We placed an order online on the 29th March 2018 and as of 10th April 2018, we have neither received our shipment nor had any response from Maxwell Williams, despite two emails and one telephone call. VERY POOR customer service. We are a long time user of Maxwell Williams products and are very satisfied with their Tableware.

I ordered a range of Tint teapots, cups and jugs for Christmas presents. The lids on the teapots are wobbly and do not sit well, also the charcoal range does not match in colour across the various items. I emailed IHGL to initiate the returns process and a courier was arranged. I waited all day and they didn't arrive. A second date was scheduled by IGHL and again the couriers failed to turn up. A third date was scheduled by IHGL and yet again the couriers failed to turn up, with IHGL saying that it was a 'busy time of year for DPD'. Frankly, if a company promises something they should deliver that promise. I have sent Maxwell and Williams 2 messages through their website and have had no response. I have had no further response from IHGL. VERY poor customer service. Their 'easy returns' with 'no fuss' returns policy is a farce. I'd give this company zero stars if I could. I will not be a returning customer and will steer clear of any company using DPD as a courier service.

ORDER NO. MW046093. HAVING CAREFULLY PUT IN A CYPRUS DELIVERY ADDRESS YOUR WEB SITE CHANGED IT TOTALLY FOR SOME UNKNOWN REASON ,,,!!!!! I TRIED TO SEND YOU AN EMAIL TO THE ADDRESS GIVEN ON YOUR RECEIPT EMAIL BUT THAT WAS ALSO REJECTED .... !!! WHAT THE BLAZES IS GOING ON ??? I WILL CALL YOU TOMORROW (MONDAY) AT MY OWN EXPENSE TO TRY AND SORT OUT YOUR RUBBISH SERVICE. BRYAN MALTBY P.S. I AM NOT CHRIST0PHER SAWFORD! HE IS THE RECIPIENT, I AM THE SENDER !!

Crockery ordered for dinner party did not arrive within the 5 days advertised. Phoned to chase and was told I had to email (so why provide a phone number). Response was just that there had been high number of orders (which is not my problem) and that it would arrive the following week. Missed the dinner party. Emailed back to say it would have been helpful to let people know and express dissatisfaction but no reply. Will now have surplus crockery as it's too late. Very disappointed 😔

I emailed your customer services to complain about a red water jug that has become patchy as the red wore off. Instead of some sort of reply I found myself added to your newsletter. This was unsolicited and unwelcome. In general your products are of quality . However in this instance my water jug fell below your expected standards and I am still waiting the decency of your reply!!

I emailed you 3 times (with no replies) to try to find out the size of the glass storage jars I have bought.In the end I decided to chance they were the right size to match the ones I already have.

I wanted to give these glasses to my son who lives 238 miles away. Despite entering his delivery details (three times) goods are still being delivered to my address. Web site is rubbish - very user unfriendly. You have not even addressed the issues I raised in the e-mail I sent - just asked for this review.
