“We had a great experience with Ruth who cared for our two cats while we were on vacation. Ruth was proactive in contacting us before the booking and very responsive to all our communications. She sent texts and photos on every visit and was caring with our pets. She stayed overnight and took in packages, dealt with trash and left everything in perfect state. A great, stree-free experience. We will definitely use service again.”

“The app and website both make finding, scheduling and communicating with a sitter very easy. The price was very reasonable and cancellations - both with a refund, and one time with a credit since the cancellation was late - were handled quickly and easily. Every sitter I interacted with was quick to respond and also considerate and helpful when they were not available. In addition, I enjoy the occasional email with tips for cat care. I highly recommend Meowtel!”

“I’ve been so impressed with Meowtel from the moment I started going to them for cat sitting. At face value, Meowtel provides a robust cat sitting service: offering multiple vetted sitters in any particular area with a transparent and easy-to-use system for booking. To me, what’s even more impressive is how they operate behind the scenes. For example, when I canceled a reservation because my cat didn’t get along with a particular sitter (by no fault of her own), Meowtel reached out to me to follow up on the experience and to see if I had any lingering concerns that needed to be addressed. They take their commitment to providing quality cat sitting incredibly seriously, which I appreciate. This spring, I had a cat sitter cancel about a month before our reservation because of a family emergency. I was at work (on night shift) when I got the notification and immediately dreaded needing to stay up the following day to find another sitter. Instead, Meowtel 1) proactively recognized the issue, 2) proactively reached out to me, 3) went above and beyond in finding other sitters who could accommodate the same reservation (and confirmed with them ahead of time), 4) gave me options, and 5) did all of this within a matter of hours after the issue arose (even though it was after hours!). Their timely and comprehensive response speaks volumes about the mission of Meowtel and the wonderful compassionate people who work there.”

“As an anxious cat-owner who only wants the best for their pet, I did a lot of research before leaving her behind for the first time. Meowtel had exceptional customer service, and the sitters were so patient and charming. Everyone I spoke to made sure that any concerns I had were addressed, and the experience I had with the sitter was nothing short of incredible. I absolutely recommend using their services.”

“I only found out about Meowtel (from the veterinarian) a few days prior to my vacation and was beyond thrilled to find a cat-sitter on short notice who perfectly fit my frail, 18 year-old cat's needs! If Stephanie (the sitter I chose) is any indication of how all cat-sitters are on this website, then Meowtel will continue to be successful. I really appreciate that Meowtel has everything set up on their website. This really is a wonderful service for cat owners!”

“Meowtel truly cares about caring for cats adequately, by having an impartial review system, and also by not allowing the platform to explode with too many cat sitters, knowing that it isn't easy out there to just trust anyone with caring for our cat at our home. A cat belongs at home and not at some pet hotel in a tiny space, our cat particularly has got emotional needs as well, and Meowtel takes into account all these particular needs. Their prices are reasonable and I like supporting such a business that strives to provide the best services for caring for cats, and only for cats!”

“Needed a last minute cat sitter as our normal sitter was not available. It was easy to find someone, and Mandy did a great job. We only asked for the basics this trip (food, water, litter). But I'd use Meowtel again for longer trips.”

“Wish I found this app sooner! Elizabeth took care of our cats for 5 days and we could not have had a better experience. They were so well loved. Elizabeth’s communication through the whole process was everything we could have hoped for - from setting up the initial meet and greet to follow up after her final visit.”

“Amber was fantastic! She came by for a meet and greet before the reservations. During her time with my cats she took pictures and videos and shared them in a timely manner and gave me updates on them. When I came home the area around the litter box was clean. I will definitely be asking Amber to cat sit again!”

“I had to go to the hospital for a few days and needed a cat sitter. I took a chance on Meowtel, never having used them before. Previously I had used someone that was recommended by word of mouth when I went to Europe for a week. I was unhappy with her and wanted to try someone else. I browsed some of the sitter's profiles and decided to try a woman named Amy, who lived about twenty minutes away. I liked her profile, and she had a warm friendly face and decided I would try her. She came by for a meet and greet a few days later, and she was just as warm and friendly in person. I felt like I could trust her, and that she would take good care of my cats while I was in the hospital. Anyway, she did a wonderful job, and I felt very relaxed and comfortable knowing that my cats were in good hands with Amy. The next time I need a cat sitter, I will definitely use Meowtel and Amy. Amy was really fantastic in so many ways. I feel so fortunate that I took a chance and went with my gut. She is my go-to cat sitter from now.”

“Marissa was great to work with and she was flexible and patient as my travel schedule changed. Amazingly, by the time I got home, she was getting Smokey to engage some and working her way into a scaredy cat’s good graces. The photos and videos Marissa sent reminded me kitty was safe, happy, and cared for, so I could turn off the background worry and relax. I would definitely have Marissa back when I’m away again. I’m happy with how easy Meowtel made it to find someone who is trustworthy, caring and local.”

“Moving to Maryland, I knew nobody. Meowtel stepped in to fill the void, providing me with a verified and trustworthy cat sitter to take care of my Desdemona. not only did the new cat sitter take care of her, my cat and her are not Best Friends For life. “Anne, my cat sitter, did an amazing job, caring for my cat, Lilo. She came to visit him twice a day to feed him and sit and play with him. Unfortunately, he became ill while I was away but Anne immediately contacted me and we developed a plan for her to take him to my vet. She competently proceeding forward as needed on all decisions in consultation with me. I’m so grateful to her because my cat is now well and doing beautifully. I highly recommend Anne as a cat caregiver and I love Meowtel!!”
