Abysmal Courier. Avoid at all costs. Had my parcel at Maidstone depot for 8 days. Three separate dates they said they’d deliver giving a 2hr window. No delivery attempts made. Do not use this company unless you’re happy to get delivery by Christmas 2021!

They failed to deliver my parcel on the first attempt, the tracking app saying 'Your courier has had an issue with getting to the delivery address.' (It's a house, on a street, nothing difficult about it). I tried to arrange for a safe space for the 2nd delivery - they only offer pre-selected drop downs with no additional info box. On the day of the 2nd delivery, I received a text saying my delivery window was that afternoon. I rushed back from work and waited. No delivery attempt was made. No tracking was updated. Today I tried to call their help number where you just get a robot who wants your tracking number. It said my parcel is with a courier. I asked to speak to an advisor. It said I can't. Dead end. I'm not convinced I'll receive this package, and it's not the first time I've experienced the terrible service they put their customers through. I would actively recommend businesses to avoid using Hermes since it will damage your customer relationships and ultimately reflect badly on you.

This is the message on Hermes tracking for a next day delivery 10:21 - Mon We're sorry your parcel has been delayed, we'll have it on the move in the next 24 hours Today is Thursday and still waiting on an attempted delivery.

Hermes customer service reality: I paid extra money for next day delivery. First, they rescheduled. Then, I got a message that my parcel was delivered and when I checked the photo it was not from my house. I had to spend 4 hours at home waiting for this parcel and now I dont even have it. They are supposed to have delivered it at 19:16. When I tried to contact with them, I saw that their working hours are 8 to 18.00. How is it possible for a customer to contact with them when he faces a problem when the call centre is closed? I needed that parcel tonight. In the end of the day, I'm not just sad that I didn't receive it ,but completely disappointed with the whole customer experience.

Left two missed delivery notes (one with no information). When I try to check the delivery using the online service it says no info available. No phone number to call ... just a stupid bot that only asks set questions Worst company ever

The very worst business experience of my entire life. Every sibgle parcel I sent was damaged. Not only do Hermes not compensate for valuable items being destructed, they don't even offer a free delivery. The 'service' us cheap for a reason they could not care one jot about the customer. I doubt if they care about their staff either and tghat is probably why the parcel are damaged. Do not waste 1 penny on this disgraceful set of rip offs.

said they had a fail to deliver at a time I was waiting at the front door, no note left, then the day after send an email about when it was actually going to be delivered. There was no email on the day that there was a fail to deliver. If you can't do next day delivery dont say you can. Scam Artists.

They knocked on my door and immediately entered my property uninvited. I was a single mum home alone. Not acceptable ! There is no number on the calling card to contact Hermes or arrange redelivery. The app is useless. I will jot be ordering anything to be delivered by them again.

They was 3 days late picking up my parcel and then lied and said I wasn’t home when I waited in all day and then lied and said they couldn’t deliver it because no one was home when in fact it was being delivered to a Sainsbury’s store and now 2 weeks after they was supposed to collect it they’re sending it back to me. You really couldn’t make this up what a joke of a company.

Hermes insurance policy : lost a parcel £270 paid 25.19 for insurance and didn't even pay out. Customer service advisors don't give a **** about there customers next point off contact is ombudman and trading standards.

I spent £2.99 on a return package only to realise there was no drop of points locally. I sent it with royal mail instead. So I went back to my hermes to get my money back and 3 months later of 15 live chats, 20 phone calls and 25 emails they still wont give me my money back. I dont care about the money, it's the principle. Will never use them again

Avoid this company at all costs I was… Avoid this company at all costs I was one of their customers and they lost so many packages do not refund the ones they lost easily. The customer service is a zero and this is how they treat their customers their staff Are demoralised I have reported this now to Ofcom the regulation body we have now stopped using them and are taking them to court to get our money back. Demand your Currier to use a good Currier service cheap and nasty is not the way to go

I sent a parcel through MyHermes at the end of November last year, a hand drawn lettering print (framed) and a cardigan for my friend's child. It was a surprise and after about 2 weeks, I wondered if maybe she hadn't got it as I never heard anything from her, then Christmas was upon us and to be honest, I forgot! She was away, and then I sent her a card through the post around late January/early February she got in touch and said she hadn't received anything. I went on my account which said it was out for delivery still as it was too large for the first courier. I tried to use the chatbot and went round and round in circles, until it finally told me that the parcel may have been lost, they'd look into it and let me know. I was emailed the next day to be told it was, and that I could claim compensation - except I couldn't because the contents (and pretty much everything else you can think of sending) were on their 'non-compensation' list. This is not the first time I and my partner have had issues with MyHermes, delivering late, leaving in bins/on the doorstep/in our back garden with no note (and despite us saying it's not a safe place), and parcels that are 'signed for' but have never reached the recipient. We don't use them very often but this was the last straw. To be honest, I am really not sure what stops the drivers claiming that they have delivered the parcels and then keeping them as MyHermes don't seem to care at all. DO NOT USE THEM!

Ripping off people by asking to make additional insurance and never pay their compensation when damage occur. their excuse is that the items are fragile and it is not covered under their policy and you are sending the item on your own risk, It is bazaar! Where is the FCA and the ombudsman. STOP using them, let them bankrupt!

Had a delivery from Hermes 7th Feb. They didn't knock or ring the bell, first I knew was seeing it on my PC as having been delivered, I then went out to look for it, they'd just left it in front of the house, any passing scrote could have helped themselves to it. No note thro' the door to say it had been left or where.

Do not use them, They have lost a £600 parcel, saying stuck at depot, when its known the courier has clearly stolen it. Its been twice ive had problems of "missing" packages as soon as they reach depots. Investigations mean nothing, if you are to send something over £200, insure it, im sure they'll take it more serious if money will be coming out of their pocket...

Worst service ever the driver are not bothering to deliver the parcel and the lie that customer is not in the house i got my 2 order cancel because the driver never deliver the parcel while i was in the house and waiting for my parcel o even left the instructions for the driver to out the parcel in my bin but they never visited my place and said i am not in Disappointed and annoyed the Hermes never helped out all they said we will make sure the driver deliver your parcel worst never using this service again

My hermes NEVER deliver on time, sometimes over a week passes and they're still not recieved...In fact half the time the parcels do not even show up and are 'lost in transit'. How many parcels can one local driver lose before they're investigated? You can't speak to anyone about it as their website is a forteress of links to F.A.Q's and no live chat avaliable and being on hold for over half an hour to speak to someone over the phone isn't ideal when I work shift work and late evenings and early mornings. Terrible.
