“I bought the masterclip with all the blades in a offer at a fair price. To replace one from Pilot because master clip had separate blades for depth of cuts Pilot mainly uses clip on combs .But the marsterclip is a lot noisier and gets really hot after ten or so minutes making it uncomfortable for short haired dogs, having to stop and cool the blade on an ice pack. Although the blades cut well.”

“Excellent clippers, brilliant selection of blades BUT I find changing those blades very, very difficult. I know how to do it and follow all the instructions. Opening to remove the blade, I always feel I will break it, its so stiff, but as for closing once I’ve put put a blade back on..........that is tortuous and can take ages to get it positioned just right (yes I do run it to get the little white bit into place) Eventually it suddenly clicks in, unfortunately by this time I am thoroughly annoyed and whichever of my dogs I happen to be trimming at the time has got really fed up and made a very determined escape attempt, often successful. I have two Mini Schnauzers and a Bichon”

“I purchased new set of clippers I've tried and tried but cant seem to get on with them the blade dont seem very sturdy when on the clippers. I'm now back to using my old switch blade clippers instead”
