First: Read the Google reviews before you purchase. I give this 2 stars because the producrs are mostly good (conditioner bar wasn't good for my hair). But I would give them 0 stars for company policies. I originally bought their trial pack as I love shampoo bars and was interested in trying them. Nice products, but I don't like subscriptions and would rather purchase as needed. Went onto the website to unsubscribe and couldn't figure it out. Asked for help vis chat and was given mediocre help, but thought I had it figured out. A couple of months later, I get notified of a new shipment. So I ho back on the site and see 3 products that I did not want stilling my subscription. I again asked for help to find out that you have to unsubscribe from every single item they sell. It is ridiculous that there is not an unsubscribe from all option. Even though I had received help trying to unsubscribe before, they said it was too late to cancel the order and I could return it, but I would need to pay return shipping.i feellike I've been scammed. I don't care how nice your products are,your website and policies need to change. I will gladly take my business elsewhere and warn others about you.

It took almost three weeks for me to receive my order.And was charged by my bank for an international purchase. I did not realize my ofer was being charged out pf Canada as the company advertises both US and Canada. I do love the shampoo bar, how it lathers and makes my hair feel. I have not experienced the dryness other experience but I don’t wash my hair daily. More like 3 times a week. But the conditioning bar never lathers nor has a positive effect on my hair. I have to use a regular conditioner just to get a comb or pick through my hair (I have thick, wavy hair). The deodorant is hard and rough. I like the scent. But it has to be applied multiple times a day. The lid doesn’t close easily, often catching on some of the deodorant as it slides down. The lip balm container is not marked so you don’t know what it is. I do like how it makes my lips feel, so that is a plus. I haven’t tried the body shampoo bar or toothbrush yet (also in my original order) but I would say with the expense, slow delivery and horrible conditioning bar, I would not order from this company again.

I was excited to try the deodorant, lip balm, toothpaste, and floss, but none of them came in the $8 bundle! My bundle only included shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a toothbrush. I was NOT notified beforehand, and my order still cost $8. I mean, I still feel like it's an good deal, with everything I got being $2 each. The products are okay, but I was really more interested in trying the things that didn't get shipped! Definitely cancelling my subscription.

deodorant does not work and it makes my armpit itchy, I really like the smell though, bought the deodorant from a zero waste store RE-plenish edmonton

The deodorant does not work! Summer gets hot and sweaty where I live, and things were smelling pretty pitty only a few hours after applying. Really disappointing.

I wanted to love all of these products, but I cannot get past the shockingly awful smell of every single product. The packaging is good, though the labels were nearly unreadable by the time the package arrived. Now I am anxious that I will be stuck with a subscription for products that I simply cannot bear to smell.

In June I ordered the Everything in One Bundle Package. I'm disappointed that every products looks very different from the photos and is much smaller. There are stickers over each product which makes it hard to open, and leaves a sticky residue if you take it off. I wish I knew what I was getting!

I am always excited to find companies and brands that offer eco friendly products and strive to do what is best for the environment. I came across HB when they were experiencing shipping delays which is fine and I understood. After 2 months of waiting for my order it finally arrived but was not what I was expecting. I didn’t get half the things I ordered and paid for, such as the bamboo hairbrush and the razor As well as some dental floss. Instead I found products that I didn’t think were going to be there (shampoo and conditioner that I’m not going to use). Furthermore after now using these products I am not pleased with them. The deodorant doesn’t prevent me from being smelly at all and the cardboard containers are hard to manipulate and use. Overall, not a great first experience with Habitat Botanicals.

Overall I was not happy with my order. My order took over a month to get here and when I received it it was open and nothing was inside. Canceling a subscription is hard because you can’t Find the portal on the website, you have to email to ask. I loved the initial idea but I will not be ordering again.

Today on JUNE 6, I received my hand sanitizer which I initially ordered on MARCH 24. When I initially ordered these products, it was my first time ordering from this company. I was really excited because I’m trying to find more eco friendly products, and I was excited to give this company a shot. Well, I can tell you that I do not think I will be ordering from them again. I initially had to contact them because there was no tracking information for my package. I cannot tell you HOW MANY TIMES I had to contact them. Every time there was a glimmer of hope the package was on its way, I was still left waiting weeks and eventually MONTHS for it to arrive. I realize they experienced some hardships and that coronavirus is delaying shipments, but their communication is atrocious. It should not take MONTHS to receive a package. However, now that I do have the package, I will say it is fine, but it has a very strong smell, which I assume is due to the high alcohol content, but I wanted hand sanitizer with that much alcohol, so I can deal with the smell. Their customer service is very nice, and they did send me more bottles than I asked for free of charge, but still, the amount of time it took for the package to arrive and the back and forth between customer service was absolutely ridiculous. They need to get it together.

Ordered plastic-free bundles (shampoo, deodorant etc) in mid-January 2020. Three months later, mid-April, it had never shipped despite multiple promises & excuses across platforms/emails. I was super patient but saw in social media comments that people who did finally receive product had missing/damaged items. After 3 months passed with no evidence of shipment (not the same as creating a shipping label!) I received a full refund in mid-April 2020. Their payment processor Stripe takes 3-14 days to process your refund (per stripe website). The two stars is because I actually got my refund otherwise it would have been 1 star. I had been monitoring consumer comments across social media & learned that they had been creating packing slips months before shipping, and trying to say they couldn’t issue a refund until you received the product & shipped it back to them. That’s not going to fly. My tip: when requesting refund, do screenshots and/or a log of the promised & missed ship dates and circle relevant parts of refund policy & any other policies of theirs you can find. I was firm but polite and noted based on my documentation that they had not fulfilled their side of the transaction (or contract). I got a refund with no hassle at that point. I think they just don’t have the inventory or bandwidth or organization. They’ve been having problems with fulfillment at this stage. I was patient due to the move from Michigan to Canada and because of the virus. But when I started to get sales emails it irked me that they were soliciting customers despite being months behind on fulfillment.

I'm bummed to say that I am not at all happy with their products. I really wanted to like them and support their great mission but my experience so far is far from good. The conditioner bar seems impossible to use since barely any product rubs off of the bar onto my hands or hair. As for the bar of soap, it broke into little pieces after about a week of use and it will probably all be gone in the next few days...

Price was fair for the amount of stuff you get (and all biodegradable!), but the products aren't great. The loofah I got was nothing like in the picture and was way too rough to use on my skin. The shampoo left my hair feeling very stripped and knotty, but after using conditioner it was fine. Can't say the lip balm does much for my lips except taste like vanilla, and the deodorant was only okay. Disappointing considering the amount of good reviews for this bundle.

These products... while the concept is amazing and the packaging is exactly what I’ve been looking for in products, it’s sad to see how small my deodorant was compared to how much I paid for it. I went through the product in less than two weeks. I wouldn’t call that sustainable if I have to buy the products four times a month. Not for the planet and not for my wallet.

I loved receiving my package but i revived the wrong toothbrush because it had plastic bristles. I also received a different loofah than pictured in the everything box. But i talked it customer service and they were amazing and very helpful!! They gave me a new toothbrush and loofah. They were so quick and kind!! The phase squeaky clean real does apply to the shampoo and body wash. the body was feels very tight and uncomfortable in the shower but when you get out about 2 minutes later you feel so refreshed and moisturized! The shampoo i would not recommend to anyone with oily hair, thick hair, curly hair or wavy hair. It was hard to get it in my roots for a proper clean and after using the bar it left my hair in very large knots. I love the deodorant and lip balm! I will order again but will probably change to a different shampoo.

Everything about this chap stick was perfect. Until it ran out way too soon. When you take the packaging apart you see that 4/5 of the tube consists of the hollow plunger that pushes the chap stick up, and only the top 1/5 is actually filled with chap stick. Really disappointing when you spend $6 on a massive tube of chap stick to find out it is designed to only come 20% full.

I was very surprised to have $50 dollars taken out of my account without my knowledge because I had not officially “subscribed”. Then I saw that when I ordered a sample, they automatically subscribe you and charge you for the first shipment. As a student, that was hard on me. But I decided to try the products anyway. And they didn’t work well for me. Specially the shampoo and deodorant.
