“expected plates to be road legal you should make this clearer”

“I ordered a pair of plates from here for the first time, for some reason every time I left a space between the fist 4 digits and the last 3 digits it would not accept the registration details until I removed the space. I wrongly as it turned out believed that it was the way the system worked. The plates arrived without a gap, I contacted the company, their response was we make allsorts of plates and cannot check them. I had to reorder another set at my expense. The attitude was very poor with no apology for what appears to be a system glitch, very poor customer service. Will not use again.”

“Whilst plates look very good I wanted them for everyday use but was then told they illegal because they do not display a legal or indeed any postcode”

Hi Alan, Thanks for your review, We print the plates as you design them, looking at your order you did not put a space between characters to keep the bs number on the plate builder, on the bottom right of the designer you can select show BS. If you would have contacted us we could have advised you and helped we do have a manned helpline. I do think the poor review is a little harsh as we have supplied a good quality product but the lagility was down to your good self. Thanks Mike www.myshowplates.com

“Paid for front and rear plates. Only received rear plate. Had to telephone for the front plate. Received a day later but with the incorrect cheaper font.”

“Delivery took six days. A good price, but unfortunately all four corners of both number plates were poorly finished (very roughly filed) which allowed rain ingress between the layers after just three days. Ended up having to buy replacements locally.”

“Although the plates are fine, they arrived too late to be the birthday surprise I wanted them for and so had to go out and have a set made locally. I ordered them on Saturday and although there was a bank holiday on the Monday they arrived the following Saturday. I thought that would have been long enough.”

Hi Andy, You are bang on and it is too far long to wait, we did disatch this straight away but sometimes Royal mail does let usdown, I hope the quality was better than the others you bought locally Thanks Mike

“Got to very careful when putting Your reg in .I forgot the space between the 09 and 3 letters and got nicked and fined .would have been nice if someone could have just checked back with my and guided me. Nice plates though.”

“Received my number plate with the letter in th wrong place and when I phoned up not helpful at all was just told to email them also there website is full after bugs trying to rob your information won't be using again no refund and plate put in bin.”

“You sent me a front colour plate when I ordered a rear. Customer support got me to take a picture of wrong plate and send it to you, before she would exchange, I take this to insinuate that you supect your customers are generally either generally deluded, corrupt or liars. You never even sent out the replacement plate even after recieving proof of your mistake. What else do you want me to say?”

“Whilst the delivery of my plates was quick the purchase was let down by the poor quality of the finish on the front plate. The VW insignia was very faded on the top half as compared to the lower half.”

Hi Andrea, Maybe in life if you advise that your not happy we could address your issue and rectify it, Looking at your order this was the badge you selected its a faint grey at the top and black at the bottom, it was meant to be like this! “The layout of the plate was very good standard as requested however the quality was poor. There was many scratches on the number plate which gave me the impression of the plate being previously used. I was reffered by a friend to use your service but I must say I am quite dissapointed.”
