“You allowed nine spaces for service number. My service number from the 60’s is 10 digits.”

Hi Larry, Thank you for your review. Our tags do accommodate longer service numbers. Our templates for the period of 1975-2015 however are set up for the SSN (9 digits) as they were used on dog tags. We have templates for other periods like the 60s which are formatted for the 10 digit service number including the prefixes. During the customization step you can also change or add information as needed. Have emailed you directly to see about making you a new set of tags that include your last number. Thank you for your military service.

“I ordered a pair of WWII notched Dog Tags and then compared them with my original ones. My Dog Tags are right on the mark for looking like originals. Workmanship and quality are of the high Museum grade.”

“The best service”

“The choices of types and materials of available dog tags, available fonts, silencers and attachment accessories far exceed those on any other website. The MyDogTags website is amazingly intuitive and easy to use and it provides an excellent preview function of the dog tags you want to order. These hardware and software features are coupled with the best and most professional customer-centric service I have ever experienced with any online business. MyDogTags even sends a 'preview' email after you place an order so you can actually see how your dog tags will be printed and make a final spelling and layout check. Shipping charges are always reasonable and delivery only takes several days. I am a frequently repeating customer of MyDogTags and have never been less than exceptionally satisfied with their nonpariel products and service.”

“Was disappointed. The engraving was very small and did not resembled my original tags at all”

Hi Donald, Thank you for your review. Our dog tags are made with the same size lettering as the US military has always used. There have been some bases over the years that end up with civilian embossing machines that use larger print than the standard military font. This is very rare though. Depending on when your original tags were issued they were probably debossed, meaning the letters are pressed into the face of the tag. The tags you ordered are embossed which are a lot easier to read however they will look a lot different than the older debossed style. We have lots of options to make dog tags that best match what you and other veterans were originally issued. We will contact you directly to see how we can make you a set of tags that matches your original tags. Thank you for your military service.

“I was hoping the vietnam indicator was an actual dogtag, not a sticker. As far the stamping of the dogtags A++++, just the sticker was a let down.”

Hi Ray, thanks for your feedback. Our website clearly describes that product as a decal/sticker. We would be happy to refund you the 99 cents you paid for it. Sorry but we do not carry pre-printed Vietnam Service ribbon dogtags.
