“Recently, I bought a Ruriyu cobalt Donabe clay pot and fell absolutely in love with it at first sight. I vowed to take good care of it so it would last a lifetime. My routine after washing is to gently heat it over a low flame for a few minutes to ensure it dries completely. But one night, I completely forgot about it, leaving it on the hot burner overnight. Thank goodness my house is safe—and miraculously, so is the pot. I couldn't believe my eyes. I am so incredibly grateful for the craftsmanship. Unfortunately the stains would never go away but I Know this pot will last me a long time.”
