“Order placed for a ladies swim set on 7/1/24 – paid for on that date.
Stated delivery was 22/1/24.
All good, we were going on a cruise on 23/1/24 and the swim set was going with us.
Delivery missed the due date but that’s life – it happens.
However, we returned home on 6/2/24 and the item still hadn’t been delivered – we had organised our neighbours to keep an eye out – standard procedure in our neighbourhood.
We emailed Modlily on 7/2/24 about no delivery, item was now weeks overdue.
Multiple emails sent back and forth about missing item – first they couldn’t contact their courier for 7 days to chase it up because of a public holiday, then the tracking number showed that the item had in fact been delivered to Sydney but the Australian courier had lost it (no further movement on the tracking number, ever) then we were asked to wait “more days”.
Since the item had been paid for through PayPal, we raised a claim with PayPal for a refund on 12/2/24.
Multiple emails back and forth to Modlily, PayPal and ourselves with more requests from Modlily to please wait “more days” again.
PayPal refunded our money on 11/3/24.
Would we deal with Modlily again? No!
Would we recommend Modlily to our friends? No!
Would we recommend Modlily to you who are reading this? No!
Modlily shows up on searches as Modlily Australia, but their prices are in US$.
Stay away from this seller unless you want to sharpen your email typing skills.

“Ordered 4 swimsuits, all in stock. After paying I get a delivery date of 6 weeks out. I think that's a long time but vacation isn't for 8 weeks. After waiting for 6 weeks I contact Modlily customer service and they say they will "SHIP" it tomorrow (on a sunday) which if 4 days after it should have been "DELIVERED" They say it's because they are "so popular" I call scam!! Products were in stock and you still haven't even shipped in almost 7 weeks! I canceled my order and requested a refund. We'll see if I even get my $100 USD back.”
“Ordered Feb 2, 2024 and they immediately took my money. On their website it said "processing" until I asked by chat on March 12, 2024 how much longer it was going to take to ship. Chat said they would expedite. Well 4 days later it was still processing. I cancelled my order. Today I see it takes time to get your money back. Not even sure when or if I will. Poor customer service at best! If I could give no stars I would. Frustrating experience and not even over yet because I don't have my money yet.”

“If I could give a -10 rating, I would. Ordered 3 tops on Feb 4, qualified for free shipping. On Feb 6, they told me 1 blouse was not in stock, and they put my money in an *account*. I quickly ordered another blouse to replace. They said they had already shipped the others, couldn't replace, and charged $8.56 to send it. The 1st blouses that were *shipped* spent 12 days touring around Jamaica, NY before being given to USPS to deliver. I received them, good quality, liked them, fit was good. Back to the 3rd blouse...STILL hasn't shipped...its Mar 12th...no word on when or even IF I'll get it. Sent them an email again yesterday, telling them I will dispute it with credit card company, since it showed up on my credit card statement that I received yesterday, AND will report to Better Business Bureau.
