Hi Gary, a tracking email was sent to you within 24 hours, not an actual confirmation of delivery. Nevertheless your order was indeed delivered a few days later according to USPS. We encourage you to review the actual dogtags and leave feedback, thanks!

Hi Peter, We have no record of an email or phone call from you, how did you try to contact us? Furthermore, we do not offer colored logo printing on dogtags, only black and white laser engraving. Perhaps you have us confused with a different company?

They alright for replacement... they are not as thick or have the original "feel" to an issue dogtags.

I lost my original dog tags when I was in the Air Force. The difference is the font and size of the printed information. Unless the dog tags have changed over the years this is a cheap reproduction of the original.

Hi David, Thank you for your review. It sounds like our debossed font is a better match to your original tags than the embossed tags your ordered. Embossing has been the military standard for years however many bases will continue to use their existing machines and issue debossed tags. Please email us at support@mydogtag.com to see about getting tags that match your expectations.

Was hoping the tag would resemble the one my dad got from the Navy WWII. It doesn't. It is thin, different metal, engraved vs his was embossed. The chain he had was flat steel and the one that was issued with these tags are round ball type and the locking mechanism doesn't work. My dad's had a connection that had a round metal loop and pinch in type chain like regular jewelry chains. Also, didn't know my Visa card would be charged international fees. Not happy.

Hi Mary, We are very clear in the website that our WWII Navy dogtags are replicas that are laser engraved and not stamped. You yourself even acknowledged this when you left feedback before paying, so it is dissapointing that you are upset.Nevertheless the quality of our WWII Navy tags are of high quality unbendable stainless steel. The chain that you are referencing is called a curb chain with j-hook which we do not currently carry since they are hard to source. We are indeed located in Canada, however we do not charge any extra fees, although a small handfull of unethical banks do. We are sorry that we did not meet your expectations, however the fact is we don't know if any other company that offers anything even similar. We appreciate your father's military service and regret that we cannot provide 100% identical copies of what he would have received in the 1940s.

The thickness of the tags was disappointing. Sorta like heavy duty tin foil.

Not very pleased with quality of material used.Metal looked and felt like a tin can. Chain was also made of very flimsy material. Was not expecting same quality as original, but a little better tan this.

Hi Richard, Thanks for your feedback. Our blank tags and chains are made in the USA of military-spec 304 stainless steel.

Cheaply made. Not very authentic.

opefully the replacement is correct and arrives soon. We received an extra tag because it was missing some of the writing. The one with the correct information wasn't centered properly and the writing on the front and back were covered by the plastic ring around the tag. It been promised a replacement but am not sure when it will be shipped. Had hoped for a better quality of metal, it is rather flimsy.

These are NOT the steel dog tags of the 40s. They are made with the aluminum like the modern tags. They will look like the originals from 10' away though. But I didn't want the flimsy clanking aluminum. /Edit It was pointed out these tags are indeed steel, but they are not the same thickness and durability of the original WWII tags I received from a friend as a collectable. I wanted a personalized set so purchased these. They are similar quality of my more modern (1990s) dog tags and NOT what I wanted of WWII Dog tags.

Hi Sherman, Our notched WWII style Dogtags which you ordered are INDEED made of stainless steel (not aluminum as you suggest). That said, original WWII era dogtags were sometimes made of monel (a nickle and copper alloy) which we do NOT sell. Out notched tags are STAINLESS STEEL!

Hi Allan, it seems that you did not actually choose the (free) silencers with your tags. Please see your proof image for confirmation. Please send us an email and we would be happy to send you some for free.

I thought they would be hard metal like my original dog tags but they are aren’t. Otherwise nice

Hi Sharon, thanks for your feedback and your military service. Our Dogtags are made according to modern military specifications using 304 stainless steel. Depending on when and where you served the tags that you were originally issued may have been slightly thicker which made them seem like a harder metal. Rest assured our tags will last a lifetime.
