Scammers they will take you money and then cancel your policy but don’t worry they’re going to get a shock in two weeks

I have been with this company for more than 4 years, never once had an issue with them. Payments have been taken on time, if there has been any concerns they have got in touch and it's been resolved. Always been able to get through on phone (sometimes there is a queue but get real, it is a call centre). Almost every bad review I have read has been neglect from the customer not actually reading and understanding things so don't base you going with My Policy based on these other clowns opinions.

Telephone service is horrendous. The installation for the black box was fine, but when the item failed they cancelled THREE TIMES with no notice. When the box was finally replaced they left my car in a mess. This insurance company has caused me nothing but problems from the start. I will NEVER choose them again.

Buyers aware, this car insurance policy has limitations and is not a like for like policy with other insurance companies. I recently discovered my policy is limited to 2000 miles. I paid £395 in total(£250 insurance premium + £145 admin fee) for my policy and I can only drive 2000 miles, after 2000 miles the policy terminates unless you buy top up miles. I have been advised that for every 1000 mile top up I need to pay £450. I normally do 5000 miles per year, therefore this policy for the year will end up costing me £1750 in total based on doing my usual 5000 miles. I normally pay £400 per year with other insurance companies with no mileage limitation. This policy is an absolute scam. When speaking with 'mypolicy' they justify these £400 per 1000 miles top up based on my driving style. I have only had the policy for 42 days, despite the initial insurance premium costing £250 for a 2000 mile allowance, to top up another 1000 miles is £450. When questioning them on my driving style, they said my driving style was very good at 8/9 out of 10. So how do they justify the cost of £450 per 1000 miles top up? Then the advisor mentioned it might be based on the locations I am driving to, they have an answer for everything. I would avoid this company, I have 13 years no claims and normally pay £400 per year with no limitations. This company want to charge me circa £1750 for 5000 miles. It is an absolute scam and it is geared to extracting as much cash as possible form the customer, it is highly unethical and bad practice. I have also been told to cancel my policy today I would only receive about £150, despite me paying £395 and only doing about 300 miles in total in 42 days of service. That equates to receiving a 38% refund, while this company keep 62% of my money for very little service. I recommend you report them to the FCA, I will be.

Absolutely having a nightmare with these. Totally don't mention insurance is mileage based, this has cost me £2000 so far and they have just cancelled my daughters insurance 20 days before she had completed a year no claims saying she missed a payment. I pay the insurance for her and no payments have been missed. Disorganised and absolutely rude staff, never dealt with an insurance company like this in all my years of driving. They have just left my daughter with no insurance over Christmas and new year for no good reason. Seriously, be warned, do not go here for insurance.

Took out insurance for my daughter with My policy. 6 months down the line she has changed her car to a smaller and cheaper model to insure but my policy have told her it is uninsurable!! Ridiculous as its a group one VW move up 1 litre compared to the group 9 she had previously that was a 1.4. Told us we need to pay 329.00 to cancel it. I found multiple companies to insure it on compare the market.com and at almost half the cost and no telematic installation needed. Went with Admiral in the end great service. My policy are thieves. Stay clear.

AVOID AVOID AVOID at all costs or it WILL cost you!!! If you are looking for insurance for a young driver go to a company you can get in touch with and talk through the policy first. As My Policy DO NOT take new business over the phone, you sign up online, they take your money FIRST and then you have to call them up to verify, makes no sense! I ended up getting ripped off, it ended up costing me nearly £600 when I can cancelled the insurance after 4 weeks as I couldn't afford the extra charges, be warned.

My policy is a joke off a company they keep taking down my review even after they had already replied and accepted what I had said and confirmed that I was a customer. They cancelled my policy because I went over my milage by 100 miles and wanted me to produce £125 in 7 days which I wasn’t able to do even after me trying to work with them I never missed a payment and topped up the milage previously with no problems and now I have a canceled policy I can’t afford insurance with other company’s because off that now I have to walk my 2 children to school through the winter and now they sent a bill for £300 to close the account for a car there no insuring just because they cancelled it! You might thing all these 5 star reviews are good but there just from a good 5 minute call setting up a account wait until something goes wrong and they don’t care about any circumstances and are unsphmpathetic just about where the next payment is coming from!

Thieves basically my son cancelled his policy after 10 months and they charged him 800£ for that . When you call them you get different statements what's the money for. Scammers!!!!!!How come they are legal!!! Cancellation fee is 75£ and they want 800£ when I requested managers call back they said there is nothing they can do so no point talking to anyone???? Ridiculous. Save your kids and don't let them having insurance with these THIEVES!!!

Scammers cancelled my daughter policy she’s really upset taken over £1000 for 2 months insurance and then cancelled her policy and wanted her to buy more miles

Absolute joke of a company. Been trying for well over 2 weeks to contact them to renew my policy. I have 3 days left, since their office is closed on Saturday and Sundays... Been well over 12 hours worth of phoen calls, yet to pick up and they don't even tell you where you are placed in the queue.

Avoid at all cost. Scammers who are taking advantage of young drivers. Taken policy out for 17 year old as had good reviews on trustpilot, 3 weeks in no black box available due to no slots for area then when fate came through unfortunately engine light was on and he refused to fit box. They wouldn't extend policy so we're told to cancel policy we are now being asked to pay the £949 due which they never said when we cancelled the cost they gave were £75 cancellation fee plus £53 cover over 19 days this they were repaying £105 back but only received £50 what a total joke of a company will fight this as has ruined and caused alot of stress in what should of been a more happy time

Horrible experience. bought policy with this company, 2 days later sent email threatening to cancel if i had not installed blackbox which they had only posted a day before, which had not even arrived. installed blackbox, and company still cancelled policy. Company has charged me £75 plus an oustanding balance of almost £700. Looks like they are scamming everyone based on these reviews This scam shouldnt be allowed to happen in 21st ventury Britain. Surely this company needs to be closed down.

Took out my first insurance policy, provided the right details, got everything sorted. I was told to call mypolicy to verify my details, they said a random date as to how long I’ve held my license for, which I didn’t actually put down - I told them the right details, they proceeded to cancel my policy and said they’ll be charging a £75 fee!!! EVEN THOUGH I DIDN’T CANCEL THE POLICY, they did. I hadn’t even had the insurance policy for 24 hours, and it was already cancelled and I was charged £75 for something that wasn’t my fault! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY, they are most definitely a scam, and will rip you off big time. Periodt

Terrible insurance company, I’ve had a policy since February and the last month - 6week I’ve been self isolating with my parents as they’re elderly and they require essentials, they’re cancelling my policy Because I haven’t been parked at my insured address, and my experiences with them when on the phone is horrible, I was glad I didn’t have to deal with them again but they are charging me £600 cancellation. Horrible!

Complete robbers and thiefs run this company. Been agreed 3000 miles a year after 700 miles cancelled my policy. Now everyday text and phone calls for paying extra over £300. for cancellation and miles that didnt even used. Avoid at all costs. Please do not even go near to them. They will bite you like a snake.

Horrific 1st year driving experience with them, they charged me an extra £160 a month!! for going over miles by about 100 to 200 miles over! extortionate amount of money with appalling service care
