Hopeless delivery service. Parcel always gone missing with dodgy delivery photos which mean nothing showing ‘delivered’. Zero confidence in ever receiving anything from them.

They delivered my package to the wrong house, then claimed they'd delivered it to me when I raised it with customer service. They pointed to a photo of the delivery with a woman with a completely different skin tone to my own accepting the parcel. She does not live at my place. They could not tell me where they had delivered it. And when I pressed, they basically told me they weren't going to help me anymore and if I had a problem, I should contact the retailer who used them. Zero responsibility. Absolutely appalling.

This is the worst service possible I have been told my parcel for return will be picked up twice it’s still here when I track it it says they have picked the parcel up and is on its way to sports direct. It hasn’t the parcel is still here. And I tried to call and speak with a person but it’s impossible. I would give 0 stars if the system allowed.

Absolutely the worst service ever and the robot is a joke, trying to speak to a real person is impossible!!!!! Oh and my parcel has been delivered to an empty house next door despite us having a number on our door !!!!!!!!!!

Absolute joke of a company, I shall be doing some homework before ordering anymore goods and shall NOT order anything else from ANY company that uses these fools. No parcel....Didn't try and deliver, this was an outright lie...No customer service and if I could give less than 1 star in my review then I would. You my friends are a waste of oxygen. And I wish your company untold losses and bad luck !!!! (I have zero problems ordering worldwide but these fuckwits can balls up a local order, go figure?)

Appalling. I buy about 6 or 7 items a week online shipped by package delivery companies. For every five items I buy that are shipped with Hermes, I get three of them. The others go missing but are marked as being returned because I rejected them which is an outright lie. Its been a lockdown, I'm in, where else am I going to be, no one comes to my door to deliver them. We have CCTV on the front door, the Hermes delivery man must be invisible! All the other delivery companies deliver faultlessly, never had one go missing. Of the Hermes ones that get marked as returned not a single one has ended back with the seller. It's caused so much grief as I collect rare items, once they're gone, they're gone and they're gone for the seller too. I report this every time and I've complained to Hermes and had absolutely zero response. I can't give you a barcode Hermes, I'm the buyer all I get is an eight digit tracking number. I'm prepared to believe that it's a local issue but Hermes sort it out! I now have to instruct sellers not to ship Hermes or I won't buy.

I have had three messages from Hermes on three separate days stating that the driver has problems with the delivery address. It also states, 'not to worry, we'll deliver again tomorrow.' It is impossible to talk to anyone as the phone line is automated and it is also an automated chat on their web site which is worse than useless. I have no idea what their problem is yet that have my telephone number to call. If anyone from Hermes reads this, or is in the least bit interested about service, they should know that I have contacted the online store (Dunelm) stating that I cannot make any further purchases from them as their chosen courier service is so utterly unreliable.

No delivery, No help, No contact available - worst customer service that I've ever come across. It's just an automated system clearly designed to frustrate the user and to force them into giving up on their enquiry. There is clearly something very unscrupulous about the way this company operates and no doubt we'll read about it in the local news someday. I'm going to see if the local trading standards department can help.

Not even worth 1 star. Terrible service. Can't contact them. When you use their automated (stupid Holly) never get a reply. Worse service ever. I will never buy anything again that supposed to be delivered by Hermes. Unless I am prepared to wait a week, for next day guaranteed delivery. Ha what a joke

Ordered some high end batterys. Not standard from China. Seller used hermes. Hermes received the items on 16th March . 23rd March they had a problem and would despatch in 24 hours. Now 4th April still no batteries

Horrible company I started to use this company due to the expensive royal mail costs but the lost and broken deliverys are far to many and don't bother trying to claim its horrendous processes switching back to royal mail

I used Hermes through packalink ebay paid extra for enchanced insurance for loss or damage at the sale price of £280 .it was not delivered and 30 days later it was returned damaged. Hermes website phone chat are all automated no help or claim form for damaged parcels. Hermes in misselling insurance because it doesn't exist

Was trying to return a parcel to a company. It was worth around £250. Hermes collected fine, then next day tracking changed to “action needed contact sender”. This is not very useful as I am the sender! Since then have been trapped in a loop of absolutely useless online chat which is just a bot that offers no help whatsoever, an incident raised that had been ignored, and a number that I have yet to get through to a person ok (because it won’t accept my tracking number, even though it works on the Hermes website. If I say I don’t have a tracking number it just says then it can’t help and cuts you off!) Genuinely at a loss now of where to go. The items were actually Xmas presents that were being exchanged for a different item so I’m really really angry at this. Literally the very worst delivery company. This isn’t the first issue - a month or so ago they allegedly delivered our coffee pods from nespresso but They didn’t. Raised an incident through Hermes - again no response. We actually have CCTV and I checked it for the time (and the hour before and after) they said they delivered it and they never turned up! Absolute liars.

AVOID IF POSSIBLE BUT WHAT DO YOU DO IF YOU ORDER THROUGH DEBENHAMS BUT THEY DONT ADVERTISE THEY ARE USING HERMES?! Sorry Debenhams but you really need to change your delivery company! Hermes said they “attempted delivery” at 7.30AM! Of course they didn’t though! We were here and up! NO CALLING CARD LEFT (surprise surprise) so cant track it but want me to pay AGAIN for re-delivery! NO THANKS I WOULD RATHER HAVE THEM RETURN MY PARCEL ON PRINCIPLE!

AVOID AT ALL COST! I sent 3 parcel for the first time with Hermes, the first one the buyer claimed the parcel was delivered empty. I notified Hermes Straight away and I was told to open a case for undelivered item, I requested for Proof and photographic evidence of my parcel being delivered, I reported the incident to action fraud, on my second phone call to Hermes the Agent called Adrian told me that on this occasion the driver did not take a photo of the parcel but that same driver delivered a parcel couple of weeks prior to the same address and he has taken photo evidence, I emailed again and made more phone calls the only response I got was that someone will contact me in 28 days. I continued calling still no response. After a month I received an email saying that the parcel has been delivered. I requested photographic evidence of the delivery which they couldn’t provide and decided to close my case within 24 hours!!!! On Hermes website clearly states “ when you answer, the courier will take photo of the parcel in the open doorway as a proof” To me this is a misleading and mis-selling to the customers as clearly they do not take such evidence! how disgraceful!!!! They took my money and my item!!! The second parcel Which they couldn’t deliver I requested three times over three weeks to be sent back to me....I’m still waiting for the parcel. No one appears to know where my parcel is. Extremely disappointing and very appalling customer service you cannot speak to a real person. IF YOU REALLY VALUE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR ITEMS DO NOT USE HERMES. Please check on Hermes side “Complaints Department” and you will be Disgusted with the amount of complaints that Hermes doesn’t even bother to reply.

Terrible company. Do not use to send a parcel. Still waiting for Hermes to pick up a parcel I paid to be collected 3 days ago. Call them 3 times regard this and I am not getting anywhere. I have had to sit in awaiting collection for 3 days. Terrible service. I will not be using them again.

I have had really bad experience with my order not being sent after 1 month of trying to get hold of someone. The automated customer service is so poor. I was refunded the cost of delivery but my item has been lost. It was for a special occasion.... The service is so poor. I am still trying to allocate the item after a month?
