Check their list of what is not covered if lost or damaged it is pretty well everything. They damaged my soup maker and will not pay for the cost of replacement although I stated what it was when I sent it with cover of £45 plus my charges for delivery. Dreadful company would never use again I would tell them that if you get anyone to speak to.

Absolutely awful. I've used them about 9 times in a 2 week period and had issues with 4 deliveries. I understand that issues occur, especially with what is going on with Covid-19, and I may have been unlucky with the quantity, however it's the customer support team that have caused the 1 start review. They didn't take ownership of my issues and it felt like they were very quick to try and get rid of me with basic copy/paste answers. On multiple occasions, ignored questions I had asked. Presumably because by answering them, they would be admitting fault. A few of the people came across as condensing and at one point blamed the recipient of a parcel. I also asked on 2 separate occasions for the details to make a formal complaint - both times my question was ignored and now the 'ticket' is closed.

Worst company. Worst customer service. Will never use again. Would rate zero if I could. Took 2 days off in a row, 2 days in a row they failed to show up. Even though they drove past my home and even parked in front of my home several times during those 2 days. Useless. Still waiting and nothing.

One of the worst delivery companies ever: I’ve had a missed delivery where the driver went to another address and I saw him and tried to get his attention however he drove off then I got told he’s tried 3 times (all 3 at the wrong address!). I’ve had another time where it said it had been delivered at 14.30 but it hadn’t then someone knocked on my door at 21.40 to deliver it! And currently I’m waiting for a parcel that should have been delivered between 17.00 and 19.00 and it is currently 19.26! Absolutely pointless company, wish I could just avoid retailers using them

supposed to employ local couriers thats a joke, received email saying they had trouble finding address.its in the centre of town with no issues in finding it.trying to contact them is a nightmare,i would urge people to contact firms they order their goods from to complain about hermes terrible service

Awful update service and a nightmare to get in touch with regarding an item that’s out for delivery. They seem to be getting later and later in the night when they arrive and banging on the door enough to startle people it’s ridiculous. I’d rather the delivery be days late than get it at 10pm and be disturbed by aggressive banging on my front door and windows!!!!

2 parcels sent with hermes lost. 2 items due to be delivered to me lost.. All in a space of 2 weeks! Avoid this company at all costs!

On 23rd Nay I booked for a collection on 26th May. Chased them on 28th May as still not collected (spent 30 mins on phone). Was Told the driver was off in 26th (really!) was promised it would be collected on 29th to be delivered on 30th as it was a birthday present. Now it is 31st and parcel is still here and have been on phone for 40 minutes and still waiting to speak to someone. Thought I’d give them a 2nd chance after they lost my 1st parcel whilst it was travelling between 2 depots. Will never use them again. Phone just been cut off after 45 mins.

Hermes say they had problems with my address. However Amazon, FedEx and DPD all managed deliveries this week. Every time Hermes is involved there is always a problem. Why do companies use them?

Worst couriers I have encountered. Leave parcels outside rather than in the safe place (porch). Today, claimed to have delivered... ...and didn't. Website useless. Customer service non-existent. There's a reason they're cheap - they're rubbish!!!

Hermes emailed me saying they had delivered my parcel yesterday at 1554. At that time there were 3 adults home, 2 working on the front garden driveway at the time my parcel was meant to have been delivered. Hermes did not come yesterday and they certainly did not leave my parcel. The question is , who has it and where is it? Holly the so called ‘Virtual assistant’ is a joke. I tried calling to speak to someone but couldn’t get through to any customer service representative.

Well it says it was derived and received by a member of the household and could you guess! It never was! Asked everyone around and no ones claimed to have received it... also it seems due to covid the only proof of ID you need is a “ye sure that’s me!” Tried to get a hold of Hermes but it’s all automated and is the equivalent of saying ‘beep hoop beep your parcel is marked delivered so f.. off’. As someone who treats themselves and likes to occasionally buy high end clothing the last thing I want is this.. I’ve never had this trouble with anyone else like Royal Mail etc but everyone I know has a problem with Hermes.

Just horrendous. Livid. Horrible staff. One person I spoke to was so rude it was unreal. I'm now shaking with rage at the god awful monotony of trying to get through to this service just to be sent round and round in circles. Livid. Only has one star because you can't put 0.

Terrible service Parcels are being dumped over the fence which is also easily accessible to walkers by. The driver fails to ring the intercom to deliver the parcel safely to the house thought the intercom is manned 24/7. He also discards neighbours parcels over our fence who's address is clearly in another part of the village.

I dread seeing my parcel is coming from Hermes as it never arrived. Latest order from EBay and tracking says we wasn’t in time and time again when we are, why don’t they call you? Now parcels have been returned to sender and they want to charge sender £6 to return goods. I am fuming, stay clear from them most shocking firm ever.
