“It's my second or third order, and this time the tags came in with a typo each. Customer Service immediately replaced them, no issues. Can't stress how great this company is and am advertising their products to everyone I know. Both my personal and military id discs are flawless!”

“Dog tags were printed as ordered; however, I did not realize the debossed lettering would be so difficult to read, and so small. For this reason, I am rating it a three-star.”

Hi Diane, Indeed the tags you ordered have debossed text, where the characters are pressed into the metal. Debossed text was originally meant to be used to make carbon copies of the soldier's information onto medical records. It is harder to read which is why the military changed to using embossed text, which is much easier to read. Many of our veteran customers or their families will choose to have tags made using embossed text. Even though it is not historically accurate to the original tags they are recreating they prefer the ease of reading. “I’ve ordered two sets because the first time i didn’t get the notch that’s on the WW2 tags . The new tags are more authentic except i used the script from the gravestone. When I find out his blood type i’ll be ordering a third set. They are friendly and helpful. I’m extremely satisfied. I Highly Recommend this company.”
