very disappointing. to many replacements that did not follow the script. disorganized. The moderator was very pleasant. Not enough time spent on the anatomy and common complications.

Due to a technical issue I was able to get in to the event about 10 minutes late, even after exactly following the directions provided. The Support person that I spoke to did not understand why there was a problem. The overall topic (Handling mental health issues) was misleading. there was a large focus on Special Education rather than dealing with Mental health issues. There was quite a bit of time spent on mandatory reporting, with no new information provided. School administrators know about mandatory reporting. I placed a few questions in the Q & A section that were not answered, at least not directly. Why have a means to submit questions that do not get answered. Some of Mr. Mueller's presentation was very informative. However, the volume on his presentation was terrible. I had to find external speakers to use to amplify the sound to a greater extend, and still could only hear about 60%-75% of what he said. He also laughed a lot during his sessions. The laughing was at the very least awkward, but made it difficult to believe that he was extremely knowledgeable on his topics. Overall, there seemed to be more of a focus on special education and other general items related to education (mandatory reporting, the importance of documenting communications, etc.). I do not feel that I am significantly more knowledgeable on the legal issues surrounding mental health issues today than I was before the seminar.

I paid for an unlimited subscription and then ordered on demand courses but the website doesn’t work. It doesn’t acknowledge my subscription or the courses I’ve ordered

With COVID all of the live events have been cancelled. There should be a discounted program.

I was not entirely pleased with the CLE that I ordered. It was difficult to understand/hear some of the presenters and others simply were not engaging. It was frustrating to watch.

The "program" is merely a compilation of audio files from a conference that took place for a physical audience. Each subject is a session that was recorded live; in many cases, the speaker runs out of time or fails to cover a certain sub-topic completely. There are a few sessions where the speakers had to present out of order and the program simply fails to modify the audio program to reflect the schedule and PDF course book that is provided. Furthermore, the course book that accompanies this program is not entirely consistent with the audio and many speakers jump around within their topic without forewarning. Within the audio program there are also clear references to power points or other visual aids that are not provided within the course book. This course felt much more like an opportunity for NBI to make money rather than an articulated effort to provide a quality educational experience.

NBI CLEs are like the McRib: when you see an advertisement, you think, “this looks great!” Then, when you try it, you remember they’re awful and why you swore to never try one again last year.

I was hoping to take this class, but I had to ask for a refund because I learned that I would not earn Ohio CLE for a class that was given in 2019. I talked to one of the customer service people and she explained that Ohio removes its "certification" from NBI CLEs at the start of the year. In short, it was very inconvenient for me to purchase the course, then find out it was on Ohio CLE approved, then have to submit two expense reports to show the purchase and the cancellation.

Disappointed my recent CLE with you did not offer CLE credit!

Cost exceeded the value of the content. The Senate still needs to pass legislation and until then the value of the course is limited. Also, unless I am mistaken I did not see any print outs with the course content or a slide presentation.

The Water Right conference wasn't very informative, some speakers were good, but most were not. Not a great conference.

I could not make the font large enough to see easily on my laptop. The screen showed both the speaker and his screen with text. Would like the ability to make the text larger so I could listen, read the text and make notes.

I only watched part of the webcast because the sound quality was so bad. This was unfortunate because the parts I did hear were valuable. I'm disappointed that I wasn't able to watch the entire program.

The presenters so far have been really poor. The instruction is disorganized. The presenters just lecture or read bullet points from a PowerPoint. They don't provide good examples. Overall, they have been ineffective teachers.

I cannot believe that you all do not have a smartphone application that permits us to access purchased downloads are listen to them from that platform. I made this same comment two years ago and I was told that one would be available soon, from two years ago. If an application is not available by the time my subscription expires, I will not renew.

It was difficult to hear most of the CLE. The audio was not good. The speakers voice faded in and out or too much background noise.

The judges were great, but the materials provided were dumbed down, not tailored to California (written by someone in WI) and didn't wholly follow the outline the judges did.

The written material has absolutely nothing to do w/ the presentation. It does not follow it chronologically nor content-wise. This is the third of these presentations I have attended, and in all three, while it is great to get insight into what judges think, there does not appear to be any thought or care placed into the written material handed-out. As someone who also writes and teaches for a living, I find that aspect of the course unacceptable. The presenters themselves were great.

I have received more than 6 emails in just over 24 hours since I registered for one course. I unsubscribed after the second email but still received four more. Then I received another email asking for a review. Throttle back the email marketing.

I am writing a review as a speaker who has done a number of presentations for NBI. The honorarium is too low. The work put into being a speaker is substantial. NBI wants prose material, and then if you want to do a powerpoint, that is additional preparation. This is why I don't do a powerpoint in addition. No payment for mileage or travel time. I can't afford to speak anymore for NBI. Also, I did a panel presentation in Peoria last year and was shocked to learn when I arrived that I was the only attorney on the panel, so I had to lead all topics, although initially I chose/was assigned only a few of the topics for submission of materials. None of the participants, or the NBI monitor knew how the panel was supposed to run. I never received a critique from participants, as to what they thought, but it was a bad experience for me after driving so far to do the presentation. The only value to me as a speaker was obtaining CLE credit, but it is less expensive for me to just attend CLE sessions for hours.
