“First class service and product but for the fact that the website does not highlight the need to put a space between the first 4 characters and last 3 characters if you want the number plate to be road legal in the UK.”

“I asked for a slogan kelvin "glocka" mclauchlin to be writern along bottom of plates, an a grafic to be placed on the left hand side, niether of which were done yet i was still charged for the service, i also waited over a week and a half for delivery which ment i had to drive my car either with the wrong plates on ( my old ones) or buy from else were, i did the latter,”

“This service was very easy to use and my plates arrived quickly. One thing that you could improve is the amount of different fonts for the smaller bits of the plates (not the main lettering). Thank you.”

“Plates turned up but in good time, but spacing between characters was outside thing in an e permitted tolerances therefore resulting in an MOT failure. Replacement plates purchased from elsewhere and those provided by MyShowPlates went into the bin. Emails sent to their customer services but these were ignored. Note that these were not show plates. They were standard number plates for a standard car.”

“their system allows you to inadvertently produce illegally spaced number plates. some months after purchasing replacement plates, THE CAR FAILED ITS MOT because there was no space after the first 2 digits. I had to pay for another set of correctly spaced plates and get them fitted to obtain my mot.............”

“Should make it clearer that a UK legally compliant plate has/requires a full space between the fourth and fifth alpha numeric characters on a 7 character plate. Its not especially clear when the image of the plate is displayed. Prompt delivery”

“I ordered a set of standard plates( or so I thought) and only noticed once I had fitted the rear plate that this one had no space between the letters & the figures. As you pointed out to me this is how I had ordered it. I was unaware when placing my order that I was actually designing the format to be used-I thought I would just get standard plates to a standard design. Whilst accepting my "stupidity" I would have hoped you would have informed me that the rear plate was not in a legal format. I have since had to have a new plate made to conform to legal requirements. A quick call/e-mail would have saved a lot of unnecessary aggravation and changed the overall rating dramatically.”

“To start with the ordering process was very good and very helpful however I did not receive the plate I ordered and the Customer service afterwards has been pretty shocking I have sent an email to try and resolve the issue but have had no reply in 4 days basically saying you have what you ordered so tuff. I can quite honestly say its probably the worst customer service I've experienced and would no way recommend this site to anyone. I am pretty disappointed with the whole thing which is a shame as it started so well.”

Hi Darren, Thanks for the review, You forgot to mention that we sent you a few proofs and you accepted the last one and it was fine for us to print your design. You then received the plates and wanted to change the design and said you didn't like it and wanted the 7 moved 1 cm!!! This is why we have customers accept proofs before printing. You then emailed and said you wanted a replacement or you where going to leave a bad review, we don't like threats like this, You did receive what you had ordered and accepted our proof to you, we change proofs 10 - 15 times for customers and are happy to accommodate, you accepted i believe the 5th proof after amendments. Even after changing many things and saying your wife wasn't happy we still accommodated and continued to change the proof. We even have the confirmation email that you accepted and where happy with it. Thanks for your order and apologies you weren't happy with our service, All the best Mike

“I have not been able to use the number plates that I ordered because they are not road legal. despite several e-mails I have not been able to come to a satisfactory conclusion all I get as a reply is read the small print but why sell something that is unfit for purpose. the plates I ordered were obviously meant for the road and therefore should be made as such. There are a lot of good number plate companies out there with good customer service use one of them dont make the same expensive mistake that I did.”

Thanks Martin, The customer designs the plates online, if you designed showplates then we would supply that, if you supply road legal plates we would ensure they are as per your design. Sorry you didn't read the FAQ which clearly explains how to ensure you order road legal. We are also here to help on the ordering side with a manned helpline and also email. People buy Ferrari's and abide to the speed limit, if you get caught doing 120mph would it be the garages fault for supplying a car that breaks the speed limit. All the best Mike
