Without a doubt, this company is a scam. It was only with the help of Conceptstrd.com that I was able to recover all of my money that they had stolen. You still have time to seize yours if you act swiftly right now.

I had suffered an attack where I was left with internal brain bleeding. 7 broken ribs, 2 fractures on my skull and a fractured vertebrate. I explained to them, how hard it was for me to get to this branch. Just been released from hospital after a long stay. I had no ID as they were stolen in the attack. I explained all the above to the staff in Hackney, Narrow Way, where I've got restrictions on my account due to monies being withdrawn from my a/c by whomever. Even though the staff had previously let me withdraw money without ID, now knowing my situation, I was totally humiliated in the way I was treated. I went into the branch today and I have never ever received so much bad customer service from the staff members of Nationwide. I was literally in tears and the money in my account is all I had to survive on a daily basis. No matter what I had said they didn't want to hear me. They made me feel so little that after the experience. I had to visit the hospital again due to myself being very fragile and in so much agony waiting around for nothing. I've been with this bank for over 25 years plus, my wages went into my Nationwide a/c for at least 20 years also. I'm so annoyed with the way I've been treated. I'm going to make contact with the financial ombudsman.

I joined Nationwide. They asked me if there was anything they could help me with. I have a brain injury. I also have 8 letters after my name. An injured brain is like a broken leg. It's not totally moribund but I thought they'd give me extra time on the phone. So they did what all the other high st banks have done (because they have my data) they refused to let me Bank. They thought I was simple-'special needs' they actually referred to me as. They wouldn't let me moved money, invest in an ISA and they refused to let me Margate branch refused to let me close my bank account. I went to Birchington. 2 people, 1 a man stood over me and intimidated me. I asked them to stand back they did not. Not 1 person came to my aid. I was physically bullied by 2 bank staff. I went straight to Margate police station. They said it was 'Civil'. They didn't want to know. The next day. I asked for the CCTV-subject access data request. I never got it. I asked my friend Westgate Council Chair Woman to come into the same branch with me to try n help me close my account. When we went, they said I was 'barred.' They made up a story about me threatening THEM! I asked to close my account (mainly because they discriminated against me) they said they couldn't close my account because I was special needs. My friend and I stood at the counter for 2 hours. She didn't tell them who she was. After 2 hours she phoned another counsellor. He came straight down. He had had trouble in the bank the previuos day however the bank knew him. Instantaneously, they closed my account. That's white collar crime as far as I'm concerned (abuse and disability laws aside) 2 days later, Kent County Council rang me. They said "We've had a call from your bank. You are a danger to yourself." I was HORRIFIED. This is my area though, I was in education. I said, "Have the police called you? Has the hospital called you? Has my GP called you?" Kent County Council said, "No." They did an investigation and then apologised profusely. So, Nationwide, abused me, tried to keep my money, broke all the disability laws, The banking code of conduct and tried to intimidate me by ringing Kent County Council. Westgate Council Chairwoman and her colleague were with me. I have no words adequate enough to address their abhorrent, degrading, evil behaviour. They should be shut down. Scum

This business is unquestionably a scam. They stole all of my money and wouldn't let me take it back; I was only able to obtain it with COVSECLTD.COM's assistance. If you move quickly right now, you can still grab yours.

Called them twice today regarding unauthorised charges on my credit card. Said will call back in 10 mins. 3 hours later had to call them back again said will call me back in 10 mins. No call back and my card is now frozen due to no fault of mine. What a joke and disgrace for a 24/7 fraud line. Thankfully I’m not stuck in a foreign country trying to get home. Or worse.. Been with them over 20 years…. Good bye and good riddance nationwide…. Pathetic. Avoid at all costs

Members of staff are the RUDEST people that I have ever met at in my life! Very entitled, arrogant and condescending! Whenever I am at the Hayes and Uxbridge branches, I do NOT feel welcomed at all! They have messed up transcations of a lot money from Natwest! I AM VERY HAPPY THAT IT WILL HAVE BEEN SUCCESSFULLY RESOLVED/SORTED OUT NO MATTER WHAT! BUT WORDS TO DESCRIBE THE SERVICE: ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC, ATROCIOUS AND GARBAGE!!!!

To sidestep potential financial dangers, steer clear. They relentlessly push for additional investments, citing market trends. When I refused and asked for my initial investment to be returned, they stopped communicating, and my money wasn't returned. I have evidence of blocked funds and communication, but oliviatrader 44 AT gmail com was able to retrieve all my funds." WhatsApp. +---1 4----23 ----248 ---2140-

The advert is right they don't do things the same way as the big banks. They are much worse. They are not only amateurs but self righteous amateurs. No regard for customer service. And the IT system is featuring on the Antiques Roadshow next week.

Cutomer service has always been good when visiting the branches, though these days, like a lot of banks they've closed a lot. Talking online can be stressful, I had a possible fraud for a decent amount so of course you're stressed when you call, they ask you all these 'security questions', most of which you answer but you can't remember exact numbers of stuff off the top of your head, what was the point of sending me an sms to check about a fraudulent transaction when the security questions stopped me from actually chatting to someone about it?

30 years a member, 6 different types of a account and over £12,000 currently with this 'mutual', but I'm not 'invested' enough as a member? This is the same board who preach about being a mutual, where 'we are all valued', yet there is no say about the £600 MILLION being paid to Mr Branson esq? This in exchange for a bank he controversially got for nothing and is probably worth next to nothing now. While the sanctimonious fat cat board have their snouts in the trough, denying members a say in a questionable takeover, only a minority of others benefit from 'their' largesse, other societies are awaiting my accounts. Once my ISA matures that's where its all going too, **** the self-serving Nationwide!

1 star is too much for this bank 1 star is too much for this bank. They attempted you with 5% interests to get the money from your savings then they - use very junior people to manage your account who does not have any common senses - the complaint team is even worse, full of junior people with robotic answers. - zero digitalisation, you can’t even access your money once you opened your account Go else where as there are plenty of banks who have a basic customer service.
