I only watched part of the webcast because the sound quality was so bad. This was unfortunate because the parts I did hear were valuable. I'm disappointed that I wasn't able to watch the entire program.

The presenters so far have been really poor. The instruction is disorganized. The presenters just lecture or read bullet points from a PowerPoint. They don't provide good examples. Overall, they have been ineffective teachers.

I cannot believe that you all do not have a smartphone application that permits us to access purchased downloads are listen to them from that platform. I made this same comment two years ago and I was told that one would be available soon, from two years ago. If an application is not available by the time my subscription expires, I will not renew.

It was difficult to hear most of the CLE. The audio was not good. The speakers voice faded in and out or too much background noise.

The judges were great, but the materials provided were dumbed down, not tailored to California (written by someone in WI) and didn't wholly follow the outline the judges did.

The written material has absolutely nothing to do w/ the presentation. It does not follow it chronologically nor content-wise. This is the third of these presentations I have attended, and in all three, while it is great to get insight into what judges think, there does not appear to be any thought or care placed into the written material handed-out. As someone who also writes and teaches for a living, I find that aspect of the course unacceptable. The presenters themselves were great.

I have received more than 6 emails in just over 24 hours since I registered for one course. I unsubscribed after the second email but still received four more. Then I received another email asking for a review. Throttle back the email marketing.

I am writing a review as a speaker who has done a number of presentations for NBI. The honorarium is too low. The work put into being a speaker is substantial. NBI wants prose material, and then if you want to do a powerpoint, that is additional preparation. This is why I don't do a powerpoint in addition. No payment for mileage or travel time. I can't afford to speak anymore for NBI. Also, I did a panel presentation in Peoria last year and was shocked to learn when I arrived that I was the only attorney on the panel, so I had to lead all topics, although initially I chose/was assigned only a few of the topics for submission of materials. None of the participants, or the NBI monitor knew how the panel was supposed to run. I never received a critique from participants, as to what they thought, but it was a bad experience for me after driving so far to do the presentation. The only value to me as a speaker was obtaining CLE credit, but it is less expensive for me to just attend CLE sessions for hours.

They have very few people show up to the presentations. The outlines they created end up being very difficult to write information for once you sit down and start looking at it more closely. Sometimes, there isn't even enough information to talk on for an hour.

The instructors and materials don't deliver enough samples of real life pleadings and forms that I can use in my practice. I wish the materials had real examples that were drafted by local practitioners. I wish the classes would walk through specific hypothetical problems and show us how the content we're discussing would be worked through with real samples.
