STAY AWAY. This is a dishonest company. I placed an order which I was moderately happy with, but was then "subscribed" to an automatic shipment without my consent for over $60. When I emailed about the mistake, they said they would refund me if I sent it back at my own expense because it was too late to cancel (I never got an order confirmation, just a shipping confirmation). I was also informed that I had to cancel my "subscription" that I did not sign up for bu logging into an account that I had not yet made. I created an account to find that I had a 3 month subscription active that I had been charged for in full (again, never signed up for this OR opened an account), which I cancelled. It was then that I realized there were so many online reviews about this company scamming people. I emailed them about this and either got automated responses with more "deals" or quick, thoughtless responses that did not resolve my issue. I took it unopened to the post office and had them "return to sender" which lets you send it back without paying for the shipment (make sure it's unopened or they won't allow this). Hopefully I get a refund as promised. What a garbage company, ripping people off during a pandemic who are trying to support a sustainable business.

Very very upset by this company and their horrible lies!! I ordered a package on 11/28/19 and received one email on 11/30/19 letting me know that they were behind on orders and I could email them if I wanted it expedited. I emailed them to expedite the order received a response back on 12/6/19 that they were "working on my order and had marked it URGENT"! I have still received nothing and several email excuses that it was shipped but maybe I gave a wrong address, they had issues with the shippers....and very lengthy responses..over and over. Today is 1/6/20 and still my order has not shipped!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, IF YOU DO RECEIVE ANYTHING..YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO REORDER !! NOW I AM ASKING FOR A REFUND..SURE THEY WILL GIVE AN EXCUSE WHY MY MONEY CANNOT BE RETURNED TO ME..probably"got lost in an email..."

Hi Kym! Hannah here. I apologize for our delay during the holidays, we got overloaded and our fulfillment centre couldn't keep up. But your refund was processed in full. Jaymie and I are opening up a location in Canada to make and ship products from so this never happens again and we can make sure everything is done properly and on time. I hope you give our products a chance in the future!

I'm trying to navigate their website to cancel my subscription that I didn't sign up for. This is a complete scam. Does anyone know how to cancel my subscription

I was very disappointed with all the products. The main reason was the packaging. They look very different from the photos, they seal their products with a very cheap label that when you remove it, it obviously leaves the glue and paper behind and makes them look very ugly. And now every time I grab my deodorant it leaves very sticky glue on my hands which is very annoying. The scent of the products isn´t very nice either but I know that´s a personal taste issue. They don´t make it quite obvious that the prices are in USD dollars being that the brand is canadian. And ALSO a very important thing to mention is that I never subscribed for a monthly package and yet they automatically subscribed me to one and when i contacted them the only thing I received were automatic emails and copy pasted information. I never got to write to a real person. I´m attaching photos so you can see yourself.

Same as everyone else. $1 trial offer and charged $30 for three bars of soap the following month. The product worked well, and I probably would have ordered it again anyways, but now I’ll NEVER buy anything from this shady ass company again

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I ordered a sample bundle that was portrayed to be 8 dollars. I received my order, thinking that was it. In the fine print, I guess, as I never *SAW THIS*, it apparently said it would be shipped out *every month*. I was charged $40 without consenting. During an economic crisis. Absolutely disgusting. I understand this company cares about the Earth but please try care about the human inhabitants trying to make ends meet. Doesn't look like you care about that. Disgusting.

I got a deodorant and then weeks later received an email about a subscription. I tried to log in but couldn’t remember a password so I asked to reset it. Never got that email a day later I was charged $30 for a package so I emailed their help team and was told I needed to create an account (I’d never had one to begin with apparently). So I cancelled the subscription and then emailed to cancel the order but was then told that it had already processed so I needed to wait until it arrived (it hadn’t shipped yet) and then pay out of pocket to ship it back to them before I could get a refund.

Ordered on 03/31 and still have not received a tracking number. Kept getting promises of next week, next week, next week. I begged for a refund because this order was meant for my friends and family members who are essential workers and I do not wish for a company to keep my money for an order that may not come at all, but they said they are near bankrupted so they cannot do that. After reading all of these reviews and seeing how some ordered way before me and still have not received their product, I may have to dispute with my bank.

DO NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY! I am a struggling artist, it was hard for me to come up with $ for this bundle, but I really believe in making the switch. Habitat Botanicals sent me HALF of what I paid for and refuses to get back to me- They barely fill their containers, making these products a massive waste of packaging materials. NOT ECO FRIENDLY AT ALL! I'm very disappointed and have found alternative suppliers on Etsy.

I ordered from here at the end of November and still have not received my product. I sent an email mid December and they replied that it would be shipped within 7-10 Business days. 2 weeks later I sent them not 1 but 2 emails to cancel the order and refund my money wheich were BOTH ignored. I made a complaint with PayPal stating what had happened and what they did was send a shipping confirmation # after the fact; instead of replying to the multiple times I told them to refund my money. This company is nothing but a bunch of scammers I should've read the reviews beforehand.

I wouldn’t even give it a star but I had too. I got my package not even in a box it was a beat up envelope. The lip balm was melted and it just had a sticker on it with the name of the company not what they show. And the same with the deodorants... not worth buying again.

Zero stars. It took almost 2 months to receive my order and the customer service was terrible. They were absolutely clueless and just kept telling me what I want to hear. They couldn't even figure out where my package was and there was no real tracking number provided. Now Pela phone cases have taken over their customer service and refuse to do anything to make the situation right. No accountability whatsoever. Don't buy from either of these companies. They don't care about their customers and just make excuses

This company is intentionally deceptive. Do not purchase from them, and frankly, do not support them by purchasing from Pela (they have acquired Habitat Botanicals). If you have received a package from them that you don't remember ordering, DO NOT OPEN IT AND RETURN IT TO SENDER. Habitat Botanicals will have to pay for the return shipping costs.

I wanted to try a product from here and was offered a trial of 1 product for $1 after purchasing a Pela case. Unclear to me at the time, while doing this I was signing up for them to send 3 more of this product a couple weeks later and charge $30. As I had only recently received the first product not only did I not require 3 more that soon, it was very unclear that this "subscription" service was now active. I suppose the emails they sent went to my spam folder in regards to this service. I also had to create an account to cancel this subscription as I did not have one before, which not sure how I would have a subscription to an organization without even having an account with them. Needless to say, I wasn't able to cancel the order. Overall disappointing and can't imagine this is the first time this has happened.

I wish I would have read other reviews before doing their deceptive "$1 Free Trial". I was signed up for a recurring "subscription", without my consent. I had not even created an account on their website, but they saved my credit card information and sent me an "order confirmation" about a month later for my "refill" of 3 deodorants. I emailed back less than 4 hours later, to request that the order be cancelled because I never signed up for a subscription. I was told that the order cannot be stopped once it is in process, but I was welcome to return the order for a refund, and pay the return shipping at my own expense. Two days after the order confirmation, I got a shipping notification. SO WHY COULDN'T THE ORDER BE STOPPED BEFORE IT WAS SHIPPED?!? This company is intentionally deceptive. There is so much information on their "product description", that is super unclear, and obviously a lot of people are having this same problem. Even the order confirmation email for my original $1 Free Trial product did not state ANYWHERE that I was being signed up for a subscription. I was told that I would need to create an account on their website in order to "cancel my subscription". This is soooo shady! Why would I have a subscription with you if I have never even created an account?! I don't want an account on your website, but I HAVE to create one just to cancel my subscription that I never signed up for! I am all for natural products and eco-friendly practices, and I am not a person to leave bad reviews, but this company is scamming people and that really sucks. To top it off, I didn't even like the deodorant. I have been using natural deodorants for years, and this one did not work for me. Also, the cardboard tube is a great plastic reducer, but it was impossible to push up. I would not have taken the time to leave a bad review for that, but the shady/scammy business practices force me to. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU ACTUALLY WANT A SUBSCRIPTION!

If I could give zero stars, I would! PLEASE don't buy from this company. It is a horrible scam. Their website is intentionally deceiving, and they sign you up for subscriptions without your consent. I am infuriated!

terrible, TERRIBLE SCAM OF A COMPANY. They signed me up for a subscription I never made an account for and decided to send me 3 deodorants I never ordered, wanted, or needed. It's TERRIBLE to do this to people in the midst of a global pandemic that's impacting people's financial situations. Now I have to try and dispute a charge for $30 worth of deodorant. Absolutely awful company.

Don't bother! Total scam. They send you decent products but automatically subscribe you for far more expensive products and the website is NOT user friendly. I couldn't get my password to work so I couldn't log on to cancel and it took several tries to actually reach someone who would cancel my subscription for me. Scammmy Scam Scam!
