“Fabulous product but it took about 4 months from time of purchase to delivery. I hadn't appreciated the furniture is made in Asia and certainly had no idea that even if it was that it would take that long to import. I think some reference on your website to say that items can be subject to significant delays would be warranted.”
“The furniture quality of is great and I used to be a loyal customer with half of my interior set up being from Oak Furniture. However, a few months ago I purchased a dining table, which didn’t fit in the room how I envisioned it to. When I made an enquiry to return it, Oak Furniture declined it and did not suggest any further options. In fact the team didn’t even answer my email, which I think is a poor customer service. Since then I stopped buying from Oak Furniture and prefer other stores where customer service is better.”
“I am very happy with the desk chair I purchased from Oak Furniture. However I wasn't happy that it took a lot longer to arrive that the 8-10 weeks published on their website. To make things worse the only way I found out what was happening with my order was when I emailed them and asked, otherwise no one bothered to keep me informed as to what was happening with my order.”
“Overall the product is well made, but one of the holes in the frame was set too low for the screw to catch, so we couldn't screw in the middle section as directed. Also the adaptor you send was broken so we can't use that either. Also, the instructions, while relatively easy to follow, were all written in what I assume was mandarin, so we couldn't read them. I was surprised by this with it being an NZ store and a lot of reviews saying the instructions were easy to follow. I must be one of the few non-bilingual customers you have. I have taken photos of all the above if you can send us a new adaptor that would be good, also some adaptors for the bed frame so we can plug in our devices would also make the product fit for purpose. Thank you.”

“Beautifully made and finished furniture. Good size and design. The drawers needed to be a little wider to fit the casing of the drawers. We ended up putting some packing in so they didn’t move around leaving gaps at the side.”
“The items were shipped in lots of polystyrene which is v hard to recycle - would not buy again unless there was a change of packaging to more sustainable materials.”

“I'm happy with my unit, glad it was on sale as it's not exactly to the hand made, detailed, joinery standard that your photos portrayed along the corner edges, which was what I liked about the unit. Little bit of false advertising there! The quality inside the open, visible, shelves is also substandard, ive had to full with books to hide it. The door is lighter in shade than the heavioy knotted draws. Shame the draws werent less knotty. Overall it's ok quality for the sale price that I paid and it's a good size and solid.”
“Bedside drawers - reasonable quality for the price, but they come with a horrible logo on the side, which is super obvious in view.
They also really noisy - they don’t have nice quite runners in the drawers.
Check your measurements carefully as the ones we ordered are sooo small - look silly next to our high bed. Not worth exchanging them as had to pay 50% restock fee!
Our TV cabinet looks ok though.”
