“I have been receiving unauthorized charges from varying amounts from Nurx. I receive no products or services from them. I did the steps for a prescription consultation which included uploading personal information, ID etc, but I never moved forward with and services or medication.
I discovered 5 unauthorized charges from them for varying amounts across a 2 year period. The charges total $377. I haven't heard back from Nurx and I am working with my bank to refund those charges. They are straight up just stealing!”
“I’m incredibly frustrated and disappointed with Nurx. I hadn’t ordered birth control in over SIX MONTHS, and out of nowhere, I was charged $6 for something I didn’t request. I called Nurx on May 31st to ask why this happened and was told that a new order had somehow been placed (not by me) — and that everything on my account would be canceled to make sure it didn’t happen again.
The very next day, on June 1st, they charged me another $6.
I had already disputed the first charge with my bank and now I’ve had to dispute the second one too. I was reassured on the phone that my plan was canceled, so I don’t understand how charges are still being processed. It’s also worth noting that I don’t even live in the same state anymore...so the order makes absolutely no sense.
This kind of billing behavior is unacceptable, and their customer service clearly isn't effective at resolving or preventing these issues. I would strongly recommend others be cautious before giving Nurx access to your payment information.”
“Avoid Nurx at all costs — a dangerously incompetent platform for medical care.
What should have taken 48 hours has now dragged out for over a week, with no resolution in sight. After multiple calls, I’ve encountered some of the rudest and most uninformed customer service agents imaginable — unacceptable for any business, especially one dealing with people’s health.
I was met with condescension, offensive comments about my prescribed medication, and a total lack of accountability. Each agent gave conflicting information, and none seemed to understand their own system or billing procedures. Only after escalating my complaint did someone finally say they could send my prescription to a local pharmacy. I go to pick it up the next day — nothing had been sent. Absolutely nothing.
Now, because of their total incompetence and a long weekend, I’m stuck waiting another full week for medication I needed days ago. That’s not just frustrating — that’s negligent.
This platform is not safe, not professional, and not worth the risk. If you value your time, your health, or even basic human decency, look elsewhere. Nurx has been an exhausting and infuriating experience — one I wouldn’t wish on anyone.”

“At first, they sent my prescription every month on time. After a few months, it started coming late and then eventually not coming at all. The service team would totally ignore what I said and just say “thank you for reaching out to us, let us know if you need further assistance” without actually addressing what I said. They charge my credit card $17.61 every month even though I wasn’t getting my prescription on time or at all. I ended up canceling due to this issue. I don’t recommend using this service.”
“Absolutely horrible customer service. I paused my prescription and then saw I was charged for the item. I messaged them right away and followed up, by the time they answered me (over a week later) the item was delivered. Since the item was delivered they said there’s nothing to do. I plan on fighting this through my credit card since there’s no one to talk to at Nurx. The company kind of feels like a scam.”
“Was given a month supply of weight loss medications that did not get refilled and shipped in a timely manner. Went days without even after I sent messages a week in advance about running out soon. Messages went days without being answered and when I tried to call I would be on hold for 30+ minutes and finally hung up. Sent a message to cancel all prescriptions and cancel membership and the next day I got billed for 1 of 2 medications. 3 days later I was billed for the second medication and the $59 service fee. Was told that I could not return unopened medications for a refund because it’s against the law. Should not have to pay for service that was inadequate and nonexistent.”
“They change your setting and cancel your orders without you asking or your knowledge. Which is a huge privacy violation. Customer service is horrible. Forget trying to reach someone on a phone call ( 1.5 hours is the longest I’ve been left on hold to wait for an agent before giving up) and expect a message back within 5-7 business days. This company is horrible”
“Providers can't be reached Medications are not shipped on time leaving days of withdrawal symptoms. Messages are often answered by team members not providers. They claim 24 to 48 hour response but I experienced team members responding with questions instead of answers and then ignoring my responses. This company is not to be trusted with your or your love ones mental health medication.”
“Extreme wait times to get even a simple response (3 days is ridiculous) & good luck trying to reach anyone over the phone number that they give you to call. Once they do become active there is still zero to no communication. And they still charged me even though I decided to not go through with services through them. If I could give zero stars I would.”
“This company has turned into a site just here to scam patients in need. I was firstly over charged by $360 with two charges unrelated to the actual service or medication I was being provided. Not one representative online could explain why this has happened or even answer the question as to if and when those charges will be refunded. They approved my orders, made a shipment and then canceled that shipment. This was not fixed until I reached out 4 days later asking for an update on the shipment. Their response was that my order had just now shipped. I asked for any confirmation on when it would arrive and they've ignored me completely. Now I can finally see the shipment will in fact arrive after I already need the prescription. I've had to call in to have a single use order sent to a local pharmacy. This will I'm sure be many more additional charges. On top of all of the major issues with useless help online where automated responses are generated they've never once even attempted to bill my insurance. I confirmed this over the phone today with an employee from the company. The online customer service responded to me many times that if I have uploaded my insurance they will at a least attempt to bill it. It's uploaded and they could see my plan when I was talking to a person directly. On the phone she said she could see they've not once tried to bill my insurance and it's likely because I am being sent a 7 month supply which is typically denied. So they aren't even trying or letting me know there's a solution to getting things covered. I was told today most insurers only cover 3 months at a time. Never once have a asked for a larger supply to force myself to pay out of pocket! This was something they decided and have cost me so much money over time by lying right to my face. What a scam! Use anyone else who is actually working to support patients and all of their needs!”
“They keep charging my card without my authorization. They told me they can't delete my information even tho I canceled my subscription. I want the 80$ They charged my card put back immediately or I'll be pursuing Nurx for the overdraft fees that I have now, as a result of my card being charged without my permission. I want all my information deleted from Nurx. If there isn't a refund back to my card within 3 days, I will be pursuing them for my money back.”
“Scam alert. They require you a lengthy intake with numerous photos and credit card and then instead of scheduling you to their promised consultation, you get stuck in having to order their overpriced shampoos rather than the oral medication you applied for. Then they send you emails asking you to complete the consultation intake. But immediately redirect you to their product sales page rather than the consultation. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from NURX!! Dishonest and a waste of time in my experience.”
“Paid $40 for a consult fee - that's fine.. when you get what is promised. They were pretty quick about approving my prescription. Then they "shipped" it. It never left their local post office and was immediately returned to sender. It was never delivered. When I reached out to have them rectify the situation their response was they can refund me basically when they want to and wait to process the returned goods which could take weeks they said... even though it NEVER MADE IT TO ME. or I can order with them AND PAY OUT OF POCKET FULL PRICE. That is an unacceptable solution when the shipping error is clearly ON THEM. So I asked for a refund, and to please refund the $40 consult fee because I'm getting horrible customer service and zero product from them. Basically seems like a scam. Of course they won't do the descent thing and refund me my money.”
