I ordered a bottle of champagne on Tuesday 23rd Feb which arrived one week later (today)- I had thought that it would be possible for a Dublin delivery of one bottle to be a bit quicker than a week. No complaints on the delivery by the recipient- but I would like if the delivery could be quicker next time, as this was a congratulations gift and it ended up being quite late.

I don’t often need to shop on line......I really like to shop BUT last Christmas I had several Christmas presents delivered through O ‘Briens Wine with excellent results. My best friend’s birthday was Feb 21st and as I could not see her this year I decided to send her some wine to celebrate. I ordered it on Feb 15th and was confident it wóuld be with her on 21st. Unfortunately, I gave the address as Scholarstown Estate instead of Park but I did supply here phone number and post code. The wine did not arrive for her birthday and was in fact delivered to someone else. ( hopefully O ‘Briens will be able to recoup this ) eventually to day , Feb 26th the wine was delivered. Thank you O’Briens .... a long journey for us both! Paula Carolan Purchaser

Just as an FYI - the doorbell rang this morning after 8am and when we opened the door the wine box was sitting on the doorstep (in the rain) and there was no sign of the delivery person. They only rang the doorbell once and there was only 3mins between the bell ringing and the door opening max!

Thank you, the wines arrived today to my family which was very quick turnaround, the only disappointment was that I wrote a greeting card and it didn’t come with the package but other than that it was perfect: thanks Olive

I am very dissatisfied with UPS, I waited all day yesterday for my package and I have no idea where is was delivered to.Please let me know where my package is because it was not delivered to my home.I am giving o Brien’s wine 3 stars because every order I place there are always issues with delivery. I did not get all the bottles I had ordered. I ordered 3 bottles of Borisa Rioja which was substituted with a wine not of my choice.

The gin is good, only poor thing to say is the delivery driver through my order over the gate and onto the ground. Was terrified the gin would have been smashed - but it was ok. Not sure why the driver didn’t ring me or buzz the gate. Excited to try the gin

This was my first on line order due to travel restrictions. Normally I buy in store. Delivery docket did not match the actual wine in the shipment. There were substitutions which would have been fine if I had been able to review the original order / known in advance and possibly had a choice.

My order was delivered on Friday. Unfortunately when my son opened his gift there was a bottle short. The first one listed on the invoice was not in the box. Can someone get back to me about this please. Surely If you didn’t have this particular wine you could have put in a similar replacement

I ordered the wine following a review in the Irish Times specifically dealing with the wine sale. The article referred to the 2016 vintage of the wine in question and the bottle displayed in the review is the same label as the OBrien’s on line offer . However the wine supplied is the 2018 vintage . I accept the online offer does not ( deliberately ?) state the vintage but the wine vintage supplied by OBriens as part of this promotion to the Irish Times is not that actually being sold in the sale and I feel O Briens have been somewhat underhand in this promotion .

Dear John, Apologies for your disappointment with receiving the 2018 vintage when you expected the 2016. We sent a sample to The Irish Times journalist at his request but unfortunately the vintages moved on before that article was published. We have no control over the content of the article but do apologise for the confusion it caused- we would never intentionally mislead our customers in this manner. We do display vintages on our website and the Bordeaux you purchased is noted as being the 2018 vintage, but again apologies if this was not clear. Haven’t tried the wines yet, i’m Sue they’ll be great! However the delivery service was a disappointment. Because I have an issue with my back at the moment, when the delivery person rang the bell I asked them to bring the box around to my door (I live in a gated development). They didn’t but left it on ground inside the gate.

Wrong product received. I ordered a bottle of whiskey for 75 euro and received a bottle that retails for 40! I have sent an email to O’Briens’s already to complain and asking for it to be rectified.

Wine is perfect and quick turn around BUT i live in apt block and the wine is always delivered without even a text or ringing bell? so im not aware its sitting in reception, open to being stoled
