One item of three was broken. I did not expect a battle over the telephone in which it was suggested I take a photo of the corner unit lamp and send it to the supplier.I had already offered to send it back with a return of post label. The implication was that I was lying and secondly the staff concerned could do with a people skills exercise. These comments are meant to be taken in a constructive sense

Whereas a 6W LED strip light was ordered a 4W one was supplied. Given that this was intentional, the attached delivery notice having been manually altered to reflect the change, it would have been better practice to agree the change with the purchaser first.

Hi Alan, Many thanks for leaving us a review, we are sorry to hear you are not happy. The lamp originally was a 6W but the manufacturer has now changed to 4W. The lumen output is still the same so there will not be a difference in light. We are sorry for any inconvenience with your order. I placed an order and received an email afterwards to say the item was out of stock and would be 5 to 7 days. I still have no confirmation that it has been dispatched and have no light in my living room. You really should have informed me that it was out of stock before you took my money.

Ordered 2 book lites that showed in stock on the website, the email acknowledgement stated out of stock so now I don't know when the lights will be delivered.

The request for a review has arrived before the goods, pretty poor service. I ordered a number of items on the same day from various suppliers and the only delivery that has not arrived is the one from National Lamps & Components....

Product entirely satisfactory. Dispatch slow and via Royal Mail, which whilst offering Track & Trace, does not allow recipient interaction to manage delivery date or time and thus not entirely suitable for domestic customers.

I placed an order on 14 February 2016. On 15 February I received an email stating that the items were out of stock and would be delivered within 5-7 days. I heard nothing and on 23 February I emailed again asking for an order update. I was informed that they were expecting delivery on Monday 29 February. To my surprise, and whilst I was out, I missed the delivery of a parcel from National Lamps on Saturday 27 February. I think more communication is needed between departments within your organisation and with your customers.

A disappointment for three reasons: 1) Some items showing as in stock are in fact not so had to be sent later 2) Using the same Item Code for different manufacturers as we reorder on the Code e.g. HELIXT2/11SES27 - was TCP now Prolite and you cannot mix together as light emission is slightly different (you appear to now only stock TCP at 6,500K) 3) Mixing of different manufacturers for the same product e.g. 12 x HGB24018C15 - received 10 x Lyvia (as per website) and 2 x Crompton. As above you cannot mix.

After placing the order I was informed that the items are out of stock and I am now awaiting further instruction. This information should have been available before the order was placed and paid for.

Bad time to ask for a review. I placed my order, they've taken my money but advised the product is out of stock. No indication yet of likely delivery. Suggest they should hold off requesting a review until the service process is complete, ie once I've received the product.

The item arrived quickly, however the light sent was not the item which was ordered. The light which was ordered was chosen specifically for its size as it is has to fit in into a limited space, unfortunately the light that was sent is too large and will not fit the space. There was no attempt to inform me of the sbstitution. I have emailed the company on two occasions now to ask if they can supply the item as ordered but have had no reply! I will contact them for third time to try and resolve this matter. Based on this purchase I could not recommend this company.

took the money for the goods then wrote to me saying you had no stock, with no commitment date to supply,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, why not tell me the stock situation before I commit to buy?

I ordered a light fitting along with a suitable light bulb. Because the bulb is not in stock you have delayed the delivery until the bulb is in stock. This is no good to me I could have carried out the fitting of the fitting and used a temporary bulb in the mean time, until the bulb could be dispatched. Many thanks Gerald. That an automated feedback system cannot distinguish a situation when the supplier has been unable to provide the goods demonstrates one area for ready improvement. Another would be for the website not to take an order and to confirm it for goods which are out of stock. That it took almost a complete trading day to report back by email that the goods were out of stock is also poor service. Goods were ordered on Friday around 6.00 pm, so I didn't expect them necessarily to be handled before Monday first thing, but not to get a notification until the end of the afternoon that there would be a delay was, I think, too long a response.
