I have always found Octopus Engery's customer service representatives to supply 5* service. They will go above & beyond to help, either on the telephone or via email communication. Would highly recommend Octopus Energy.

It was so quick and easy for me to change my tariff and the call handler suggested reducing my monthly direct debit automatically - and I got email confirmation of the changes before I'd even finished the phone call. I wish all customer service was this good!

Easy to find their contact number, quick to answer the phone, polite and helpful and knew what they were talking about. Breath of fresh air in comparison to other UK energy providers...

I had a terrible time for two to three months with British Gas, and have been desperate to get away from the. Applied on line to switch, and there was a problem (I had a previous account with Octopus). Rang the number given, and got through to Thomas, who was excellent. He talked me all the way through the process, even getting me to down and up 3 flights of stairs for meter readings! Hopefully all will go well, and I will be back home with Octopus very soon. I will think twice before switching to some one else in future.

I had a question which Waverley was happy to answer for me. Also, unlike many companies where it takes ages to get to speak to a human, I only had to wait a couple of minutes 10/10.

Lovely conversation with Mark H today. I was asking if there was a cheaper fixed tariff. Unfortunately there isn't for me at the moment but I will phone again in July as advised.

Just spoke to Emily on the phone and was expecting a long drawn out affair but the problem was dealt with efficiently in a fraction of the time I expected, all without the usual being on hold listening to silly music beforehand which I've come to expect from most large British companies, she was also really friendly, overall a really good experience calling my new energy supplier.

Having just assisted an elderly neighbour liaise with another energy supplier who insist on contact via online chat and email - both alien to someone of 89 & frustrating even for me, it is nothing less than a joy to receive the customer service Octopus offers. You can call them and talk to an agent and responses to emails are swift & helpful. All my issues quickly dealt with by Octopus. Professional. No quibble. No stress. Thank you. Needless to say have advised the elderly neighbour to change energy providers to Octopus. How the elderly unfamiliar with chat, email and smartphone apps are expected to cope is beyond me. Without help they are truly very vulnerable to costly providers.
