“0 stars. Terrible experience. Originally booked to have mattress removed on Dec 28th after customer service verified availability. Was called roughly a day prior and informed that the driver was “still out of town” and the next available date was January 2nd. Understandable during the holiday season, but this should have been caught during the initial booking. On the 2nd, there was quite a bit of rain. The sub contractor hired by Load Up (the actual company behind this web site) decided they didn’t want to get wet and thought it was a good idea to back their trailer into my narrow drive way. Due to the angle they parked at, when they pulled out after loading the items the trailer straightened out and it’s right side wheel were dragged through my yard. This left roughly a 10 foot long 10 inch wide by 5 inch deep scar in my front yard. It looks awful. I notified Matress disposal + (load up) about it and was promptly told by “Chris” that unless I had irrefutable proof that their driver did the damage not only would they not be further investigating for an insurance claim, they also would not refund me the cost of the matress disposal for service dissatisfaction. Essentially if the driver denies they damaged your property and you don’t have irrefutable proof (a full close up video of them doing whatever), they won’t make it right. They will happily call you a liar to your face and not even refund you for the poor customer service. File this company under the list of dirtbags who don’t really care about customer service. I’d be surprised if this review even makes it to their website. 1800 Got Junk is much better. No shady sub contractors, guys are always polite.”

We do our very best to provide a quick and efficient service for our customers that is pleasant from start to finish and take great care in removing items from our customer's residence in order to avoid any property damage that may occur. Unfortunately, in this line of work, damage can happen on occasion. Our company, as well as all of our Independent Contractors, are fully insured to be able to provide a quick and easy resolution in the rare event there is damage. Our policies dictate that in these instances, we fully investigate and gather all information and evidence in order to reach a fair and ethical resolution. I have reviewed the notes on your claim and sincerely regret that we were not able to obtain the pictures requested in order to fully investigate the claim. Making sure that our customers are satisfied with our service is always our number one goal and we would love the opportunity to make it right. “Very quickly and professional drivers/pick-up crew. The only thing I wish is they could drive up my driveway versus having to walk down a large hill to bring my couch to the road.”

“I never got a call or text message that someone was on the way. Two men showed up unannounced at the house in a pick up truck. They didn't have uniforms or company ID. When I asked them about recycling the mattress they just looked at me and said they don't recycle them. They get paid $50 to pick it up and dispose of it. You got paid $95 for a mattress pick up and what I thought was recycling. It looks like you got paid $45 to call a man with a pick up truck and I got had. Word of mouth is good advertising.”

We do our best to provide eco-friendly removal for all of our customers. Although recycling is an option, we utilize other eco-friendly means too, such as donation and repurposing the material. On occasion, other options are not available and we do have to dispose of the item in a less ideal way. This is only used as a last resort when all other options have been exhausted. “Website was slightly misleading on pricing (advertising one price, with fine print saying pricing could vary by location - our quote came back $40 higher than advertised price). Still, staff responded promptly to email requests for clarification. Pickup team was on time, careful, courteous and fast.”

“Though my mattresses redirected to a different pick-up company, I'm glad I chose to go this route then have to lug two king size mattresses up the stairs myself. The gentleman (Alfonso) that picked up my disposal was very kind, very professional and courteous. I hope that everyone has a great experience like I did.”
