It may feel more intense, but the official prescribing information says there is no consistent evidence that 400 milligrams provides more benefit than 200 milligrams. Headaches and anxiety also become more likely as the dose increases. Armodafinil 150 milligrams is the endurance option. Armodafinil contains the longer-lasting R-enantiomer of modafinil, so its effects may feel more persistent later in the day.
