“While the order was complete the packaging was unacceptable. One carton had about 9 bottles that were loose in the carton. In general the packaging is very secure, however its disposal is an issue. Perhpas O'Brien's could counsider accepting packaging back for reuse or recycling”

It is one thing that we aim to pride ourselves on is safe and secure packaging for our customers. Unfortunately, we do not have a process for recovering the packaging at this time. We apologise for its bulky nature but as a company, we have committed to reducing our footprint with our packaging and so do not use single-use plastic in our shipping. Please note that the outer box is fully recyclable and the inner 'egg carton' packaging is fully compostable. “Delivery and packaging was very good. The Chenin is excellent after trying one bottle of the 2020. The Rioja Grand Reserva 2017 , again after one bottle, it is a bit disappointing. It medium tannins and is missing the richness, smoothness and more like a Bordeaux.”
