The CLE program was excellent. The presenter was well-spoken and very knowledgeable. My only complaint is that NBI stated that the program was approved for CLE in Virginia, but in fact, it has not yet been approved due to a COVID backlog. NBI assures me that it will be approved, but that I cannot receive my CLE credits until it is (possibly months from now). I need my CLE credits in order to return to active status with the bar so NBI's response is not helpful. NBI's website should clearly state the approval status of its courses.

My only experience is a title law boot camp, the information provided in the pdf booklet was fantastic but 90% of the seminar were instructors just reading the slides, I was hoping for a more in depth explanation.

Many great CLE class offers for my state. Presenters do not always want to give their special tips on how to properly write a legal document to achieve the type of trust or purpose of the legal document and we continue to struggle with this issue. Those presenters who do teach us how to get the job done are superior. NBI continues to help to provide the samples and details we need in a CLE and I applaud them for that. However, printing up our own materials has a cost attached that is higher than obtaining printed materials from NBI that needs to be considered. Overall NBI is doing a great job and they do follow up with their surveys moreso than any other entity offering CLE's. Thank you, NBI.

The shorter the course, the more worthwhile is the learning experience. State specific information is great--very useful.

In the day of virtual seminars it may help keep people invested with some interaction, questions, etc. throughout to keep the mind going. During the lectures the packet provided was much easier to follow with the the power-point copies vs. the outline of the topic that the instructor went off script from and was occasionally difficult to follow.

NBI Presentations have vastly improved since I firs began utilizing their product back about five years ago. The level of presenters has gotten so much better, not relying on non-lawyers as much anymore, if at all. The CLE Passport is a great deal. Customer Service is top-notch, very helpful and address problems promptly.

The seminar was very thorough although many sections were still skipped which was disappointing, particularly if you signed up to specifically learn more about those topic areas. Most of the trainers were good presenters, elaborating on the slides and providing real world examples. The first presenter, however, simply read each slide which is a waste of time. I would definitely take another NBI course and suggest their training to others. In the future, it would be greatly appreciated NOT to suddenly have a deluge of NBI emails every day after the training.

NBI does a fine job with the scheduling and topic selections of its live webcasts. Remote faculty (WFH) may become a norm. If so, I would recommend that faculty presenters (who are very much appreciated) double down on 1) speaking from a non-distracting background; 2) speak less from notes and more into the camera for better interface with the audience members; 3) not run out of time, thus shorthanding the last minutes of their part(s); and 4) spend some but less time sharing their personal/professional backgrounds (especially since the materials provide helpful bios). Speaking of which, the printable materials typically serve as very helpful reference sources going forward. Lastly, try not to increase the seminar fees more than nominally since current pricing can be a pinch during these budget cutting times. Thank you.

I would like more on legal writing and the prices are too steep, but I find many of the seminars to be very good. Mike
