“Not satisfied at all!! First of all, the Health & Safety Officers turned up on the day, the job was cancelled as the ladders were unsuitable. The next day we were told we had to be there at 9am. They did not turn up until 12.30pm, that was after endless phone calls from myself. The job finally completed . A week later the NEW boiler was on fire..... yes there were flames coming out of it. I could not convince the bloke on the phone at your office that it was actually on fire, instead of treating it as an emergency, all he said was, that if there was not a problem with the boiler then we would be charged for the call out!! Charming. So two other blokes came out and said there was a little wire trapped which caused the fire, i said that was careless and could have resulted in an explosion....they did not seam to be that bothered....which i have to say seems to reflect how your company is. So, there was no apology for more or less calling me a liar...(are you sure it is on fire)!!, no body has called up to apologise, no one has said anything about compensation, which i believe should be offered after the way we were treated. All in all very un satisfied, and i would never recommend your company to anyone ever.”

“I was pleased with the package provided by Northern Gas. The price quoted was competitive, and the work completed in a day, without any additional charges. The work involved relocating the combi boiler, and installing new pipework. All existing redundant equipment was removed, and the house left tidy. Roland Allman 1 June 2016”

“It was only the brilliant boiler fitters that prompted me to give a good star rating. Our fitting date was cancelled twice, once on the actual day that the boiler should have been fitted, which was very disappointing to say the least.”

“I would never recommend this Company the whole process was diabolical from start to finish there call centre staff are rude, unhelpful, ignorant , uncaring and just plain awful the ONLY plus point was the engineer who actually installed the boiler because he was the only person who knew what he was doing”

“Personal contact was a bit of an issue with one of your staff prior to installation, but that was resolved. I am still waiting for a refund from you for £174 due to the extra flue not being required. Maybe the chap who rang to ask me to complete a satisfaction survey can call me back like I asked him to. Despite the above I am very happy with Northern Gas, the product and the cost, l look forward to the refund. Please contact me if you feel the need to.”

“Boiler fitted fine only thing i found was next ?ay tried do some washing washing machine was not working got some one out it appears that washing machine elec lead had been streched some one was rough while pulling out machine so was not pleased costing me more monies on top of the charge for boiler part from that every thing else went well”

“I found the whole experience from start to installation very good and couldn't fault anything. However, I have had a leak since the new boiler was installed and have phoned Northern Gas last week to report this but nobody has contacted me to arrange for this to be fixed.”

“I had a boiler installed by a very efficient gas engineer called Jason. There were no problems, only solutions. Jason was extremely efficient and explained both the boiler and remote control in great detail, leaving me confident to operate the system. He was a credit to the company. I would have no hesitation in recommending this firm in the future.”

“The whole process from the quotation to the installation went smoothly and professionally. The engineers were careful with everything in the house and cleaned after the work was done. I am very pleased from the attitude and the work held at my property ! The new boiler is working perfectly and saving me money for over 3 months now ! Many thanks Northern Gas !”

“Had really good service overall. The installers were great. They cleaned up after themselves and even offered to take the fireplace out on a later date to suit me. Would definitely recommend. Service was really good”

“The instalation of our new boiler went well-the 2 guys worked hard. We are very pleased with the boiler and the new shower which they installed. We did have a slight leak in a pipe under the utility sink which they came back promptly to deal with. It appears it was caused by increased pressure on a pipe they had not worked on. This was repaired and we are now enjoying a reliable Vailiant boiler and a very nice shower. Many thanks”

“Not very happy at all with the service,they had to come back twice to repair leaks,left rubble inside and out,didn't put the flooring back right in the bathroom so it has ripples in it and a 1 inch gap at the wash basin,left the towel rail wobbly so it moves when you put a towel on it etc etc.”
