“Handouts were not prepared for the state that the presentation was being conducted. Arizona Law was presented to California. Most presenters had no handout and promised to make PowerPoint available yet have not. this made it difficult to follow along and or participate meaningfully. It appeared to be thrown together at the last minute and materials from other presentations substituted. This was not the professional presentation I expected.”
“The training was horrible. The manual was on Arizona law, but we are in California and the presenters shared that they were subs with only a few days to prep. It showed. They used PowerPoints and we did not not get access to them”
“1. Why was this titled "Top Mistakes in Issuing, Dividing and Transferring LLC Member Interests"? This was not the subject matter covered in the lecture. A more accurate title would be "Oral Modifications of LLC Operating Agreements Under Washington State Law."
2. This was mostly about the case law and statutes in the State of Washington. Why is this marketed to a national audience.
3. Sound quality of the CD is poor.”
“I've received hundreds of flyers in the mail from NBI since attending one program. I only need so much CLE a year. Quit sending me your flyers. Please.”
“Normally I love being a speaker for NBI. This time it was horrible. My ppt did not show up as I sent it in but in black and white and quite hard to read. I wanted to open it early so I had a chance to make it bigger and make sure I was able to see but the moderated would not let me. I also could not ask her questions also she could talk to me. I found myself unable to see the slides very well. As the format given to me what terrible to read from. Therefore, I chose to deliver my presentation from my memory. Then the moderator interrupted me to tell me I was very behind and have many slide to go when I only two slides to go. I found it very annoying. I spent a lot of time on my slides to ensure I could see them and the font was a good size. This was not a good experience.”
“My last rep, Lisa Frank, was fantastic; she answered my responses quickly and made things work for me. My new rep hasn't returned a phonecall and didn't respond to an email sent yesterday - about my renewal, signing up for a course and getting a fuller pass. You could do better. The third time better be a charm.”
