Like others I was charged for my order of hand sanitizer three weeks ago and although I received a tracking number right away nothing was shipped. I’ve emailed them to cancel my order and refund me and have not heard back.

Now I believe this Company is absolutely a scam. We are expecting a newborn baby and desperately need some hand sanitizer during this pandemic. When I saw the ad on Facebook, I immediately placed order. Shortly after I received an email saying my order has been shipped with a tracking number. But there has never been any tracking information under that link and my order is no where to be found after 2 weeks. I sent email to ask the customer service but never got a response. These thieves are absolutely shameful to take advantage of people during such a difficult time. Remember, karma will come to your way!

I cannot comment on the quality of Habitat Botanicals' products because two months later, my order still has not been shipped. I can, however, comment on their TERRIBLE customer service and business practice. For a brief timeline, I placed my order on February 2 and got an email letting me know that orders would be slightly delayed since they were moving to their own factory. On February 13th I recieved an email saying that my order would be shipped the following day. Needless to say, it was not. On February 24th and 27th I contacted them because I was confused and had intended to use the products I ordered (like bar shampoo) on an upcoming trip. At that point I still naively hoped that there had been a mix-up and they would fix the problem for me. Instead they gave me two different excuses with vague comments about how I would get my product "soon". I tried contacting them one more time before I left for my trip, but heard nothing back. I did get an email on March 5th with tracking information. However, the status is still at "ready to be shipped" and the shipping company says it has not recieved the package yet. It is now April 1st, meaning that I placed my order about two months ago. This is completely unacceptable business. To be clear, I understand that mistakes happen. I have worked in customer service before. However, when customers make valid complaints, we address their concerns rather than dismissing them and excusing ourselves. Part of the problem is that Habitat Botanicals does not give a phone number to contact them with. This makes it so that they can give poor, vague excuses and do not have to deal with the customer's reactions. It is unacceptable. I can assure you I will never buy from Habitat Botanicals again, and I don't recomend that anyone else does either. If anything goes wrong, you can be sure Habitat Botanicals won't help you.

Ordered hand sanitizer March 18th. Received in March 31st. Not a bad wait time considering how busy they are. I was sad to see I was charged in USD so my tiny amount of sanitizer was $60 CAD but that's ultimately on me for not double checking.

About 100% sure this is a scam. Realized this after my package was "sent" but there was never any tracking data available and that was over a month ago that it was "sent" and I never received a thing. Asked for a refund and was told I can only get one if I send the product back...but I never received said product, so how can I send it back??? Scammed by fake reviews and ordered stuff I thought would be environmentally friendly, even though I found the set up of the website sketchy when I was ordering, with the pop up wheel of fake discounts and the pricing changing when actually checking out, be smarter than me and avoid this company.

On Feb 14th, 2020, I ordered a 4 pack of deodorant. It is now March 31st and the product is not here yet. After looking into other reviews, it is clear that the business model of this "company" is to process orders, and then not fulfill them for an extended period of time. I'M ACTUALLY NOT CONVINCED THIS IS A REAL COMPANY AT ALL. The confusing part is the high review ratings i find, but then when I search through the actual reviews, many of them are 1 star with the same complaint. The reviews are skewed, the company is a scam, and we are all being played for a few bucks at a time. Not enough to actually raise a big fuss about, so they keep getting away with it. This "company" seems to prey on consumers who are willing to pay a bit more for eco-friendly products, as we are an easy target. Perhaps a BBB claim is the way to go, even if my loss is only $35. WE AS A SOCIETY CANNOT ACCEPT THIS KIND OF MODERN DAY THIEVERY AND DECEIT or it will never stop, and more "companies" will follow the "business" model for a quick buck at our expense. -David

If you try to look them up on now (March 31) they deleted their facebook page and created a new one under Habitat Bathroom Products. Same link to order but different name. Guess their scam was no longer working with so many bad comments under all their post on their old page. Just don't order from them. Total scam. Wish they would get investigated.

I'm seeing all the one star ratings and that's mine as well. Terrible customer service. Ridiculous wait time between ordering and receiving product. I only finally got mine because I literally hounded them on Facebook . Products are only ok, not great. Overpriced. Wish I could add a photo here. The 2 inch cardboard tube of lipbalm has a quarter inch of product!! Please don't waste your time, energy or money.

I ordered my box in January and still haven’t received it. I’ve checked up multiple times and have been told it’s coming. I have asked for a refund since it has been months but since it’s already “shipped” I can’t get one. I was really excited about these products but at this point it seems like I’m never getting my package or my money back. I see many reviews on here saying the same thing so It’s a scam.

Scam. I ordered beginning of January. It is March. 30th and I have nothing. I’ve sent many emails and they have excuse after excuse. Telling me they’re sending me free products. Also- the price got converted to US dollars even though they say they are located in BC. I’ve reported them to better business bureau as a scam.

I originally bought from this company sometime last year and had a great experience. I got everything I ordered and in a timely manner. It was a great. Honestly I have no idea what happened since then because this is the worst experience I’ve had with a company. I ordered product on 21 December, 2019 and I have yet to receive anything (today is 27 March 2020). I have emailed them a few times and they have assured me my item was shipped as of 5 March, but here I am still without any product and excuses about the tracking link sometimes not updating. I am starting to believe, based on all these reviews, that I won’t ever get anything. I have no idea what happened to this company in the time between my orders but it is absolutely ridiculous and I don’t recommend anyone waste their time.

I would love to leave a good review but considering I ordered mine a month and a half ago and still have not received it I cannot. I’ve left emails gotten return ones saying they would update me on where it is since their tracking with Canada post does not work but they have yet to actually let me know. So if you do decide to order it make sure you do it months in advance from when you would actually like to receive it.

So I started my journey with ordering through Habitat Botanical/Natural Vegan or whatever they are going by back in December (around December 4th I believe). I placed an order for some bathroom supplies like a shampoo bar deodorant, etc. as a Christmas gift for my friend as well as a gift card so I qualified to get free shipping. Upon checkout I was asked if I wanted an "exclusive" offer to get another one of there everything bundles. I said to myself, "sure, why not try the product myself. What is the worst that can happen?" My first order got to me in the middle of January (I believe around January 18th), I was upset that the gift hadn't arrived on time but excited that it arrived at all. My mistake wasn't ordering that first batch, my mistake was ordering the gift card in the first batch. Which caused me to deal with this company again if I wanted to get my money's worth. So I placed an order for the laundry detergent on their website (TruEarth [great brand by the way]) around February 10th using my gift card. Two weeks go by and nothing was shipped, the only acknowledgement I got was my receipt from purchase. Then I got an email about orders being backed up because of their new shipping distribution system. So I thought okay, this must be the reason for everything running late. Confident in the company, I hammered the final nail in the coffin for my business with this company by purchasing more deodorant and a loofah (around February 26th). Today, I write this review after not one..., not two..., but three purchases. I finally received my deodorants and loofah (today is March 25th). The deodorant is not completely what I had ordered, two of the deodorants are in compostable tubes and the other two are bars. I ordered all compostable tubes. Also, I forgot to mention earlier in the review, the first order that I received in mid-January did not come with the second everything bundle I ordered with the first purchase. In addition, I still have not received the TruEarth detergent I ordered through this company in early February. You could be asking yourself, "but I thought you said TruEarth was a great brand?" Yes, I did say that, because I ordered another packet of detergent from TruEarth themselves and it was shipped to my apartment in 5 days which is fast considered it has to get shipped from Canada (I am a resident of the U.S.). IF YOU TAKE ANYTHING AWAY FROM MY REVIEW here are the highlights: 1. This company will not ship on time. 2. Their products are decent, but solely because of the ingredient list (which you can find so many other better options from other places) 3. They will lie in their emails to you saying that your product will ship soon. 4. They will not give you everything you order. 5. They will fulfill your order with the correct items you purchased. In closing, you may be asking, "well did you ever contact them?" The short answer is, yes I did, multiple multiple times. The sad part is, I don't normally even write reviews but this company really got to me. I would write more but if I don't stop now I may get spun up again. Shop responsibly. Use your money elsewhere.

I'm really disappointed with my experience with this company. My friend and I were really excited to try these natural products. I placed my original order in December, received most of my order in late February, but not until several email exchanges. When I got my package, not everything was there. It has been over a month since I told them my package wasn't complete. They emailed back quickly the first time and said they would send the missing items with their next shipment. No shipping info. Emailed them again about it, no response. The products I did get are nothing special and I don't think they are worth the price. Unless you don't mind waiting for months and not receiving your full order, don't buy from this company.

Ordered product February 13, 2020. Around March 5 a shipping label was made for my order, but product was never shipped. I am now requesting a refund. Today is March 21, 2020 I ordered from a similar company and got products promptly.

After a month I emailed about products that I ordered, customer service replied saying I will get a tracking number by the end of the day, a week later I still have yet to receive one. I would not trust this company at all. I probably will never see product that has been paid for.

Update on my earlier review just received a notification from canada post Dear Customer, Our investigation into your request indicates that no scan has been uploaded to the Canada Post tracking system to indicate delivery of your item. We appreciate the concern associated with this shipment. At Canada Post, we strive to provide exceptional service and the best delivery experience possible and security of the mail is a top priority at Canada Post. Any further action must be initiated by the sender of the item. If you have still not received the item, please notify the sender and instruct them to contact Canada Post if they wish to initiate a claim. So Canada post has not had this packaged delivered to them, PLEASE PEOPLE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY, IT IS A SCAM REGARDLESS OF THE EMAILS THEY SEND YOU SAYING THEY ARE WORKING ON THIS!

Price gouging people during a pandemic. $28 for 12 oz of hand sanitizer is ridiculous. They sent out an email spreading misinformation about the effectiveness of regular soap against COVID19, trying to drum up business for their “extra powerful” soap. “Medical Grade Hand Sanitizer” is a joke, there’s no such thing. This company is dirty, backhanded liars trying to take advantage of people during a worldwide crisis.
