no income and needed to stop withdrawals from my bank. Thats when the freeze started. She did not mention paperwk. I asked that the 2 months be refunded. "Oh they can't do that. " What a racket! They charge if your out of town and go to another ME, they charge to transfer a credit as a gift, they charge for a freeze and they overcharge for the massage, and it doesn't all go to your masseuse. Which by the way, were all pretty good to pretty awesome massages. I don't fault them, I fault the business. A refund would be highly appropriate but they do not have the decency to offer that. $200 would have paid my pain pills bill. I can use up the two massages but the relief is only temporary. Sad Bad business I will never recommend and I will pass on that its a bad business you don't want to deal with.

It is the most horrible membership ever! It does rise the price with not notice, also it is almost improbable to find a real good massage therapist everywhere you go. If you book the same day you should know that you can’t cancel the appointment even a few hours previously. I have been finding a good therapist, but there is not. Your membership is not possible to cancel before a year! I don’t recommend massage envy.

I paid $125 for a 60 minute massage, which lasted barely 45 minutes. I was asked by the girl at the front desk if I prefer a firm massage, in which I answered yes. The massage therapist was nothing close to offering a firm massage. She is highly unqualified to be a massage therapist since what she offered was lackluster and criminally overpriced for her services. When I realized the massage was not 60 minutes, the girl at the front desk said the massage time starts when I walked into their office, which is the most shocking thing I have ever been told in regards to paying for a massage. The massage begins when you step foot into the massage therapists room and they set the timer. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was told that there was no manager in the office until Monday. I was told that Christine, the manager at the Pembroke Pines office would call me on Monday or Tuesday. How is it even feasible to have strong work ethics when the manager is not even showing up to do their job?

I was naive enough to trust this Platform with my hard-earned savings. In just a month, I lost $535,000. Their lack of support and professionalism were shocking. It was a devastating experience. Thankfully, I filed a complaint with a Tech smart recovery agent Mrs. Linda Smith, and she helped me recover my funds. No matter the amount involved she’s capable of helping retrieve it. I urge you to do your research before trusting any platform with your money – it could save you a lot of heartache. The manager is unapologetic for the lack of communication of their policies. Anyone answering the phone should know these policies and explain them fully to customers before we waste our money and lose our credits. I would not recommend Massage Envy.

RUN do not walk out of Massage Envy. They are only concerned about bullying you into a membership. And not just me. I gifted my daughter a day at this place and they bullied her so to the point she NEEDED a massage when she left. When I tried to end the contract I was (almost physically) forced to sign - they didn't want to hear and did not care. I can see how they can branch out and franchise, if all they want is your money and do not have the basic customer concerns for any health, mental, physical or spiritual. I have had great experiences with Spa Castle.

I think any company, or franchise such as Massage Envy, who won't listen to a person's monetary struggle, sticking to a year membership when one hasn't been once to the salon, and refusing to allow a person out of the membership even after 7 months of a monthly $70.00 withdrawal, speaks to the greed and nastiness of such a business. DO NOT BECOME A MEMBER UNLESS you plan on living a hiccup-less life because Massage Envy doesn't care if you are barely getting by. Just awful. Life is already brutal enough ... Massage Envy just told me, "too bad."

So in my prime age, I have never been told that fraud happens in all aspects even in those that you least expect or on those areas that you thought were the safest. I thought storing some of my wealth in this investment platform was safest since I get to keep the wallet safely with the known keys and seed. At least this way, my wealth grows in value as well. So apparently it took only few months and around $985,000 was gone without withdrawal enablement. This was to my utter surprise and shock cause they kept promising me to put more money! After seeing so many reviews and testimonies , I had to reach out to TheresachinRecovery INC. I had given up on everything including life itself. If not for TheresachinRecovery INC reassurance and experts whom helped me get back all of my wealth back, my mind had taken me to a really dark place. You can imagine TheresachinRecovery INC did all mind blowing and satisfying redemption in three days, I don't wish such fraud experience to anybody at all. If by chance you have fallen victim, take heart and seek help. I'll leave their info here, just incase you too need their help too Email them : t h e r e s a c h i n 1 2 1 2 @ g m a i l . c o m Call/WhatsApp: +  1  4  3  5  5  0  0  8  3  0  4

Can't give zero stars so 1 star it is. Got a membership and all was going well. Always booked out my appointments 2-3 months ahead because appointments 4pm and later are harder to get which I understand. Fast forward to the end of September when I get a message that they need to reschedule I'm thinking no problem someone is probably sick. Call back and was basically told they now have no afternoon/evening therapists and they cancel all my appointments. They will not allow me to cancel my membership so I am now being charged $70 a month for zero services. Management will not call me back after 6 calls and 2 emails. Corporate says they have no control over franchise locations. This place is basically committing fraud. Stay as far away as you can from this location.

I had an awful and frustrating experience with the Tinley Park, IL Massage Envy, trying to cancel my membership. They extend the cancellation process as long as possible. You have to cancel a month in advance. Then, you have to wait another 10 days for the Cancellation effective date in order for it to be process. The transaction is done through e-mail only. You can't cancel at the site, only electronically. I completed my cancellation forms on 9/12/2024, to cancel membership on 10/13/24. My effective cancellation date was on 10/23/2024, because they add an additional 10 days ( just because). I discovered on 11/22/24, my credit card was charged on 11/13/24. I immediately called Massage Envy concerning this issue, at 8:00 am(opening time). I was told my account was still opened, and I would be charged again on 12/13/24, because there was no record of my cancellation form. I asked to speak to the manager, but was told the manager wasn't there yet. I then decided to call credit card company to dispute the charges and closed my account, so I won't be charged again in December. I finally decided to go to the Massage Envy in-person , with my paper work to resolve error. When I got there, the manager told me she sent me an e-mail, stating, "We apologize for missing the return email with the cancellation. " Won't be doing business with this Massage Envy anymore.

I invested $17,500 here to trade based on their signals. The scammers provided me with videos of real trading based on signals, as well as screenshots of PNL. I was eager to earn the same, so I fell for it and invested the money. But I didn’t know that I was dealing with a fake broker, not a legitimate one. As it turned out, the scammers just took my $17,500 and then stopped responding and i got so worried about it, so I decided to share it out to my friends, before a friend of mine directed me to Mrs. ''' Morris Meihua '''.. she was the one who helped me recover all my lost both my profit and i was so glad, yo can also reach out to them if you are being scammed before or even finding it so difficult for you to withdraw the money which you have invested on any broker, they can help you out.... Yesterday 11/5/24 at Fairlakes location, I had the Worse experience with this company. I am old rude woman wouldn’t understand our question so he had a terrible manners and a kind Hispanic lady helped out, thank God!!! I paid facial for 1 hour and I received 30 minutes service. Customer service were explaining the membership for 15 minutes, I went in at 12:15 noon. At 12:45 the service ended, the person left me in the room and she said, that I needed to get out because she needed to clean the room for the next customer. I complained that I have paid for 1 hour. She said I had to leave. When I was waiting for my sister in the Lobby, the Manager got out of her office, started to make disgusting comments about a nice Hispanic lady that was helping out with this terrible situation. I will never go back and I do not recommend anybody to go there. The Manager should be fired for disrespecting customers waiting in front of her, disgusting comments. I wouldn’t even give 1 star 😡

The customer service at this Massage envy is horrible. The front desk people, not the therapists. The therapists are amazing. This morning I had an appointment and the place wasn't even opened. My massage therapist was waiting too. Another massage therapist showed up waiting and another customer, too. She kept texting the manager with no response at first. The front desk person who should have been there at 8:20am, Linette, wasn't answering her texts. We waited in the cold outside for 40 minutes before I decided to leave. I went over to Home Depot and then came back later and this Linette person refused to even apologize to me and tried to blame the manager. The manager wasn't there. Linette said she wasn't allowed to cancel the monthly subscription and she couldn't print out the credits that I have. She said that she emailed the manager, but I haven't heard back from the manager which I doubt I will. The last time I tried to get a hold of the manager at this site (they double billed me), I never was able to. I would leave phone messages and no one would call me back. I find it really ironic that if a customer doesn't show up to an appointment or cancels the day of, they are charged the full amount of the appointment, but the company doesn't do the same when they don't show up or cancel on the customer. I haven't even been given an apology and my appointment charge is still on the books. Needless to say, I took the time to drive all the way over there, waited 40 minutes and then still didn't get a massage. Of course I'm a little cranky.

I had an appointment scheduled and they called to reschedule. The man who called said I will note your account and we will give you an “add on” up to $15.00 for your inconvenience. I arrived for my appointment, I opened the door, and no one greeted me but I turned and walked out only because I had forgotten my wallet. This time I opened the door the lady was full of energy and said HI and proceeded to take care of me while the man did not even look up (Note: he was the one who rescheduled my appointment and noted my account). I had a bad vibe but ignored it. Once my massage started, I asked the therapist about my add-on. She ran out to ask the man and to retrieve the add-on but he said no. I said no worries. When it was time to pay, I recalled our conversation and told him that he noted my account. He asked the receptionist to check if he noted the account and she read what he wrote. He said you can use it the next time. I said what makes you think it will be a next time. He proceeded to talk about becoming a member and I said no I want to check out a few more places before I commit. I explained that I’m BIG ON GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICES AND TODAY I JUST DID NOT RECEIVE THAT FROM THE FRONT DESK.
