O’Briens very good but your delivery agents DPD are terrible. Delivered on wrong date and left wine outside door with nobody home.

O'Brien's wine are excellent. You get what you order in good time and well packaged. Unfortuately the courier companies can be hit and miss. This time my parcel was left in the wrong estate. Luckily the proof of delivery image of the door they left it at gave me a clue as to their mistake and I retrieved before any porch pirates could get at it.

Hi, first time ordering from you, shame the packaged was damaged but this could of happened in tranaport and once ye knew it was sent out again and received the next day which was very good. Havent tasted the products yet but looking forward to.

In general, I have been happy buying wine and spirits from OBriens Last weekend I ordered 6bottles of each of two wines, total value €710. I wanted the delivery to be delayed until I was back home. I could not see how to do this online as part of the order, so did it by follow-up email to O’Briens. This was not actioned as it was a bank holiday weekend. So on Tuesday, I got a notice from DPD that wine would be delivered that morning. I immediately responded to DPD asking for delivery to be delayed til Friday. I received an acknowledgement of this request and confirmation that this change would be effected. Despite this communication, I did not trust DPD to action this so I contacted OBriens customer service. They noted my request and promised to contact DPD to emphasise the request. Which they did. DPD delivered the case anyway on Tuesday, sending me a photo of a neighbour taking the case into their house. So now a neighbour is inconvenienced by all this. I opened the case on Friday. One of the wines was a different vintage - 2024 instead of 2022. So I email OBriens to inform them that the vintage was not the one I ordered. Running out of stock is no excuse for this unsatisfactory substitution. A very helpful person, Sara-Marie in OBriens Customer Service, rang me to tell me she had rung branches to check on availability of the ordered vintage and found 3 in the Beacon branch. As the last thing I wanted was a delivery of 3bottles of 2022 to swap out for 3 bottles of 2024, Sara-Marie arranged for my name to be put on these bottles so I could do the swap in the beacon branch which I did yesterday. A lot of different things went wrong with this order. I am very reluctant to order online from OBriens again, particularly if DPD is the delivery agent.

Delivery was made to the wrong house of the wine. Wine in order was great. Luckily the house it was delivered to was another family members house.

Wish I could give 5 stars but although 8 thought the set is a good value for money and the gift was well appreciated by my friends, O’Briens need to change delivery company as an idiot driver from dpd just dumped the box of wine outside a random house - completely different number than my friends’ house and just left a picture of the box and the drain outside the house as a ‘proof’ of delivery. It was extremely stressful and wasted a few hours of my time and my friends time to locate the parcel and only due to pure luck and the honesty of the neighbour who actually found it by their door that my friends actually eventually received it. I still was charged delivery fee which i feel should have been refunded to me on top of apology which i received from O’Briens.

Wine delivery was prompt. Wine was as I selected. But the amount of paper packaging was enormous and unacceptable. I would never buy from O'Briens Online again if the delivery comes with this much bulky paper packaging. I realise that you're transporting fragile goods but other companies - e.g. wines direct - have a much better and less bulky delivery system.

I was disappointed to learn that the gift notes I included with each of the corporate holiday gifts we ordered were not delivered. I only discovered the issue because a client reached out to confirm whether a gift was from us.

It would help if a page detailing purchases was included containing more info on wines puchased: dry or off dry, medium or full bodied, tannins or smooth, grape varieties etc. This could avoid poor choices made when purchasing without detailed information. 8EG I found Albarino too sweet...

Fast and efficient service and great value too. Unfortunately box of 12 wines was left in the porch even though there was someone (over 18) indoors waiting for the order to arrive. Bottom of box was partially open as the sealing tape was torn. I would give 5 stars for quality and value of the wines and speed of delivery but an open box and leaving the box in the porch unfortunately downgrades this review to 3 stars.

Other than DPD breaking the wine in delivery and having to contact O'Briens to find out why it was originally lost, their customer service and eventual delivery was good.

I have yet to find a really good wine from O Briens! It’s no different to the supermarket wines in my opinion.

Was in the Ballybrack store. Showed the lady a picture of two different bottles of Sauvignon Blanc and asked for 2 of each. When I got home I realised that she put 2 of one bottle in the box, but she put only one of the other bottle and a bottle of Pinot Noir. Not great service when one has to drive back to the store and exchange for the correct bottle.
