“Not fit for service, I waited for the 9:04 424 in Westvale park road, 15 minutes later I called the number on the bus stop, another 10 minutes passed until they answered. They couldn't explain why my bus didn't turn up, and the next bus 422 (due in 1 minute) would be another 14 minutes. Useless.”
“Your buses 229 is always late, go out late and keeps stopping when they know there is traffic which could combine with the stops. We have connections at Huddersfield and once we miss it's another jour waiting. Today we got the 15.53 229 from Leeds Bus Station and we got in the same time as when we get the 16.23 from Leeds. Deliberately left earlier today to catch the bus from Huddersfield and missed it. Another thing why do they have to keep stopping or when they change drivers at Heckmondwike, drivers never there to take over and have to wait. Its really not good service. These drivers just do as they please.”
“I bought the tickets from Istanbul to Varna. Later on I decided to cancel the trip. There were still 18 days prior the trip. Sales people at Istanbul Bus station were kind of mocking at me. First they sent me back and forward from office 121 to 50 and back saying the the refund is done there. After everybody refused to make refund, one lady told me that the refund can be done only bt a person who issued the ticket and that person was going to be at midnight. So, she suggested coming at midnight!!! and ask the guy if he would cancel the tickets. No visible reason for this was given to me for this behavious. The girl by the desk in office 121 was frankly rude telling me all the time that it was my problem not hers that I decided to buy a ticket and then return it. Are the rules of the company as insane as the ones demanding me to come to the bus station at midnight to catch the right person to ask a refund? I have no desire to check if it was black humour or there is really somebody canceling the trips, I just want to understand is it really possible to treat clients this way?
When I tried to reach the helpline, I failed. The form on the website asks for a turkish ID as an obligatory data to send the request and the telephone line just doesn't work for foreign numbers.
I put up with loss of 70 euros, but never ever again I'm going to travel with Metro.”

“You to ride in the buses due to having car issues, but so far, I've been pleasantly surprised by the courtesy and help offered by all members of the Metro team. Friday, the 19th of April on my way to work. I unfortunately forgot to pick up my phone so that stayed on the bus while I went to work. Contacting the Crawley travel shop for some advice was super easy and very informative. Using the find my iPhone app to locate my phone, it had been handed in and was available for me to collect the following day, I really kind lady on the desk on Saturday afternoon around 5 pm. It's so kind and thoughtful she had used initiative to check the phone for battery had died popped it on charge for me know I'd have to open it to be able to receive it back.. although rubbish situation to be in it was really hasslefree and everybody was really helpful and polite, so a massive thank you Thank you, I want to see if there's any”
“A JOKE.thats what this company is. a joke. because if you’re supposed to be at my stop at. e.g 8:30 you get here at 8:30 not 8:00 or 9:00 then you cause me and others to be late and potentially told off. “These buses always take forever. It’s so annoying and when you ask why are they late, they give you a dumb excuse. It takes me quicker to walk than it does to catch a bus. And most people have to take it because they either go to work or they go school so they’re taking their time. I’ve got somewhere to be! Some people have to go school but no, they’re waiting for you LAZY ASS PEOPLE to come so we can go to school. Honestly, it’s not on. Waiting an hour for a bus. A BUS. “An absolute joke of a company! These buses are very rarely on time, they cancel some at last minute, and a lot of their drivers can’t even drive properly! Two or three times now I’ve nearly been either killed or injured by the way they throw you around the place without a care in the world. They wouldn’t know what safety meant if it smacked them in the face. There was one time where the idiot driver braked so hard that we all nearly went flying through the windscreen! And there were small kids AND elderly people on board!
As many other reviewers here have said, AVOID this joke of a bus company at all costs. Especially if you value your life!”

“Bus drivers are rude and incompetent, if the bus is late then it is your fault and not mine. You should not get offended about me asking why you are late, i understand some of the reason you are late is that there are problems with the roads and it is down to sussex highways but it is your job not mine to drive the bus and get there on time.
Don't like it get another job instead of lashing out at your loyal customers.
Allow plenty of time if you catch these buses to get anywhere, can be 10-30 minutes late far too often. if not worse.”

“A big Thank you for Metrobus today. When the bus came at 12.25 I was with my daughter who’s in a wheelchair, the bus driver told me there’s already someone else in the wheelchair area but straight away he called us a taxi, he was very very nice!!! I was really happy. It was raining and it’s Sunday so buses don’t come frequent. Than the taxi came after like 20mins. Thank you so much nice , kind bus driver hope there’s is a lot like you 👍 keep it up 👍”
“The M1 service started off impressively but has gradually, over the last few months become an appalling service. Almost every day there are 'ghost' buses that count down on the timetable then fail to appear (4 in a row on one occasion), some buses stop short on the route. As buses fail to appear the queue gets longer and buses get packed - people standing for the majority of the journey. As a non-driver I relied on this service but am now searching for an alternative. I don't blame the drivers, but this service is an embarrassment now. Dreadful.”
“ticket machines break down pretty often and you either have to be waved through or are not able to purchase a paper ticket. its not my job to have a phone ready to buy a ticket. you are a bus company the bare minimum that you can provide is the facility to print a ticket to travel on a bus service you own!
