Got an email from DPD to say my original order (a birthday gift) had been damaged and returned to O’Brien’s. However, O’Brien’s never contacted me and I had to make numerous phone calls to have my new order re instated, thus missing my brother’s birthday. DPD 10 out of 10.. sadly O’Brien’s..?

Hi Anne, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Our warehouse teams works hard to ensure orders are packed safely, but sometimes orders may be damaged in transit. I can see the replacement order was delivered the next day. We’re truly sorry to hear about the delays and communication issues regarding your order. Very fast delivery. Only downside was that one of the boxes of the whiskeys had knife marks on it. It doesn't impact the quality of the product. But giving this as a present is not longer possible. Therefore a rating of 3, as for the carelessness of the unpacking of the boxes.

I thought the chateau bentejac 2022 was very acidic . The Haut Pingat & Billeron Bouqury were very nice. Good Sunday roast lunch wines . The bentejac didn’t even make it into the sauce and I’m a chef by trade. Down the sink . A tragic vision to witness.

Champagne was fine but dpd left on a doorstep in full view with nobody home fortunately it wasn’t stolen !

The wine was great. However, I thought I was getting pickup at store, I was a bit shocked when I realised it wasn't and I was hit with a delivery charge even though I did pick it up from a store. Also, I queried it and then responded again to which I got no reply. That has really annoyed me.

There is only a delivery option at the checkout online, regardless of what address you enter, whether that's a personal address or a stores address. Wine choice was fantastic, gift for new home owners, but unfortunately DPD delivered to wrong address again, not the first time they have let OBriens down but thankfully the wrong address was recognised and the wine was collected.... but great wine choice

Delivery left outside our gate by the footpath at 23:50 at night !!!! Surprisingly it was this there in the morning!! Will not be ordering on line again!!!! From what I tasted the wines are fine.

The wine was the right vineyard but the vintage was 2018 and not 2015 as was ordered.bit disappointing.
