They are the worst company in the entire world! Do not send anything with them or buy from a company that uses them. I literally pulled out my hair wanting to speak to someone about some fraud. Their delivery personnel fraudulently forged my signature and pretended thay I had received it when I was not even at home. I wanted to complain about this, but all I got was a stupid robot and no human to speak too. Honestly the worst company ever!

courier. Tracking said my parcel would be delivered at a specific time and date. Waited in and when the allocated time had passed checked the tracking when it said ‘there appears to have been a problem trying to deliver your parcel’. Could find any contact details for Hermes other than an online chat so I started one, when I asked where my parcel was this was their reply ‘ ‘I can see the courier was unable to gain access to enter the place and there is restriction on access at this address like access code requirements, non availability of parking or paid parking, presence of ferocious animals like dogs, I request you please provide us with access code and telephone number to share with the courier’. An absolute lie, we live in a residential area, no parking restrictions, large drive with no gates so access simple, we do not own or do any of our neighbours a ferocious animal. I then requested parcel be left with neighbour the next day as we would be out, where did the silly courier leave it...on the front door step in the pouring rain and in full view of pedestrians. I emailed the company I lurched the goods from and strongly complained about Hermes. I also gave a bad survey and will not this dreadful company or any other supplier that uses them, liars from the online chat to the courier.

I was out today when Hermes attempted delivery. Tracking information said I signed fir it which I did not. Card that was left was not filled in properly and item was left with a car owner?? Looked for the item everywhere but nothing left. Not impressed by Hermes. Will seek reimbursement from seller as I haven’t received the item

Same thing that happened to me has happened to almost everyone on here. Awful service and when I confronted the driver who forged my signature and said it was delivered, she just shrugged her shoulders, said she was busy that day and gave me attitude. That probably annoyed me more than the parcel being 3 days late. Anyway, awful service, stay far away.

Item said that it had been signed and delivered, however I had not received or signed for anything. Nothing was left with the neighbours and there was no response from Hermes in regards to this. 3 days later after still no response I found it behind my apartment in the bin area, wet. No idea what stopped them from knocking on my door and handing it to me the normal way. Awful service, stay away.

It took 4 days for my parcel to be collected. They refused to take it one day as he had a full van. Another day they forged my signature and left two parcels in the rain in the drive and still didn't collect my parcel. I use ebay to sell and do not want negative feedback for poor delivery when it is out of my control. I will never use hermes again and advise anyone I know not to use their service. You cannot talk to anyone and they like to fob you off with excuses. Please avoid this company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Good afternoon , Regarding parcel number: 5516295245906687. Thank you for contacting us at Hermes. I am so sorry for the confusion caused. First of all, please allow me to clarify what has happened with this parcel. On the 05/02/2020 - the courier had the parcel out for delivery but noticed that the parcel was clearly damaged. Therefore, he returned the item to the depot. Unfortunately, at the time, the courier was working from a paper manifest, this means he did not have a scanner with him to produce live updates on the tracking system (this is very rare). So, when the courier returned home, they logged into their courier website and entered the outcome of each delivery. It is evident now, the courier made a mistake when inputting the outcome of your delivery. Please be kindly advised, when we had previously advised you this was delivered via the letterbox, we were not lying to you, we were simply providing you with the information available to us. Also, you state that it would not have gone through the letterbox, again - we were not aware of what the contents were, if we did know - this would have been questioned. The item then entered our 'Undelivered Parcel department within the depot where it was assessed for the damage. Items that are sent via our network are sorted at our national sorting hub and depots via heavy machinery and conveyor belts and unfortunately, in this circumstance, your item was damaged due to this. Due to the time frame since the last scan (06/02/2020 20.45) we knew at this point a depot sweep was needed in an attempt to locate your parcel, this is why we requested the contents. Once we were provided this information, it was sent to the depot to conduct a sweep. Unfortunately, the depot have now confirmed they have not been able to locate the item and therefore we would now need to presume the item as lost. Unfortunately, as you are a customer of the sender, and not a Hermes customer directly, we would be unable to reimburse you the lost funds (due to contractual reasons) therefore, please contact the sender so they can raise a claim with ourselves. Hermes do accept full responsibility for the loss of the parcel, its just (as I said above) due to contractual reasons we cannot refund you directly. I apologise for the fact you feel you have been lied to - this is not our intention at all. Please be assured that I will raise all relevant feedback to the correct departments to ensure further training is provided and any necessary action is taken. I do apologise for the inconvenience caused. Someone forged my signature on a non-delivery. I complained to Hermes via Resolver and got nowhere! BUT! Here are the stock phrases Hermes will use to fob you off and the number of times each phrase was repeated over ONE complaint. Enjoy: HERMES AND THEIR BOOK OF EXCUSES. These are the trite stock phrases that Hermes uses to fob off complaints without bothering to respond to the original issues. All these phrases were used verbatim to evade answering ONE complaint: the number of times they were used is given at the end of each phrase. "If I were in your shoes, I think I would feel the same. I agree that this is not a good one for us. I assure you that we will definitely try to improve our services as we do not want to disappoint loyal customers like you." 10 "As you are the recipient of this parcel and not the sender I ma (SIC) unable to assist you further." 3 "I apologise on behalf of Hermes for the inconvenience this has caused." 17 "We accept that this is not the outcome you were hoping for, however, we do offer cover to assist in this situation and we will happily support you through the process of making a claim." 5 "We are sorry that despite an extensive investigation, we have not been able locate your parcel as it was lost in transit." 19 "I understand that you are not happy with this situation." 10 "Firstly, may I take this opportunity to sincerely apologise for the frustrations and inconvenience you have been caused throughout this issue and for the delay in response." 15 "As we are not doing this intentionally we would love to help you regarding your situation but unable to help you as the parcel was booked through the retailer. Kindly get in touch with the retailer for further assistance". 5 "We usually provide a better service than this. At times, we do fall short to serve our customers. Parcel 3 days late, contact lines are terrible with no help Just repeat that the parcel will be delivered at some point no a actual answer as when even though your days over your delivery date.. Still to this day I do not know where my parcel is..... I will be avoiding companies who use this service from now on

Awful service! I can't believe how often they get it wrong! Ordered many items before Christmas through various sellers who then use Hermes. My parcels went missing, delivery notes say items have been dispatched and delivered and signed for when it's not the case. Deliveries frequently left on my doorstep instead of knocking on the door - I know this because I was in the house when it happened! My husband has just made an order this week on ebay and delivery was supposed to be on Weds. According to Hermes they've delivered it and it's been signed for yet we've not received the item and I was in all day! They are just terrible. If I knew a supplier was using delivery method of Hermes, this would defo deter me from purchasing the item. I can't actually believe how bad they are!

Would rate 0/5 if I could. Please be warned about the horrendous 'service' provided by My Hermes. I used their courier service recently to send gifts to a friend. When the parcel did not arrive I tried to follow up to find out what had happened. It took several days to speak to someone directly on the phone as the telephone number provided was initially answered by an automated voice stating the tracking service was not available and answers to any queries could be found on the website, alternatively email them. The call was then hung up. The email address came back mailer error. When I eventually spoke to the customer services dept I was informed my parcel had become damaged whilst in their care and they had destroyed it. I was emailed a link to make a claim but My Hermes have continued to dodge responsibility for their actions and are refusing to compensate me despite my having paid extra for additional insurance. I was promised a manager would call me back when I insisted on making a formal complaint - that was 20 days ago and I am still waiting. I have never left a negative review in my life but want to warn others against using this company and risking a similar outcome.

You need to make it easier to get things delivered. Easier to contact someone. I apparently missed a delivery even though I was at home. I specified parcels to be left with a neighbour and the delivery driver basically threw then into my neighbours garden. Into the garden during a storm. These parcels were Jeans and needed washing before they could be worn. Not sure why, if the driver was going to just throw them in a garden in the rain, why he didn't throw them into the delivery address' garden namely MINE!!! Rubbish service after I paid £100 for 2 pairs of jeans from the USA they ended up wet and muddy in a neighbours garden. Very Poor

Their tracking system keeps saying they attempted delivery, when they haven't - been all day at home. This is not the first time this happens, and they do not provide for a proper complaints procedure or anyone to look into the issue. I would give a zero if I could

What a poor service I paid for my delivery to come on Wednesday they came on Monday and Tuesday Wednesday I hate selected for them to leave the parcel outside they have now returned my parcel back to the sender absolute joke there's no way of interacting with anybody I haven't received the confirmation email to say that my parcel will be left in the outer building this did not happen just poor service all round.

Is it possible to have a zero star rating this company is an absolute JOKE ..... AVOID AT ALL COST...... they fob you off with different stories as to why you parcels haven't been sent to a shop and then when you speak to someone else all I get is were investigating the issue but yet items are needed for a certain day and yet order in plenty of time and still no good can anyone anywhere to order online and not have this company deliver

Literally couldn't organise a piss-up in a brewery. Today is Thursday and my last update is from Monday saying my package would be there in 24 hours and it hasn't arrived yet. I've never once had a good experience with Hermes and try to avoid stores that use them, unfortunately you often dont find out until after you've placed an order!
