“Horrible experience. bought policy with this company, 2 days later sent email threatening to cancel if i had not installed blackbox which they had only posted a day before, which had not even arrived. installed blackbox, and company still cancelled policy. Company has charged me £75 plus an oustanding balance of almost £700. Looks like they are scamming everyone based on these reviews This scam shouldnt be allowed to happen in 21st ventury Britain. Surely this company needs to be closed down.”

“Wost company ever phoned up 3 times to validate my insurance told each time that I need to cancel my insurance straight away. I've never known an insurance company to want to cancel. Every other company do there best to keep you as a customer they want to cancel you soon as you phone up I feel sorry for people working there. Told that they do not cover business insurance and asked my car model which is a ford focus zetec tdci and they still said I need more details when that's what it was on the log book no other company asks this. I seen a lot of people reviews saying they cancelled there policy it seems that is how they make there money. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY”

“Took out insurance for my daughter with My policy. 6 months down the line she has changed her car to a smaller and cheaper model to insure but my policy have told her it is uninsurable!! Ridiculous as its a group one VW move up 1 litre compared to the group 9 she had previously that was a 1.4. Told us we need to pay 329.00 to cancel it. I found multiple companies to insure it on compare the market.com and at almost half the cost and no telematic installation needed. Went with Admiral in the end great service. My policy are thieves. Stay clear.”

“Took out my first insurance policy, provided the right details, got everything sorted. I was told to call mypolicy to verify my details, they said a random date as to how long I’ve held my license for, which I didn’t actually put down - I told them the right details, they proceeded to cancel my policy and said they’ll be charging a £75 fee!!! EVEN THOUGH I DIDN’T CANCEL THE POLICY, they did. I hadn’t even had the insurance policy for 24 hours, and it was already cancelled and I was charged £75 for something that wasn’t my fault! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY, they are most definitely a scam, and will rip you off big time. Periodt”

“Terrible insurance company, I’ve had a policy since February and the last month - 6week I’ve been self isolating with my parents as they’re elderly and they require essentials, they’re cancelling my policy Because I haven’t been parked at my insured address, and my experiences with them when on the phone is horrible, I was glad I didn’t have to deal with them again but they are charging me £600 cancellation. Horrible!”

“Looks great online with very competitive quotes. Got to final page and noticed the extortionate charges for installation of a "self-installed device" (£350.00!!) as well as renewal, cancellation and other charges. Thanks heavens for these reviews and have decided to stay away.”

“Complete robbers and thiefs run this company. Been agreed 3000 miles a year after 700 miles cancelled my policy. Now everyday text and phone calls for paying extra over £300. for cancellation and miles that didnt even used. Avoid at all costs. Please do not even go near to them. They will bite you like a snake.”

“They use multiple insurance companies so when you have an issue about your policy they can't actually answer any of your questions nor can they refer you to your actual insurance provider. Overall not very helpful on the phone. Paid £350 to fit a box, now that I've moved house 5 minutes down the road they have cancelled my cover but I can still get a quote on comparison websites. Even though I already have the box fitted I'm not able to still use this box because they have so many different insurance companies they use, as they are just the brokers. All in all you're better off going directly to the insurers. £75 to cancel my insurance also, when I didn't want to cancel in the first place. I'm definitely not the person to right bad reviews for companies nor am I the person to pay attention to most reviews. But this is genuinely ridiculous and I feel like I have not received a proper explanation nor have they really tried to keep my business, even though I tried to stick with them.”

“Absolutely terrible company!!!!!! DO NOT GO TO THEM. I paid £1,072 for insurance. Because it wasn't parked at my address which I explained why to them (my car had faults etc.) They are sending threats multiple times to cancel my insurance. I dropped my car back at my address and they cancel my insurance and only refunded me £600.00 I literally took out my insurance in January is hasn't even been two months and they have stolen my money!!!! This was my first time getting insurance I would not recommend them. Also don't even bother having a black box. All of there employees are rude and need to be trained on how to talk to people, especially with sensitive topics. Dumb people.”

“DO NOT USE My Policy!!! Disgusting treatment of my daughter, a newly qualified driver. After signing up and paying £300 deposit they come up with a million and 1 limitations and countless threats of cancelling the policy (which they have now done) the same day they took £120 payment, they conveniently sent a message at 18:00hrs, their closing time and cancelled the policy without any explanation why!! They have said today it’s because she will go over her miles in the course of a year (a restriction she knew nothing about until after policy was taken out) she has not gone over her miles already, she also has a partner they know uses the car, no discussion, no heads up just cancelled. Just for clarification her black box score is 10/10. Do not be fooled by this company, completely immoral and more than likely illegal, we are now getting legal advice but that doesn’t help in that we now cannot get insurance”

“i read their review online and decided to cancel a car insurance i paid in the morning. i called them that same afternoon on the same day and they charged me 79pounds for not doing anything at all. the car wasn't even insured yet when i checked online but they still charged me. i would advise everyone stay away from my policy insurance. i should have read their reviews before i sent my deposit. cunny bunch of people. do your proper research on mypolicy insurance before you regret it.”
