The clothes are aimed at fashionable girls and ladies with amazing proven sales in Selfridges, Top Shop, Cult Clothing and House of Fraser, not to mention smaller independent stores...Republic and Bank are desperate to take the products for Winter! ASOS are an online retailer, but no more websites will be opened to compete with the official Motelrocks store. The hype is out there already and people want to be on board. Motel is loved by Lily Allen, Little Boots, Alesha Dixon, Shingai of the Noisettes and Peaches Geldof to name but a few.

“I love the clothes at motel rocks but it’s a shame as I’m normally a size 6-8 in skirts so I order a Xs in all skirts from Motel and they always come up huge. So then I order an Xs in dresses and they are small! Can’t Win!”

“I ordered a dress for my graduation. I live in the US and did not realize the brand was from England. When it came the dress looked nothing like the photo the quality was awful. It was super short too (my lady parts were flashing when I moved in it). I remembered the site said returns were easy and no hassle so I assumed like Princess Polly I could return for free. They charged me $22.50 USD to return the thing. Absolutely ridiculous I regret wasting my money here I just wanted a grad dress. Very disappointed. SAVE YOUR MONEY! You can order this brand on Princess Polly and not get ripped off!”

“Compré un vestido el cual no me quedaba bien y lo devolví el 12/5 esperando a que me devolviesen el dinero como es lógico. A día de hoy dicen que aún no lo han recibido en su almacén!!! He tirado 46€ de vestido más los 7€ que me costó la devolución. Está claro que nunca más voy a comprar ahí!!!”

“Horrible customer service. Cannot give full refund including shipping. Ridiculous shipping “Skynet” company used and charged crazy duties at the border. DO NOT PURCHASE from them if you live in Canada, it’s not worth it!”

“Purchased the Basta Jogger in Acid Washed Black with Angel Embro. Very comfortable and looked like the photograph, however they were made out of a low quality material that didn’t last through many washes. The material became worn and unwearable after only two months of owning them and wearing them very little. This is is unacceptable at this price, would not recommend!”

“Shipping was super fast (I’m from Germany) and I was so excited to wear the dress. Until I held it in my own hands. The fabric is just awfully thin and definitely not what I expect from a 44€ dress. This will definitely go back.”

“Clothes are ridiculously undersized. I am a UK size 10 in most stores, occasionally a UK size 8, and I can't even fit into one of their medium dresses (equivalent to a 12 according to their size guide). The problem is the length which is terribly short no matter what size you go for! Who are these designed for? Telling that they don't have any catwalk videos on their website. If you had to walk in these dresses, they'd turn into a top after two steps.”

“I sent for a top for my daughter for xmas but it was too small. I returned the top and they refused to accept the package as they said it smelled of smoke. It didnt. I objected but was told basically tough !! I then made the mistake of ordering a dress and it was again too small . I returned the dress which was in mint condition ,and yet again it was returned to me saying it smells if smoke. Im devestated ! Thats nearly 70 pounds worth of clothing i have paid for that did not fit and they will not accept back. The items do not smell of smoke at all, its just their way of getting people to buy their sub standard clothes. Absolutely disgusting !!!”

“Overall horrible service, I spent an extra thirty dollars for express shipping, i ordered my items in advance to be precautious and they will no longer arrive on time for my homecoming dance. I received an email stating my items had been flagged. I contacted their customer service and received a response that seemed to be dodging my question. I now tried to cancel my order and have received no response from motelrocks. I’m extremely disappointed with my experience and would advise you to shop somewhere else or shop with extreme caution, due to the price, quality, and time of shipment.”

“I ordered 4 dresses for an event (planned on sending the ones that weren’t amazing back). 3 of the dresses were wayyy bigger than what their sizing said, so I tried to return them but Motel Rocks only gave me the option for ParcelPoint delivery - I payed $26!!!!!!! Then I went to a post office and was told that I could’ve returned everything for just over $8!! Extremely unhappy”

“In from USA and I ordered a sun dress from this website almost a month ago. It says it takes 8-10 business days to deliver but it has been 14 business days. After all the reviews I’ve read I’m beginning to think I will never receive my item. If you’re from USA, order from ASOS or a reliable website, not this!!”

“I ordered the long leopard print skirt with the spilt and then I read the reviews, then I was really worried however, the skirt was delivered in 4 days, it is perfect and looks great . I was notified at each point of delivery from depot. I will definitely be ordering from the site again. so no need to worry . This is why I’ve given 5 stars”

“Clothing very tiny and usually very short. Material isn’t that great and also tight on larger bust sizes. Need to size up maybe one or two sizes since their clothing is aimed at tiny twig model white women. If you are a curvy I would recommend avoiding to not waste your money or just size up your regular size.”

“Made an order for two dresses from motel rocks. While waiting for them to come I read the reviews here and started to worry that I’d wasted £70. Made my order Monday night and received it Wednesday morning with next day delivery. The fabric feels good and the fit is as expected. They are quite short though. I’m 5’3 and they’re fine on me but any taller and I’m not sure. The patterns match the photos so overall I’m very happy.”

“I was very worried when I saw the reviews after purchasing - but there was honestly no need! I recently bought 4 items and they are great value for money. I purchased a T-shirt XXL and when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was actually generously sized unlike most companies with their tiny tiny sizing. The cycle shorts I bought from the sample sale fit me well and the fabric (isn't anything that you'd get from a high end company or anything) is good quality and doesn't distort when stretched which was a major concern of mine. Overall, I will be shopping there again - I would recommend to a friend!”
