Did everything In good faith. Packaged up and sorted. Told would get a txt to give me an hour slot..fab. stayed in all day and am still waiting for someone to pick it up. I have cancelled it and told them I want a guarantee my bank details will be removed. They said they didn't have any control over the courier...fact is they should. No apology..robotic customer service. Pointless

Hello, We're sorry to learn your experience was not positive. For collections we use third party couriers so unfortunately we do not have access to the likes of time slots. All collection information comes from the courier themselves - we do not generate the text or email you receive for collection. Apologies for the inconvenience caused. Kind regards, mM CS

Quoted £175 for an iPhone 6, it is in very good condition and have photos to prove. Recieved an offer of £62 because the phone is supposedly bent, which it certainly isn't. I wish I read these reviews before using this cowboy service! I hope watchdog investigates them!

Sent them a pristine ipod touch 5. Quoted £46 and when they received it they stated it was not as described with a green border around the screen. Rubbish. The item was cherished and sent well packaged to them. Will AVOID in the future. Amateurs with rubbish customer services.

If I could rate this 0 I would. I would definitely advise reading the reviews before using this service. I sent my iPhone 6 off to sell and I was quoted £140. I had an email saying they had received my item but it was not as described and was apparently faulty and had dropped the price to £49. This is not the case because my phone was in perfect working condition when I sent it off. The phone is only a year old and apparently my phone was famously 'liquid damaged' as I learnt from reading the reviews they seem to use this for every phone they receive. I would not recommend this company it's an absolute joke!

Have ordered three CDs from this company, the same one twice. Each time they take the money and several days later refund it because the items were too damaged to sell. This after they say that they have passed rigorous tests before being put up for sale. I have contacted them about this but get a very glib response saying they hope I will use them again, some hope!

I was quoted a price of £ 280 for an iPhone 6 in good condition. Said phone was less than one year old and like new, really well looked after. MusicMagpie claimed the phone was not as described as it had "liquid damage ". Absolute rubbish ! They said it was only worth £ 150. I asked them to send it back to me. I subsequently sold it on Amazon for £320. What a bunch of lying c***s. Take your custom elsewhere folks.

Sent my iPhone 6 off as I was quoted I would get 179 quid for it. I looked after it well during it's lifetime it was always in a case and had protective glass over it. It worked as well as the day I got it. They then sent me an email saying my phone was bent and would only offer 70 quid! I rejected the offer as I found it insulting.

Ive never reviewed a company before but i do not wish for others to waste their time like i did. I tried to sell my phone to them, they advertised they would offered around £70 for it, under the belief this was a fair offer I sent it to them. After all my phone was in good condition. Once they received they offered me £18 on the grounds it was faulty, they did not tell me how so I had to email (they said the screen resolution was faulty and the camera was grainy). Not true. I asked them to send it back. I ended up selling the phone for £77 to the next company I went to. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

My iPhone 5s was in perfect condition, I was offered £60 for it. I just received an email saying they are reducing the payment to £21 because of water damage. I know the phone was fine up until me packaging it up and sending it off. I am absolutely furious! Do I accept the less amount or ask for the phone back and risk getting it back broken like these previous reviews have said. Gutted that I didn't look at any reviews before doing this. Don't use these scammers!

This was the worse experience I've had from a company!! I waited 3-4 weeks for my money after they received my phone on the 12 August, they say you can have your money on the same day they receive and clarify the product! This was unacceptable, I emailed them countless times about my issue and all they replied 'the money will be in you account in the next 24hrs' which never happened! Then they said they was a problem transfering it in to my account so tried my PAYPAL 5 days later there was a problem putting it in that too! Eventually I got a cheque through, I'm hoping that clears as I'm putting it in today!

As the name suggests 'Magpie' and what do Magpies do? They steal shiny things. Music magpie operate on a similar basis, obviously they do not steal, but they will attempt to obtain your shiny things at as smaller price as possible!

Like the majority of reviews, my mobile was quoted at one price but then the offer was significantly less because of alleged damage to the case, which I can absolutely advise was not the case because the phone was brand new and had never even left the box before I sent it. Just a bunch of cowboys who will most likely sell the goods for top dollar having purchased them for a minimal amount if the offer is accepted.

Stay away from this cheating bunch. I sent an iPhone to them in excellent condition. Had been offered £45 from Carphone Warehouse who advised I would probably get more somewhere else. MM offered me over £60 prior to receipt of my iPhone. On receipt they messaged me to say the phone was not in the condition as described and then offered me £21. I asked for the phone to be returned and it was returned with severe damage - completely useless now. When I complained they responded that they had never had an order from me. Disgusted.

Scanned my items and was given estimate. Sent them off and the value paid was reduced by about a third. No indication of which items didn't meet their standard and no response to my email. Smells like a con.

Customer service is basically non-existant or very ignorrant. I bought the wrong item on amazon and cancelled it three minutes later. With the excuse that it was out of office hours the seller ignored my cancelation and shipped the item instead. Since I am an international customer it would cost me more postage to return the item than the item is worth. I would not buy there again.

I ordered an iPhone 6 Plus from music magpie. I paid an extra £50 for one in "very good condition" as this guaranteed it would be in perfect working order (although everything they sell should be!). As soon as I turned the phone on, the screen started glitching and was unresponsive. It was also scuffed and dirty. I contacted MM who emailed me a returns label promising a replacement. I returned the phone the next day. Two weeks later I receive my "replacement" phone which has the exact same scratches as the first one! I contacted MM who admitted that they had repaired it rather than replacing and tried to tell me that this was the same thing. At first the phone appeared fine but as soon as I had loaded my data from the cloud the screen jammed. In addition, the mic does not work for calls or Siri and it has sent several texts and one email of random gibberish. The phone is such a liability that I have had to turn it off. MM were unsympathetic and would offer no compensation other than another "replacement". As this would mean that I would have to do without a phone for another 2 weeks I have ordered a phone from another company and will have to try to get a refund from MM. Disastrous customer service - one of my worst retail experiences.

iPhone 6. 16gb. Extremely low usage phone had always been in an armoured case. Offer rejected - the case was bent. Total rip off. My photos prove it.
