The worst courier firm, hands down. I always warn customers not to use Hermes, but sometimes they have already done it, thinking they have saved some money. There are cheaper better couriers anyway, but it's a false economy as the items don't usually get delivered. I think they have lots of cheap, part-time deliverers, doing it at odd times outside their normal job, as the deliveries are always odd times like 7am or 9pm. Useless when trying to deliver to business addresses. And they always try to deliver three times at exactly the same time, even when the building has opening hours outside. How thick is that? Then the package disappears back at the depot for weeks before getting lost or returning to client, to use another courier firm. And you can't contact them - everything is automated messages. I cannot express how much I despise this scam business.

Terrible company, simply no customer service. Continue to lose parcels that are returned to companies. They give you a string of worthless numbers they a tracking number before stealing your returned goods. Then shut up shop on you. Because they have no customer service or care stay well away from this company. Think this company needs looking into my Martin Lewis and the poor quality shared

Hermes have not delivered two parcels to me in one momth, i was in at both delivery times, my flat buzzer did not ring once!!! None of my neighbours have my parcel, so 2x they have not delivered my parcels to me, and clamied they have. I do not trust hermes and would not recommend them, i am furious they have done this to me twice in the one month, i work hard for the nhs, and this is the last thing i need to be dealing with

Ordered from Ebay and gave my normal delivery address to the supplier but this was a mistake as this was a business address and was closed due to coronavirus. I contacted the supplier and they said they would wait for the goods to be returned to them and they would re-post to correct address. This never happened because after several emails backwards and forwards to Hermes they then stated they had lost the parcel! The supplier kindly offered to send a replacement to the correct address which Hermes have lost yet again! If you ring the customer service number it doesn't allow you to actually speak to someone. It tells you the status of the parcel which is shown on the app anyway and then cuts you off - what a total waste of time!!

Says delivered from HOF package but home and no delivery and no card and robot answer is delivered and proof is signature and ask to see and no signatures due CV19. No answer to tracking number...worst delivery company avoid

Terrible company item listed as signed for but the so called courier had just left it at a house further up the road rang their doorbell and walked off, only received it as the residents kindly dropped it off themselves !

the driver didnt ring the video doorbell, and left a blank card, its not the first time this driver has been lacking.i found many times in the past that HERMES are the WORST delivery company EVER.....

Happen we have the same address no the Same post code to somebody. Hermes delivers come to ask me about a parcel their deliver to my address. Why.why. where is that Hermes deliver who been to mine with that parcel????.b65.

Parcel was adressed to white door but the driver its colorblind and leave it with my next door abadonned flat where no ones lives, and parcel disappeared

It's a pity that it is impossible to award no stars. We ordered a carpet from la Redoute. Hermes claimed to have delivered it. They didn't. La Redoute had to refund and we cancelled the order. We then ordered a carpet from Habitat. Today we have been at home and received a notice from Hermes that they had delivered the carpet today and that we had signed for it. No-one had come to the door. No-one had signed it. A search of the garden failed to reveal it. It was only when I looked over the fence that I saw that it had been left, insecure, in a place where it wasn't visible from the house and was hopelessly insecure. Our experience has therefore been 100% unsatisfactory. I am amazed that any supplier who wishes to maintain its customers' confidence would touch Hermes with a bargepole.

Rec'd an email saying parcel delivered and left in porch (don't know why - we were at home at the time) but no parcel WAS delivered. Claimed they had a photograph but when I went online it was "not available"). Tried to contact Hermes and there IS no way that you can actually either speak to them / send them an email / or even 'Chat' since they simply claim to have delivered. Which they hadn't. It HAS to be the worst delivery service anywhere with a (lack of) customer service to match. Will no longer buy from any supplier that uses Hermes as a delivery service.

AWFUL! After endless emails back & forth about my missing parcel, Hermes explained they are sorry but it has gone missing. I was told to make a claim to resolve this. After my claim they said “Unfortunately, due to the contents of your parcel, your item is exempt from any compensation as it falls in to the category excluded” So basically they excepted my money, had taken my goods, but after the delivery driver or warehouse worker steals it.. they will turn their back on you & just use a made up list of things they don’t cover. (basically everything) My advise is don’t use this company with anything of high value.

Everything went wrong. I ordered a pair of trainers from sports direct. Paid for next day delivery 27th may. I’ve sent 6 emails to both Hermes n SD. Any get through on phone either: No product a week later and absolutely no reply/contact from these companies. My tracking hasn’t updated since the 28th of may. Saying it would be with me in 24hours. Still no parcel. A week later 🤬 Choose a better courier. And check out Joe lycettes investigation. It’s shocking what he found out!

Lots of times I ve had Herme delivered a parcel. One I was expecting a parcel and I wasn't in - i was at work and the parcel was thrown over the side gate so it was in my alleyway. it was dented - it was breakable. Hermes parcels on the porch when there are many people sharing the same entrance I live where ther are 32 people sharing the same entrance and had my parcel left outside last time. I am expecting a parcel now and if I knew that Hermes was going to deliver it I would have requested a pickup because i dont trust the couriers. I will now ask companies if they are using Hermes before I place the order next time so I can pick it up. I am waiting here stressfully and it says that the goods are going to the courior Hermes

They never bothered turning up to collect parcels. Tracking info said they tried and that was end of situation as far as they were concerned. Trying to sort problem I just got sent round in circles by website and digital assistant. I could not find anywhere I could talk or email someone. The worst website / customer services i have encounted

Worst service ever. I have 2 parcels in transit to me via Hermes and neither has arrived. Zero customer service, I cant even find out how to speak to someone. I would never use them or recommend them to any one

Worst service ever and absolutely no customer service! I would recommend that everybody who has experienced a bad service with them contact the retailer they use and recommend they check up on reviews. Hermes claims that they have the best reviews, but on trust pilot 95% are a 'worst' rating. Same here it seems. And there is definitly something dodgy about a company that is hell bent on not communicating with its customers!

Will no longer purchase from any Company that uses Hermes Courier. Have had to pass on many purchases simply because of this but it's simply not worth the frustration of not receiving package, having an appalling non-existent Customer Service and the lies about 'tried to deliver' etc. Only when buyers refuse to use Hermes will Suppliers find alternatives. Click and Collect must always be an option but Royal Mail is totally reliable.

Hermes always fail to find us despite other couriers able to do so. They do not ring. Their website tracking service has minimal information, you can not update your address information as suggested, using holly does not allow you to send an email as it says not possible. When you ring them there is no option to speak to someone, it merely reiterated that there was a delivery issue. Awful
